    Ms.Irene

Ms.Irene SHOULD NOT WORK ANY TYPE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. I nicely asked for a pen she through it on the counter and didn't say anything. She treated me like I was TRASH from the scum of the earth, she didn't look me in my eyes not once, when she was talking to me she was looking at the counter the whole time disrespecting me....she did not treat others this way who previously went before me. I still smiled at her with grace and said hey it's a good year happy new year let's be happy, she rolled her eyes as if she was in complete discuss. Avoid this woman she would truly make you feel like crap just for being in her presence.

Forever stamps = $0.49 postage "guaranteed"

"I gave a letter to the postman, He put it in his sack. And the very next morning, He brought my letter back. She wrote upon it: Return to sender, address unknown. No such number, no such zone." - Artist: Elvis Presley The USPS has honored Elvis Presley, The King of Rock n' Roll by issuing commemorative stamps in his honor since August 12, 2015. I stood in line at this post office to get these Forever stamps as I still have SOME correspondence that I rely upon hardcopy letters (old school or just old?) rather than managing through online transactions. I am not a philatelist but, I enjoy seeing the new designs and tributes to various themes. So, what does this have to do with this neighborhood post office? This post office has friendly and helpful staff. There's hardly ever a crowd whenever I go there during the week days. I would NEVER dare go during Saturday or Holiday Season so I can't speak for those peak times. The building itself seems a bit run down but, there is a dedicated parking lot and to me, it's conveniently located right across the street from the Pearl City 24-hour Fitness Club. I roamed in to mail a flat-rate box to my brother-in-law in California and found that on my birthDAY these Elvis stamps were available. The postal worker efficiently processed my package and then asked if I needed any stamps or more products. Yes, I said...how could I pass on getting these stamps?! I just hope that whoever receives mail from me will be as excited about seeing these Forever stamps and won't return my mail. #414

And I felt so bad because it seemed like the Clerk Jesse was small kine annoyed with us because we didn't know anything. But it's NOT OUR FAULT! We haven't sent anything out thru the post office in over 10 years! Last time was when my mom WAS alive living Oregon back in 2012. ‍ Last time they had signs and cost posted up for us to see. Maybe I didn't look well but, it would help if they did display it more in the opening area. However, he WAS REALLY PATIENT AND VERY KIND because he did answer all of our questions & helped us choose what we needed. Overall tho, I'd say this place is the best place to come to for mail out things because they're QUICK & not SO BUSY. Ok that's about it. OH! But know the parking in front is kind of small. ROOMY but small. But there is more parking on the BACK-SIDE on the right of the Post Office. So IF ANYONE HAS MAIL TO SEND... COME HERE! Thanks for reading and Happy Holidays!

This location is very close to my home and I can drop off my return on the way out to do other errands or on the way home, if I leave my house before they open. They do get a tiny credit for accepting UPS boxes so please utilize them. They'll let you know the pick up times for UPS, USPS (think priority flat rate boxes), etc. so if you record the times in your contacts you can be sure to get your boxes out timely. Friend told immigration he is taking me around sight seeing at Point Roberts. Immigration asked if I am from somewhere else and if I have seen trees and gas station. After crossing the boarder, now I know what he means. Yes only one supermarket, couple gas station and a bunch of trees. You basically see one part of PR and you basically see all parts. So most people who come here for the purpose of picking their package and filling up gas. Its weird how at gas station they have price listed in liters. I had to ask my friend about this. They said its for convenience of the Canadian. Prices here are higher than Blaine or just USA Mainland. On top of it, you can only do so much here. I think I still prefers going to the USA Mainland/ Blaine than here. But I have to say they do have a nice park. Go on nice sunny days.

Thanks to some cartographers not doing their homework in the 1800s, this little enclave is the perfect way to get around the legalities of international shipping. As a result, there are lineups like crazy on Saturdays, as most package holding places aren't open on Sunday. Tips for getting to your package faster: a) Park on the street just before the border (Diefenbaker Park comes to mind), then walk across. You can see a mass exodus of people pulling dollies and wagons here. Quite hilarious, and there's a ton of parking. Customs is super quick when you're a walk-in as it's obvious you aren't stashing that new laptop in your jacket. b) If you are going across to MAIL a package (ie sell something), then the flat rate is $11USD per vehicle, regardless of the value of what you're selling. Something to keep in mind. I found this out the hard way once. However this doesn't apply to.. *drum roll* walk-ins. Again, the dolly/wagon wins. I've taken advantage of this piece of land several times, and each time the officers were very courteous. Totally wish I could say the same for Blaine. It's like they send all the nice ones here.
