I've lived all over San Diego, and one thing I find to be a unexpected bonus is having easy access a postal service business. No I'm serious. Sometimes going to the Post Office is a real drag, mostly because of how poorly customers like to treat the Post Office workers. I try to avoid when possible. Thankfully, I have a Postal Center Plus just a couple blocks from my house. Not only can I get anything and everything I need shipped, but it's also got a really nice little gift area with some quality crafts. My wife loves the snow globes assortments they have out during the holidays. I've bought some nice gifts for my mom here as well. They have a nice assortment of greeting cards as well, much better than the CVS that is right next door. Today I was able to quickly get some passports photos done. It was quick and efficient, as well as affordable! Staff is always so kind. Afterwards it made me think about how it's nice to have a little postal service business like Postal Center Plus so close to my home. 5 outta 5 fo sho! read more

This Postal Center Plus store is the absolute Best. I have used this place 3 or 4 times for packages,cards, and a variety of services and would highly recommend this place to everyone. One example Id like to share..I got a package thru Fed Ex with a return label that was completely messed up and return label wrong after waiting for it. Arlene went way out of the way to help me straighten the problem out..She called me right away and told me it was wrong and held the package to pick up.. Other times I go there to make copies of things I need or for a notary signature and their service is quick,very professional and you can always count on them. Also, they have an awesome amount of different cards for sale,nic nacs and items that alot of people would find interesting to give as gifts. Ok everyone, myself and many friends and family use Postal Center Plus. I've used them on countless occasions for just about everything under the sun, you name it I've done it there. I have never once had an issue, the owner and staff are AMAZING! So with that said IGNORE THE 1 STAR COMMENTS. I would be willing to bet money that the people posting those bad reviews are probably the one who screwed up and now they are BIIIIG mad. We needed a notary in a pinch for time sensitive documents. Madison was on site and is a very professional young lady. Took time to double check her work and she is detail oriented. I wish I would of found this place the first time we notarized our documents. While we were going through the process I noticed several customers come in. This is a long time coming. I love fast , and efficient service. This hidden Gem is a life saver. Initially I went to get my Live Scan for my employer. I was expecting an excruciating long wait. This was not the case. I was in and out, So I decided to go back and mail a package again... they were fast and so friendly! I feel in love! Amazing customer service! Had an issue with a delayed shipment with Fed-Ex and after 2 phone calls and over 50 minutes of talking with a supervisor at Fed Ex they could not help us at all. Just left Postal Center Plus. I am so unhappy. About three weeks ago I went in to the center to return a medical garment that didn't fit. I paid insurance and postage that was somewhere around $14. The girl that packed my parcel couldn't get it to fit into the bag she selected to put it in. Then she had my husband's name on the screen and I told her mine needed to be on the package. She assured me my name would be on the package no matter what name was showing.... CONFUSED: So here it is August 12th and my husband receives a note saying that the package was undeliverable, but for another fee they will re-mail it. What a gimmick! Since the girl assured me my name would be on the package and I paid for the parcel I do not understand why they sent a note to my husband. I also do not understand why since I put the doctor's name on it they couldn't deliver it (but this was a UPS problem). Is it no wonder that the whole mail system is failing they can't get it right... The whole thing is a fiasco so now I know what I will be doing tomorrow. Driving the darn thing to the doctor instead of trusting a postal service to deliver it. Postal Center is overpriced and under informed. WARNING: DO NOT GO THERE FOR YOUR POSTAL SERVICES!! read more

I went to the bank and came out and was going to go to a Fedex store in El Cajon but then saw this place . I had a new iPhone 7+ I was shipping to my father on Monday the 18 so I said let's support small business so I used there services to send my phone to my father for a gift . Well I wanted to avoid the rush so I paid about $45 for 2 day shipping so he'd guaranteed get it by the 20th well o didn't think about things because works been so busy so I checked with my father and he said he never got the package. So I checked the tracking and it showed that Fedex never got the package . So I called fedex and they confirmed they didn't get it and they advised me to contact my shipping store . So I did and they the postal store said they'd look into it and get back to me . I herd nothing from them and I continued to try and get info from fedex and nothing they couldn't help so I called the owner at the postal store and they insisted that the package was indeed picked up by fedex and that they had proof and that they'd send me a copy of the proof . I still don't have the proof . It seems like no one cares or can help . So if it didn't get picked up by FedEx then an employee stole the package at the postal store or the package was stolen by the FedEx driver or it fell off the truck bumper ?? Who knows !??? All I know I will never come here again and I don't recommend anyone using this store either . That is unless you done mind loosing you package. Sorry to be so negative but at this time I'm just over it and am going to have to file a lost/stolen flame with my phone insurance. Foot note . I have been going here for years. I had the US Mail send a package back saying it leaked. Well Postal Center Plus packed it for me and knew my contents had not leaked but had been leaked upon. They took care of it directly with the US Mail and called to let me know what happened and that the package was on it's way to TN again. Another time I was out of town and needed to make sure a package had arrived on time. Unfortunately I had left the tracking information at home. I called and asked them to check for me and was able to confirm the package had been signed for. I've always been waited on by different ladies, and they are always so pleasant. This is not the closest place to me for mailing packages, however, they are so wonderful and friendly that I will go out of my way to do all my shipping here. My husband is in the military and I mail him stuff just about every week. I carry all my stuff in there in a bag and they will pack it, fill out customs forms, label it, and mail it for me. Then they email me once it's on it's way. I am new to California from the South and their customer service makes me feel like I'm back at home. I went into this location to have a picture printed for a presentation tomorrow, and was greated with a warm welcome the second I went in. There was about a hlaf-dozen inline, and they still found the time to great me. It only took about 2 minutes for me to be assisted at the cashier. They informed me that thier color-printer had recently broke, and "Carrie" the clerk took my file and said that she will be right back. Within a couple of minutes she returned with my 8 x 11 color print in a CVS envelope. She walked to a neighboring store and did it herself. I came into the store before Xmas and was greeted by a very nice lady who helped me send a package to my daughter in Afghanistan. She told me that she would send it so it would arrive by Dec 25. The package held presents for her and the men and woman that were in her care. They sent me a photo and thanks for the gifts they received. I have been using this postal service for at least 6 years now. The staff is kind, courteous, and extremely professional. I would have always rated them 5 stars. Recently I had an issue with my taxes at no fault of the Postal Center. The owners went above and beyond the call of duty. They met with me outside of business hours to get to the bottom of my tax situation. They made phone calls and met me at the local post office to get me answers as to what happened to my mail. This was so above and beyond anything I had ever seen especially since this was nothing at all there issue. I would rate them 100 stars if I could.
