I came in close to noon on a Monday, expecting a huge wait. Although it wasn't quite as busy as I expected, there was a line going, with about seven customers. Despite it being a small local postal service, it was run SO efficiently. The service I received was the type of service I would expect at a major post office location. While waiting in line, they began assisting me, asking me what I needed and finding the correct forms for me to fill out BEFORE reaching the open attendant. This made the process SO quick, and I was out of there in ten minutes. All of the workers were very pleasant, and were actually returning smiles to all of the customers. Great service! read more

Honestly terrible and a huge waste of my time. I came to this location 4 consecutive business days in a row to turn in my US passport application, and was turned away every time. Initially it was for the completely valid reason of incorrect paperwork, but the other 3 times the same two women kept giving me different reasons why they wouldn't accept it for the day. The hours and days that are listed on the US government website are "wrong" according to them, and it was a different story every time. Ended up going to the Norwalk post office and having it taken care of in 10 minutes. read more

I'm all about supporting the post office but every time I drop off mail with tracking information or have them pick up the items by online request half the time the packages don't get scanned and go missing? people with small or big online business just be aware about 4-5 packages go missing a week and never scanned, my suggestion is if you still support the post office go to a different postoffice so you don't have to pay twice for shipping and lose money on resending the items to your customers. read more

This post office is terrible, I try not to come here at all, EVER! But I had a friend ship some gifts from Vegas over to my kids, and the substitute mail carrier left it on my "door step" and of course the package was misplaced. When I tried to talk to a supervisor more than once i just got the runaround. When I finally spoke to the "temporary" supervisor he basically said their is nothing he can do, he gave me a number to call, it's just sad that they get away with what ever they want. I have never encountered any issues with this post office and hopefully it remains that way. I have a po box here and the process of getting one was extremely simple. The staff members are pleasant and parking is simple. It is typically very busy whenever I stop by but they try to move the line as quickly as they can. Today I stopped by to mail off some packages and the sign stated that starting today [April 1st] hours of operation are being extended until 5:30 pm on weekdays and 4:30 pm on Saturday. I knew the post office closes at 2 pm on Saturday and walked in about 1:45-1:50 pm. However despite the sign they still locked the door at 2 pm and closed up shop once all the remaining customers were checked out. I thought I must have misread the sign but as I exited I stopped and read it and sure enough effective today. Maybe it was just an April's Fool joke. Haha funny, Mr. Postman! read more

The issue I have is sometimes when they put a new mail carrier on my route to deliver mail, they always say they never have access to my apartments so how do I always receive my mail but not packages. The mail man always comes in the AM and never has a problem. Yesterday the guy came super early but I received a email saying my package was out for delivery so that means this mail guy did not have my package it was another mail carrier. Well at 5:40pm they said they attempted to deliver my package which was a lie. The gate is always opened and I was home all day they were just to lazy to either come in. I only come to this location for the drop off box in the parking lot. I've gone in before and the lines are normally long, even if it's not close to the holidays. If you don't need to go inside, your best bet is the drive-thru or using self-service options. read more

