I'm bummed I have to write this. This place is conveniently located but they have lost my business. I went in to make prints for my children's school projects. I had text and pictures. The associate had everything printed in black and white. I needed the pictures in color. She then reprinted the whole thing and charged me for both. So I was basically charged double for what I actually wanted. I've been to other UPS stores where they check the file and ask if I want it printed in color or black and white. The associate was talking to another customer at the time and was not paying attention. I'm disappointed that they still charged me for the extra prints I didn't need and could have at least gave me a courtesy since I have frequented this establishment. read more

This is an interesting UPS Store location as it's inside a grocery store, the Vons. I actually asked the guy working the first time I'd been in if it was common practice and he said it's the only one in a Vons in the county. It's located on the right side of the Vons building when you enter the store, which threw me off the first time because typically that's where the produce department would be. There's usually parking in front of the store, to the right if you're in a hurry. They sell packing tape and envelopes etc too. The service has always been good when I've been in and there's not usually any wait, which is a plus. read more

I needed a Fax service of double sided documents. I was being charged to make one sided copies plus the fax fee of $3 a page. I then would have 22 one sided copies. Grand total was $49!!! Wow!!! I left and went to the public library and it was FREE! $3 a page? You are kidding!!! read more

So I went to the UPS store on Saturday to a live scan and I got there at like 255 with no appointments. Apparently you have to have an appointment. I did not know that I drove from Tucson Arizona to get the live scan and Danielle was so wonderful. She took me without an appointment. She worked really hard to make sure I was able to get the live scan and she was so nice. I was having one of those days and she just was amazing. I am so thankful. Then on Monday she called to follow up just to make sure everything was good and she wanted to make sure everything went through. read more

If I could, I would give this store negative stars!! I've been to this location many times and every time Greg has helped me, he was so rude and uninterested. I'm only leaving this review because i genuinely think he has terrible customer service and this store is always unwelcoming. Each time I have came in, I've had simple questions or returns and I was met with rude, snarky, and condescending responses and comments. Multiple times he talked over me, rolled his eyes, and acted like I was wasting his time. His sarcastic and snooty attitude was beyond unprofessional and honestly very offensive. Customer service like this is unacceptable. I'm surprised this place is even allowed to run with how they treat their customers! This UPS location is a prime example of why UPS should not let everyone franchise and open individual locations. This store gives UPS a bad name. I normally always go to the UPS Store on Jamacha because the staff there is amazing. Everyone is always smiling and happy and they don't nickel and dime you. Occasionally I'll head to avocado location. When I have to come to this location because of pure convenience since it's on my way to work, I always laugh when I leave because it's amazing how the owner can get away for some of the crap he tries to charge for. It's 2025, what do you mean you want to charge $2.50 to tape up each package?? lol people come to UPS so they can drop off their packages and have them taped up. I have not seen any UPS store, let alone mail services stores these days charge for TAPE. (Don't even get me started on all the BS about the Amazon returns lol) Also, the staff that work here are always miserable and look like they literally hate their job. I've never had an issue with this location's employees but if your google website says it's closing at 7 pm and I show up at 6:07pm and the doors are locked already, that wastes my time and energy. I had to cancel and process my return for Amazon to kohls, wasting even more of my time. This business can do better. And update your google. read more

I needed to return an Amazon package, and this UPS store happened to be open still around the time I was available. This store is located inside Vons. I'm rating this location 2 stars because their customer service is horrible. UPS is a pack and ship store. The item I was returning is through Amazon, so I had the appropriate packaging except the box wasn't taped. The lady, Grace, was giving my fiancé a hard time that the box needed to be taped. He kindly asked her for tape, but she told him he needed to tape it himself. He then asked her if she could provide the tape so he could do it himself. Grace refused. My fiancé had to go buy packaging tape at Vons and tape the box before Grace accepted it. It's crazy how the bare minimum is such an inconvenience for a store that "packs, tapes, and ships" items. I've been to other UPS locations to return my Amazon packages and with no issues did the employees tape my box for me without any hassle or hesitation. In a nutshell, I highly don't recommend this location if you're dealing with Amazon return products. Just bad overall. read more

