Today, Daniel my regular route carrier delivered in am hours. A few hours later he returned with a package he accidentally dropped in his van. I was outside. I received the package addressed to me personally and I asked, "why didn't you just wait until your next delivery time?" His response was, " I identified it as medication and didn't want to take the risk of causing harm to anyone that needs it!" A dress I got for my cousins wedding was slighly delayed in shipping. The night before the wedding I knew it was at the post office but that delivery woul take place after I needed to leave for the event. I decided to take a shot and go down and see if anything could be done, knowing it would be highley dependent on who I spoke with. And I could not have gotten moe lucky when I met Gerald, a man that truly cares about his job and helping others. A HUGE thank you to him for taking your time to help me out. This location is sort of tricky to access depending on where you're coming from. The lot has plenty of parking spaces. I can't speak on the service as I've only gone inside to mail stuff with postage already applied. They also have the kiosk where you can self mail small packages or letters without getting in line. I prefer self service so I appreciate the option. Avoid this place in December though, people are just crazy rude at Christmas time.. read more

All of the employees here are so friendly! The manager, Gerald, was incredibly helpful with the issue I had involving a letter I needed back after dropping it in the mail slot. I witness a very kind interaction with an elderly gentlemen and he was treated with such kindness and respect from the manager. Might be the busiest post office I have ever been to, there was already a line before noon here, only 3 employees at the counter, so the wait was pretty slow yet steady, the staffs were pretty nice by the way, stamps are 68 cents a piece, they seems to have a large amount of PO boxes here as well, the only thing I didn't like was their parking lots, small and tight, it's tricky to get in and out. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Service is terrible. The older women I've encountered who work here need an attitude check. I'm asking to intercept a package. I called ahead (after waiting 45 minutes on the phone to talk to someone) to make sure I was allowed to pick up a package if it hadn't been delivered yet. I'm going out of town tomorrow (delivery date) and need to bring this item with me. I was telling the supervisor this and she just talks over me lol. "Nope nope nope. Idk why the man on the phone told you that." "Not my problem" Whole time she just looks irritated that she had to leave the back room to speak to me. This isn't the first time I've had issues either. I had to stand in line to get a Certified Return Receipt cards and then wait in line again after I had filled it out, waiting for slow lines. Please fill in your containers when they get empty. Only 2 people in front of me, they were quick but then not my lines. The register tape was broke so that had to be fixed. In line 16 minutes when it should take 5 mins. The supervisor locks me and another person in. She should stand near the door to let people know she'll let you out. She tells me it's past closing. I wasn't sure if she was going to let me out-seriously. She should say I am sorry, I will let you out-not it's past closing as if it is my fault! Then don't let 2 workers go at the busiest time of day 5pm. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE like other reviews. They get paid regardless. read more

