Although the airport location ss is not a regular stop for me (as I normally go to the Kahala location), I do find the airport postal location to clean, service is pretty efficient, and there are a lot of available free postal supplies which you can help yourself to. There is also a self serve kiosk available, if you choose not to wait in the regular line. Parking here easy, as there is a very large private parking lot for this US Post Office location at the airport.

We haven't sent anything out thru the post office in over 10 years! Last time was when my mom WAS alive living Oregon back in 2012. ‍ Last time they had signs and cost posted up for us to see. Maybe I didn't look well but, it would help if they did display it more in the opening area. However, he WAS REALLY PATIENT AND VERY KIND because he did answer all of our questions & helped us choose what we needed. Overall tho, I'd say this place is the best place to come to for mail out things because they're QUICK & not SO BUSY. Ok that's about it. OH! But know the parking in front is kind of small. Located on Joint Base Pearl Harbor on the Navy side of the base in the same building as the Regional Mail Center (Bldg 479). This Post Office is open from 12-3pm. Parking can be a challenge at times but you might just have to wait a few minutes for something to come open. Gerry is the current USPS clerk and he is a great guy, he always goes beyond the expectations of normal customer service. He is experienced and knows the regulations and can help come up with a mailing solution for whatever you need to ship. You will not find better customer service, Gerry is the best. In the lobby they have all the priority flat rate and mailing envelopes you might need and they are free. On the customer counter you should be able to locate all the forms required to ship a package anywhere in the world.

The lady at the front around 3 PM was so kind, attentive, and pleasant. I really appreciated her fast, friendly service with a smile. She answered all my questions and made sure everything went smoothly. I don't normally ship things or use the postal service much, but she definitely made this a positive experience!

I stood in line thinking I had to wait even when I had a prepaid large box to drop off when I realized you could just go in and drop it off at the counter without waiting in line on the left hand side when you enter through the doors. There should be a sign out front so people don't have to wait this ridiculous long line. Better yet, if they had a drop box like the one at the airport, people don't even have to wait until the post office opens. It was send to distribution center and back to the servicing branch which is Ewa Beach. Tracking says it was out for delivery the next day. It didn't end up being delivered and said it should be the next day. No further update. So I go to the post office and Ryan was helpful trying to look everywhere for the two envelopes. Even said she would give them back to me. She checked with her Lead Josh who I hear saying that delivery times are not guaranteed. One job here. Get mail delivered on time. I get issues with weather but we are on an island, and how do both envelopes have the exact same thing happen to them? Just needed my legal documents to get there when the expected date that was stamped on the certified ticket that was given to me. I could have taken to FedEx and had no issue, probably even paid less than I did. Such a waste of my time and money. No I just have to wait until they find them, if they do.

I was in the Waipahu area and needed to mail a package after a long couple of holiday the hours and lines has me pushing back mailing a package to a friend and knows that the delay didn't matter though was anxious to get it done. Driving up Leoku Street there is a driveway that seems like the one but it's for the USPS trucks to enter so you need to enter the second driveway which will take you to the post office which doesn't look like it as it has no sign or no suggestions that it's a post office. Lots of parking for easy access and love that they have a self service kiosk for you to mail your package as it's very convenient for all types of shipping as I used it to calculate the estimated cost before deciding on using the flat rate boxes or just on my own depending on the weight that will calculate the cost of shipping. You can find lots of table top to finish packing/writing what you need as this spacious location is very user friendly along with a driveway outside that leads up to a mailbox so you don't need to exit your car to mail your letter is a unique feature not found at many locations. Parking is easy, and Michelle is the nicest USPS worker I've ever met! The first time I went, I was mailing a passport photo and I had to ask Michelle to help me staple the photo to the application because I don't own a big stapler. She was so kind and we had a good laugh about that. There's no drama and I've never experienced a long line. Today I learned that if you're just dropping off a package to be shipped (with paid labels) and it doesn't contain batteries, you can just drop it at the open window. No waiting in line needed. Space is small and cramped so lines wrap around the inside pretty quickly. No quick ship option. PO boxes available. Limited supplies (boxes, tape, cards, etc) on the inside.