This is a great business overall. Gregory and Mario are just so nice and Grace has been a lot nicer than she was when I first started coming here. Today I noticed that they sold stamps. I asked the young lady helping me if the stamps were the same price one would pay at the post office and she said yes; but when I got home I realized I had paid an up-charge of $4.80 on a book of stamps. :-( I should've been more careful and done the math on the price but I also believed her when she told me they were the same price. But they close earlier than this location so I came here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Gregory was super friendly and helpful. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. Long waits, short staffed. Notary never shows up during notary hours. We waited 2.5 hours for notary to arrive. Then when he arrived, he was the only person working the counter. We had to sign docs in between him servicing other customers. Other customers waited over 30-45 min for service. Unfair notary prices. He charged $300 and concealed the fact that he had a $200 flat rate. We are suing for unfair business practices. I've used this store to send packages and limited staff and long waits are common occurrences. read more

I got a Live scan service here today and it was a very pleasant experience. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and value customers as soon as you ask for assistance. The process was very fast because they have accesible equipment ready. Additionally, my girlfriend was able to drop off some packages conveniently. I was in the UPS store in Vons on avocado Boulevard yesterday, September 13. I had gone into Vons to get my flu shot. I went over to the UPS store to return some items to Amazon as I approached the gate to the UPS store were 3/4 closed, the owner manager of the property was standing out in front speaking to another customer. I guess I walked up and I said are you open and it was between 330 and 4 o'clock that I was there and he said no we don't open back up till 5 PM. I just called the UPS store and he said he was open yesterday which he lied anyway I will not be going back to that store. read more

Called in advance to confirm location had a notary available. Kept me waiting with no other customers for about 10 minutes then sent only other employee on lunch while he acted like he would be helping me. Had me sign the copy of the form then basically told me he would not complete the Positive Proof Identification And Notary Signature Affidavit. Was way to worried about other paperwork I was sending that had nothing to do with him. Said he would have to verify all of those signatures as well as the text of the paperwork. Wasted 20 minutes of my time and of course had a line waiting because he had sent the other employee on break so made me wait while he helped other customers. Luckily I had a second copy of the form I needed to sign in front of the notary with me because I went down the street to another UPS store where they helped me, one signature, one charge, did not question or worry about the other paperwork I was not presenting them to review. I came into this UPS store looking for a professional print, and I was warmly greeted by Gregory. As soon as I walked in, Gregory came to assist me and was very easygoing, helpful, and kind. I told him what I wanted, and he helped me throughout the whole process and answered any questions I had. The whole process was extremely fast, and the outcome was absolutely beautiful. After getting my first professional print and hanging it up in my home, I came back to the UPS store, where Gregory once again politely greeted me and worked with me again to create more professional prints-all of which turned out great! Today, 8/3/2022 @ approx 5:30pm I went into this UPS location to drop off some packages. Two of them were insured packages and I came with the appropriate forms. The manager Grace Gonzalez refused to sign them. They are official UPS forms printed from the UPS site when I printed the shipping labels. The document clearly states that the UPS representative or driver is to scan the package and are to print their name, sign and date my copy and attach the second copy to the packages. Grace refused and said she doesn't sign any forms. I attempted to educate her and she became increasingly rude and disrespectful. Eventually she put 2 very different scribbles on the 2 different forms and handed me back the documents. I again informed her the additional forms are to go with the packages themselves, she said she has no way of knowing which papers go with which package. Again, these are official UPS forms with the package and shipping info. When I mentioned that she failed to print her name and date in the designated areas, she told me to do it myself and she hid her name tag. After finally getting her name, she refused her last name, she threw my documents to the side. I have had this same problem with this same employee before. The last time she made me wait 45min until a driver showed up and he explained to her that she just needed to inspect the package and sign. Apparently she is the manager at this location. Can the district manager or someone else please educate this manager about how to handle official UPS documents and a training on customer service please. read more

Today I had a bad experience dealing with long wait and dealing with Gregory who you would think woke up on the wrong side of the bed I know it maybe early for some people but it's business hours he was not informed on how Amazon return labels work and that ups packs and ships them with the we code they provide I explained to him as well and he was just not having it such a big issue on where he wanted to sell me a box but I explained Amazon is the one paying , someone should show him how to get this done so a future customer (obviously not me ever again) gets this done and doesn't have to drive another city because that's the next UPS store that is nearby went to La Mesa and they handled it right away read more