I really wish I lived somewhere else so I had a more competent post office team. I regularly get packages shipped to me from overseas, usually paying a hefty amount for basic shipping (instead of opting for Fed-Ex or UPS). I work the same hours they are open, varying between 30-75 minutes away depending on where my occupation takes me, so by the time I'd get home to get the package, they are closed. You'd think that's where redelivery is a nifty tool, right? Wrong. I don't know if it's the responsibility of the carriers or of the other people working at the post office to input the article number (on that peach slip they leave) into their system, but EVERY time I've tried to schedule a redelivery, it doesn't happen because there's no article number tied to it (even though I do everything I can to give all additional information). I ALWAYS have to rearrange my schedules and meetings to pick up the package when they open (and mind you they sometimes like to open 2-5 minutes after the "open" time). I'm always stressed out that my package will be returned to the sender, and my shipping money wasted, when all that needed to happen was someone doing their job and making it possible for me to get my items. I have informed delivery, and unfortunately I cannot sign beforehand for my packages because my deliveries aren't eligible or something like that. Trust me, I'd like to say that everything is great with this place, but I'm talking 15+ times and I'm just tired of it. This review won't change anything, considering we're all roped into the post office that's within our zip code, but maybe on some chance that the manager looks at these he /she/they can look into it. A lot of people complaining here, get over it!! I've been a box holder here for 35 years and the staff is great. I deal with Barry at the window and he's always low key , and informative. All businesses have isolated issues from time to time and the postal service is no exception from coast to coast. It's the nature of the beast....there's not a need to verbally insult postal employees by name on social media ....if you have a complaint talk with the on site station Manger, they can remedy problems and issues alot faster then you think!! The interior recently got refurbished and the custodial staff does a great job. It's neat and clean when it opens in the morning but yes, some folks make a mess of the lobby by throwing their unwanted mail on the floor and countertops, presumably the way they live at home!! The post office was built decades ago and the small parking lot has to accommodate thousand's of more people weekly then it did years ago. Just be patient and shad up about it. Parking can be premium at times! This is demanding business, be easy on the staff. There doing the best they can with budgetary issues and ongoing decreases in service staff..... It's not fair to this location that I cannot rate the USPS overall, because the staff there has been friendly and helpful, but my delivery experience is abysmal and I will Never overnight with USPS again. I sent medicine to my wife which is fine for one day at ambient temperatures but past two days needs refrigerated. I also sent some Easter gifts to my kids. The package was supposed to arrive on Saturday morning, but didn't even reach the city until Saturday night, so no delivery. Then no delivery Sunday of course, and here it's the end of the day Monday and the package has been sitting at their facility. Three days. For a $40 overnight package, I think three days is excessive, not to mention the cost to replace the ruined medicine. Bad job, guys. UPS or FEDEX from now on. read more

Only 1 attempt was made to deliver a package to my home. Post Office policy is 2 attempts are to be made. I go to the post office on the next available work day during my lunch break. After waiting in line for nearly 20 minutes; and observing the supervisors buddy cut to the front of the line to pick up his package I was informed they had already returned my package to originator. Not only did they violate their own delivery policy I was not afforded the opportunity to retrieve my package that I paid for expedited shipping on. They made zero attempt to intercept my package fro the truck that had just departed their building. No wonder the American Public has such a negative view on Federal Employees after experiencing the incompetence; and lack of concern deployed by the employees at this location. read more

An okay post office. I tend to come tot his one the most and I am okay with it. The post office itself is pretty large. There are a ton of boxes there if you want to rent one. There is always a super huge line and I want to blame the staff but after spending time in those lines, I have come to realize it is the people causing it to take so long. It amazes me how little some people know or understand about mailing things out. I think what gets me the most are the people who try to bargain or change the prices. The prices are set and fighting with staff is not going to get you anywhere. If your post office staff member is being a jerk to you, think a bout all of the people who have probably been screaming at them all day. Take a deep breath and be kind to them. They might really need it. The parking lot is incredibly small. The road often gets pretty full as well. I have often parked at the bank across the street and walked over and it has made my life easy when leaving. I hate playing the parking game. Overall, a decent post office to go to. read more

Very poor service. I have a P.O. box, and when I first asked for the door code for entry after hours, I was given the wrong one. I had to come back during lobby open hours and get the correct one. Then when I tried to use it, I discovered the keypad was so old that the numbers were worn off. I complained to the desk about that and nothing was done. Also, the lighting is horrible at the door with access; I had to use a flashlight. You can barely see the numbers where they've been embossed on the keypad, but all the ink has worn off. First off, our mail carrier (Simon) is great but the Mail Hold service at this branch on 2nd stinks! Twice now we have come home to mail in our mailbox instead of being delievered the day after we get home. It is quite disturbing, mostly sknce it is a clear signal to burglars that you are not home!!! We have used the USPS online Mail Hold system 4 timex yet somehow, it doesn't make it to the carrier half the time, in our case. Our mail carrier just gave us a bunch of blue mail hold cards to use, which we will give directly to him in the future. Second, I have only been in to this post office branch a few times, for stamps, etc. and have had good, friendly service. Lastly, forget about calling them. They don't answer the phone.
