these people know what they're doing. A lot of people visit this store. I have been there several times and they are quick and efficient. You might have to wait because I think everyone else loves the store as well. But the wait is not too long. They are helpful and friendly and the prices are reasonable. I don't even know where to start with this review other than the Notary woman refused to do her job, told us she was uncomfortable doing her job, and made it to where we had to leave to go to the Pearl Harbor Nex UPS where the Notary there was confused by the amount of incompetence exhibited by the Schofield branch. We were attempting to get closing documents for our house notarized. My husband's middle initial was incorrect on the paperwork, but we were told by our real estate agent and the title company to mark through and correct the initial with the notary present. Sure great easy. The Notary girl here refused to do it stating she was "uncomfortable" doing her job. We showed her Hawaii state Notary law where it says she can do it, showed the UPS notary regulations that said she could do it, called the Pearl Harbor UPS branch where she spoke with another Notary who walked her through and told her how to do it, and at the end of everything she told us she was too uncomfortable to her job. So we went to the other branch (30 minutes away) and the manager and notary there got us all wrapped up and out the door in about 20 minutes. Please train your employees better, or get ones that know what they are doing. read more

The ONLY reason why I chose (past tense) this location is due to the location and convenience. This store needs to be closed indefinitely. This store should be reported to the BBB because there's individuals and the manager give UPS a bad reputation. They lie about shipping. They don't understand written English of their own policies and they forge documents. If you have any time pick another location. Do not, I repeat, do not use this location. Take the additional time and go somewhere else because this would be a waste of time and brain cells. The manager acts as if she dropped out of school in 1st grade and had to fight all her life. There is no remaining calm while asking questions because she brings the violence out of you about the most mundane things that she should be an expert in. It's as if they want every dollar. They charge erroneously for things they do not tell you about. An investigation should happen because there is no way this location should be open. The second grader on the corner in Porter Community selling lemonade has better work ethic that this manager. Her poor colleagues are no better following with the ridiculous explanations that only makes sense to them because they just pulled it out of their asses. Abort mission. Pick another location. Save yourself the stress. The only reason it has 1 star is because I don't have a choice. They're lucky that I'm working on me because that assault and battery charge ain't looking too bad. read more

It's decent overall, but they have a really inconvenient rule on a multiple person account though. When you add people on the account, you can have anyone renew it that has their name attached to it, but only the person who initially created the can close it. The person who opened it first went there, and was misinformed on how to close the account. They asked if there was anything need to close it after picking up a package, and were told no. That they would close the account. I was under the impression they closed it, and it had not been done. They told me, "Anyone who works here would have told him that they would have needed to fill out a form to close the account." So my only option was to renew it or have them come back and close it (they were not on island). We do not need the box anymore, and I did not want to pay for an extra three months. So they just hold it and it accumulates fees until it gets closed. Good times. read more

The service was excellent, no lack there. However, I am giving it a one star because of a lack in the companies offerings for this location. USAA, the most known military bank as we most know as a system with UPS stores where you can do check deposit. Well, all locations except on military post?! Really??!! Notary needs to brush up on her skills.....she refused to look at our paperwork and stated "in the state of Hawaii we can't notarize anything with blank spaces" which is totally untrue! We took our paperwork downtown and got an expert to look at it no problem! We got it notarized and drove back to Schofield. Thanks for nothing UPS! In reply to manager's response: Ummm, several title companies that are familiar with relocation transactions (when there are BLANK spaces since the purchase price and buyers haven't been determined) offered to help us out with the notary service after we were refused help by your office. Obviously they know something you don't about this so please don't insinuate that we found some "back-alley" notary after we left your store! read more

The notary woman at the UPS store in Schofield Barracks is racist, terrible, demeaning, and extremely unhelpful. I am a soldier who went to utilize this store for the first time for notary purposes in July 2021, and it was one of my worst experiences at a shipping store (especially on-post). If she is not happy and ready to do her job and serve diverse people then she should ultimately quit and the store manager should allow someone better take her place. Her attitude has turned away several soldiers and our families from utilizing this store. I would rather drive 10-15 mins to the next UPS (away from Schofield) than ever patronize this store again for whatever purpose. I wish Schofield can just scrap this store and replace it with something else like FEDEX. read more

I was thinking going on post was going to be accessible and quick, but it was literally the worst experience of my life at a shipping store. I went to ship a box from Hawaii to Virginia to my family and it was an oversized box and they wanted me to pay $108 to ship it with no other options. I went to the USPS and they shipped it for half of the price. The lady at the front desk here, was beyond rude and distressful. I opened my box to see if I could break down any of the items inside to get a smaller box but I couldn't. I asked the lady if I could tape back up my box, and she got a huge attitude and told me "I can only close it." She only put two small pieces of tape on it. Never again will I even think about coming here or recommend it. read more

I was a bit surprised by some of the negative views. I have always had a good experience and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Remember that it is located on an Army base so it can be a little crowded sometimes. One thing I have learned from observation living in Hawaii, if you go into a place with an attitude you will probably get it right back. read more

POOR SERVICE AND EXCESSIVE PRICES. The service at this UPS store was exceptionally poor. The prices were outrageous as well. To mail a small bag with a pair of pants to the mainland, the UPS Store wanted nearly $30 for standard post office service. I decided that was outrageous and went straight to the post office, which charged me less than $10. If you want to pay a 300% markup for the UPS Store to drop your package off at the post office, go for it. As for me, I'll stick with the post office. read more

Paid 45 and 40 for two boxes fro go to the same place. One arrived damage (UPS due to poor packing). It had 5 1/8 inch grade steel stack on one another, they got bent. It would of taken over 4500 pounds to do the damage. Who was cares UPS lost the item and lost the fight with them for the insurance. WHY BUY INSURANCE. The store need to get kick off base no a good service for the military. read more

The staff here knows me by face/name and greets me as soon as i step in. Every visit is a most wonderful experience and I can't point out any imperfections with the actual staff personnel.
