Two For Two I'm fortunate to have discovered this place while shopping at Seafood City! This location ships boxes from Hawaii to the Phillipines, whether its to someone over there or for yourself (Balikbayan) for a coinciding visit. I found the rate to be good for the size and pounds allowed for the box, but I was still skeptical at first because of my previous shipments with other services and all the horror stories (including USPS). So let me just list the ProCons. PROS: Door to Door Delivery: This service will handle your package all the way to the final destination, hence, avoiding the "corruption/den of thieves" that would otherwise prey upon your precious goods! No more having to awkwardly explain to sobbing children that their box of goodies arent coming anymore! Opening: They dont open your box like some services do so you dont have to worry about missing items or mystery dirty fingerprints inside your box. Tracking: They have tracking numbers so you'll know if your box fell off the boat and into the ocean! CONS: That App: While I'm greatful there is a App for Atlas Shipping, I'm not fond of it. Its "Clunky", has irrelevant, redundant, or inaccurate drop down list options, and just overall feels like I'm in the days of "American Online" again. That Form: I didn't like the App so I had to come in and fill out form for the contents of the box, the form had very small spaghetti lines to list all my items, the whole thing felt like a conundrum lol! OVERALL: Service was fine, though, you may lose some patience if there is a language barrier. The two young ladies working the front are pretty knowledgeable though. I guess what it boils down to is if your box gets to the destination in one piece, and so far this place is 2 for 2 with me and has earned my trust and recommendation! Boxes got there on schedule with no visible damage and all contents intact! (No more boxes that looked like they were kicked, thrown down a flight of stairs and then run over by a truck!) I usually don't have much issues, once your name is in the system, you just show them your ID, tell them who you're sending money to, and tell them how much money you are sending with a $9 transaction fee. Staff is friendly and can't wait to utilize the cargo section. However I knocked off a star because I didn't know the hours so I called and whoever was working told me they closed 5:20pm and I repeated her just to make sure and my dad and sister can attest to it cause I put her on speaker, but arrived there few minutes past 5pm for them to tell me that they close at 5... They even thought I called the wrong number and had me show which number I called. Other than that, just a FYI on the hours of operation. Lesson learned ask for employee's name on the phone. read more

I am an Atlas customer since I was in California. An awesome people, they replace your box for free all professionally staff, lalo na ang nag pi pick up ng box. I moved to Hawaii, Atlas customer service went to down to the drain . When I call the number to schedule a pick up a lady that I spoke to suggested to take picture of the form and send to the same number we're using. So I did. I accidentally dial another Atlas number but I hang up right away. Then he call me back. And I said no thank you I already text my information. He insist to talk and ask me to text to his phone instead my form which I already did. Fernan is very impolite, like to argue with their customer and act like he owns the damn company. An arrogant, condescending person. It's been a while since the last time I send boxes to this Shippers because they either open our boxes & steal some item when it get to the Philippines. I was going to leave a review earlier but had to wait 'til my first box arrived. The staff are very accomodating and friendly. They addressed all my questions nicely. The rate is not bad either. $8 for the regular-sized box. $45 for the shipping fee (if you drop the box off their office, $55 if they're picking it up from your place). Overall, a great first time experience. Will definitely send my 2nd box with them again. read more

I send money on Friday (November 13) they are supposed to get money on the same day. Until now they are not getting the money. Then I called the company today on Sunday (November 15) they said, "the money will be available on Tuesday (November 17) This is first time it has happened to me I always send money through this company. This has been the worst experience and this will be the last time I am going to use this company. Unacceptable and I DO NOT recommend this company. Especially when my family really needs the money. After having a bad experienced from a different shipper a friend of mine told me about this place . I'm glad I listened to her . We dropped off our boxes May 4th .Kuya (manager ) was very nice he made sure my boxes are safe etc and said it will get there either last week of June or beginning of July but to my surprise it arrived today June 18th ! Finally Atlas is in the island. I've lived in several different states throughout the years and Atlas has never failed me. I started shipping with Atlas 10 years ago in SFO. I have tried other shippers where Atlas did not exist and have had problems all the time. Atlas has never ever given me problems. The shipment arrives well on time and sometimes earlier than expected delivery date even to other regions. I have shipped from HNL and it has been the same efficient and safe experience as in mainland. Fernan and his staff are awesome. Nice and excellent customer service. Atlas is trustworthy. read more

From pick-up to delivery in Metro Manila, everything was smooth with zero problems. All our balikbayan boxes were picked up as scheduled and arrived fast. I send my Balikbayan box on the May 3rd and it shows on the manifest they received it on the 05/22. Besides all the promises made they will ship on the 10th and went back few days after they said they were extending shipping to the 18th. Since it shows was received on the 22nd of May doesn't mean they shipped aready. So who knows! it'll probably get there this christmas. Another thing they where promising customer not to worry about their package as they take good care of them. But I saw one of their handlers dropped someones box after placing in the weighing scale. That was a big kaboom that startled everyone. Just hope nothing broke in that box. After I checked, Thank god it wasnt mine. So, I went back to LBC for my next shipment. read more
