I simply wanted one copy, and the girl behind the counter proudly told me they charge 2.00 for the first page and the .35 centers after that. Why on Earth would anyone pay these prices for a basic copy when you can go anywhere else or even use your own home computer. I was trying to save time, but now I will just make my copy elsewhere or at home for FREE! Sometimes going to the Post Office is a real drag, mostly because of how poorly customers like to treat the Post Office workers. I try to avoid when possible. Thankfully, I have a Postal Center Plus just a couple blocks from my house. Not only can I get anything and everything I need shipped, but it's also got a really nice little gift area with some quality crafts. My wife loves the snow globes assortments they have out during the holidays. I've bought some nice gifts for my mom here as well. They have a nice assortment of greeting cards as well, much better than the CVS that is right next door. Today I was able to quickly get some passports photos done. It was quick and efficient, as well as affordable! Staff is always so kind. I visited this UPS Store, which is otherwise very nice, well organized, easily accessible, and has good parking. When the employee behind the counter asked how she could help, I explained the situation. Her response was, "I don't know. I cannot answer your question, and this is up to the driver to decide." She also suggested that I contact the recipient, which I had already done. The recipient confirmed that as long as the barcode was intact, the package should be fine and suggested that the UPS Store could assist me. Unfortunately, I left without being able to return my package. I then visited the UPS Store located inside Vons on Avocado Avenue, where a young employee immediately understood the situation. She explained that the intact barcode was what mattered, accepted the package, and provided me with a receipt for confirmation. What I found disappointing was not the store itself, but the lack of assistance with a straightforward question. In an age when technology is making routine processes increasingly efficient, I would expect employees to have the basic knowledge, training, or resources needed to address common customer concerns rather than simply dismissing them. The contrasting experiences at these two locations made this especially frustrating. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and considers additional employee training or clearer procedures so that other customers, particularly those with time sensitive shipments, can receive the assistance they need.

That said, I have witnessed the owner speak to employees in a condescending and disrespectful way, including reprimanding them right in front of customers. It is unprofessional and uncomfortable to watch. The staff themselves are the real reason this place runs smoothly. They are professional, patient, and genuinely helpful. They clearly care about their work and the customers. Owner, please do better by your team. They deserve respect, not public putdowns.