My only complaint is that they don't answer the phone. So due to this, I had to go in but I'm glad I did. I was trying to locate a package that had been attempted to be delivered but due to the business being closed, it wasn't. I was afraid it'd get sent back to the sender but with the help of an employee and the supervisor, they were able to locate my package and I walked out with it in hand! I lived in a senior complex where the apartment numbers are the same except for the first digit indicating the floor. I have informed delivery and over the past year mail that I was told was coming never arrived. Several times my neighbor downstairs got my mail and brought it to me. Lately, mail was supposed to be delivered I have not received. If it went to my Trump-supporting neighbor upstairs, too bad for me. Service from this post office has been deteriorating lately. 1/15/16 - another upsetting update International package was due to be delivered to my office 1/11 - delivery attempted after hours. Note left 1/12 - I found the note and rescheduled delivery for 1/13 (fastest available date online) 1/13 - package does not show up 1/14 - package does not show up again (tracking shows only "redelivery scheduled" 1/15 - I call before the carrier usually drops off and customer service advises it should have been delivered the 13th. They confirm if I don't pick up the package by the 16th (Saturday) that it would be shipped back to the sender. I couldn't do that since we do not open Saturdays and I'm sure the package would be too big to leave in the box. I confirm the package is at Bellflower Post Office. -I then called the Bellflower Post Office directly. When I asked why it wasn't delivered, the lady flatly told me she doesn't know and that it probably didn't go through. What was my online redelivery confirmation then? She confirms it is at the post office -Carrier delivers as normal, no package. -I go to the post office and the front isn't staffed for easily 5 minutes at a time while all 15 of us waiting can audibly hear them fraternizing and joking around loudly in the back. I am told 2-3x my package isn't there even though I confirmed earlier that it was in their possession. ...Oh it is with the carrier. Incorrect. Oh it may be with a "special" delivery carrier. Nope. Suddenly the package appears out of thin air. What the fuck. Really. The post office itself is mediocre. Usually I get a stoic greeting but get out of there within about 30 minutes. What is maddening is that they don't answer their phone. It just rings for all eternity. What is the point of having a phone then? Our normal mail carrier Renee is AWESOME. He's friendly and reliable. No complaints at all. The fill-in carrier however is a NIGHTMARE. I can't count how many times he didn't fulfill the scheduled pick up for our packages inside, always making some excuse. He'd be on his personal phone all the time.. when we'd say hello he'd just look at us.. throw boxes in our hallway.. just the worst. He got mad I managed to get through to the post office once and complained about the above. Over time, it improved but... Today, he managed to leave 26 pieces of mail in our mailbox belonging to 3+ more neighboring businesses... 26!!!!!! It's a stack 3 inches high.. I suppose he expects me to do his job and redistribute. He also had a package to deliver for me and did not. Tracking shows out for delivery, then back to the Bellflower post office. Come on... Given we are at a business park, we all need to keep the flow of money going and having checks and invoices come to the wrong address can incur fees, confusion, etc. I found a supervisor's direct line and when I told her about it, she said "ok" as if this is totally normal. Not even a sorry.. she just said she'd have my regular carrier check. Check WHAT? The question isn't if the mail is actually here, it's about the absolutely obvious incompetency. This is the worst post office I have ever been to. I only come here because it's near my job. I basically waste my lunch hour here because they are so slow on purpose and their line is super long. It's not even the holidays and they always have the longest line with only 3 clerks working. They take their time, don't smile at all, don't look at you while they help you, and only say a thank you as you are turning around to leave. Also parking is horrible! read more

I have moved from this location, and still they are horrible, I had a packaged that I wanted delivered to the amazon lock box in bell flower @ a 7-Eleven, of course, it never made it there, who knows why, because any other lock box location my package has made it to the lock box, but of course the package shows it made it to the bell flower location, but of course it never made it out. They never answer their phone, which in itself is ridiculous. It rings and rings, and there is no attempts made to answer it. The level of inconvenience of that alone is astounding. Furthermore, trying to talk to any of the so called adults who work there is infuriating. Something that should be a quick, easy task, is somehow made into a complicated, time-consuming, and upsetting task. And that's not bringing up the fact they have 1 to 2 people working, even when there's over 20 people in line, and multiple associates in the back laughing and screwing around. i have lived in belllowe around the corner from this post office if you are just buying a stamp or mailing a simple package , they can do the job but if you need more than the basic "thought" the management team has no clue what to do , they have a job because the pay their UNION FEES , not because they qualified or have customer service . only a few know what they are doing. and the schedule is only for people that have no jobs , again because they are lazy. read more

first time having to actually go to the post office yesterday. I had a package delivered to me but the sender forgot to add the unit number so I rushed to the post office & made it there with in 5 minutes of closing time. Sadly the mailman that delivered to our area didn't make it back to the post office by the time they were closing. Jason Lopez that was assisting me wrote a note for the delivery guy to put my package aside, hoping that he'll see it before he throws it in the return to sender pile. Awful! I've been a resident in this city for my whole life (over 50 years!) Over the last few years, service has gone way downhill. They never answer their phones, the clerks are rude, the supervisors are downright bullies, and I've had 2 mis-deliveries just this week. An important package was delivered to someone else, necessitating a supervisor to go retrieve my package from 2 blocks down the road and re-deliver it to me. The other package is gone - never delivered, in spite of a tracking number stating that it was. Really disappointing. read more
