Although the airport location ss is not a regular stop for me (as I normally go to the Kahala location), I do find the airport postal location to clean, service is pretty efficient, and there are a lot of available free postal supplies which you can help yourself to. There is also a self serve kiosk available, if you choose not to wait in the regular line. Parking here easy, as there is a very large private parking lot for this US Post Office location at the airport.

They have so many boxes out for people to take and even though there was a line, it went quickly. The guy scanned my QR code and took my box. It hasn't been scanned into the system though and it's been like 8 hours. I'm not sure how post offices work, but at the Ala Moana post office, the tracking on my packages starts only an hour or two after it's scanned. Idk why it's taking so long for this post office to start tracking my box. On my walk over, I noticed that there are quite a few hidden gems in the area. I am literally never in aiea, so this was a fun experience for me.

Gerry is the current USPS clerk and he is a great guy, he always goes beyond the expectations of normal customer service. He is experienced and knows the regulations and can help come up with a mailing solution for whatever you need to ship. You will not find better customer service, Gerry is the best. In the lobby they have all the priority flat rate and mailing envelopes you might need and they are free. It was send to distribution center and back to the servicing branch which is Ewa Beach. Tracking says it was out for delivery the next day. Even said she would give them back to me. She checked with her Lead Josh who I hear saying that delivery times are not guaranteed. One job here. Get mail delivered on time. I get issues with weather but we are on an island, and how do both envelopes have the exact same thing happen to them? Just needed my legal documents to get there when the expected date that was stamped on the certified ticket that was given to me. I was in the Waipahu area and needed to mail a package after a long couple of holiday the hours and lines has me pushing back mailing a package to a friend and knows that the delay didn't matter though was anxious to get it done. Driving up Leoku Street there is a driveway that seems like the one but it's for the USPS trucks to enter so you need to enter the second driveway which will take you to the post office which doesn't look like it as it has no sign or no suggestions that it's a post office. Lots of parking for easy access and love that they have a self service kiosk for you to mail your package as it's very convenient for all types of shipping as I used it to calculate the estimated cost before deciding on using the flat rate boxes or just on my own depending on the weight that will calculate the cost of shipping. You can find lots of table top to finish packing/writing what you need as this spacious location is very user friendly along with a driveway outside that leads up to a mailbox so you don't need to exit your car to mail your letter is a unique feature not found at many locations. I entered with my lovely HI collection of Starbucks cups to ship off (the SB HI COLLECTION IS BEAUTIFUL BTW) and I think her name was Sierra who helped me at her window. I literally had nothing prepared because i planned to just bring those boxes into the car and pack them right away. I was going to take 2 brown boxes but before leaving with them so i can pack my stuff, an employee tells me that it can't go outside but it needs to be paid first... i guess the brown packing boxes here are of charge & then you have to pay AGAIN for the total weight of your items. Sierra explained to me about the differences between the flat rate boxes and the brown shipping boxes. Flat rate boxes, the ones that are red and white, is free of charge and you can take it outside with you. They will only charge for the rate of the box being that it can only hold up to 70 pounds ! Great deal. Sierra recommended a large and medium for the cups because and in total, it costed about $38 which i think is worth it for about 15 to 20 pounds total. She was very helpful and even lended me packaging tape. She said that a customer left it and i did so too... just in case if anyone else would need to borrow some! A customer to the next window with her daughter overheard me say "keep the tape, I'm sure someone else will need it in case" and she commended about it hehe.
