I went there to send something that I sold on eBay. As I walked in, I grabbed a water bottle that was marked $2.50. Well, she had me email the QR code to the email for the store. It ended up that they were unable to do it, which is fine because honestly, there's a post office less than a mile down Somerset right past Garfield , but I was flabbergasted when the woman attempted to charge me to print out my QR code, which I never asked for she tried to charge me $10 for print out of a piece of paper one I didn't need by the way so when I refuse to pay that because I didn't want it nor did I ask for it she turned around and charged me $10 for the two dollar water bottle I drink despicable behavior unprofessional to say the least I left their feeling robbed sir would you like some cookies? Would you like some cookies no problem you too. Let me see where they are though. I know I'm not living right cause that just gives a shit out of me man. Customer service here was fine the girl who attended us was nice. BUT here is where they dropped the ball. The girl who assisted us was well aware that envelope we were mailing was an urgent package. Unfortunately here they did not offer Express Priority so we went ahead and just mailed out Priority which she mentioned would take about 2-3 days. In my own experience it usually takes 2 days. This package label was printed out on Saturday at around 12:20pm at the rate of $13.50. Post office did not receive our package for mailing until Wednesday and scheduled delivery was Friday, 8:00pm. Had I known this place was going to hold onto our package for 5 days I would have personally dropped of my package at the post office which is literally right up the street from them. So the 2-3 days delivery time frame took double the time of 6-7 days. So if you have something urgent don't go here to get it done. read more

Since we disconnected our landline I no longer have access to a fax machine. When I had to fax some documents in a hurry I wanted to find somewhere reliable and would not charge me an arm and a leg. Thanks to Yelp I was able to find that Happy Mailbox was the cheapest around. So I headed over and was assisted by a friendly girl (I didn't catch her name). She made sure my fax was sent and even asked for my email to send me an email confirmation. The fax was one dollar a page, which saved me some cash. Happy Mailbox offers many other services besides fax, including office supplies, copying, shipping, notary, fingerprinting, and p.o. boxes. They are conveniently located on the corner of Paramount Blvd. & Somerset Blvd. with a small parking lot for the small strip mall. I'm not from the area but I'm assuming this is as cheap as it gets. Also the people working here were very nice and accommodating. Just a tip: this is the only fedex center in paramount. I'm inbetween jobs and decided to visit home in California for a few weeks to ship some of my belongings back to NYC. I noticed that Happy Mailbox was a brand new store and walked in-- BEST DECISION EVER So I had some tennis rackets and a bunch of other very heavy items like old text books that I might need shipped... The people working were SOOOO helpful with taping up my boxes and really taking care of the details so I didn't have to. They also basically broke down all the shipping options to let me know which would be the cheapest and most reliable way to get my packages out there and I had no problems. ON TOP OF THAT, they directed me to their YELP page and let me know about the coupon so that I could save some $$$$$. They seriously could have made so much money off of me by not telling me!!! Like I said, I am 1 year out of grad school and inbetween jobs so everything helps. I also had a lot of work to do at staples center and decided to do it here--mostly faxing CV's and printing out my CV's on quality resume paper. The guy there helped me with all the formatting because the way I had typed it up on WORD for some reason wasn't translating very well. Unless you are driving down Somerset Bl. towards Paramount Bl. getting in can be a bit tricky, especially due to the limited parking in the private lot, but there is parking on the street. Happy Mailbox also provides, live scanning, notary public, fingerprint, passport photo, computer/internet access, mailbox rental, fax and copying all in one convenient location. They also ship domestic and international. Good for those in a rush or that need to get things accomplished in a short period of time. They also have boxes and provide tape if you need it. I forgot to ask if walk-ins were ok but I figured I'd just walk in and find that out - I didn't need an appointment after all, so that was great. When I got there I was greeted by Glenda and the woman who did my prints Kyung helped me out pretty fast. I just filled out my form, we confirmed my info, did the prints then I paid. It was so fast, easy and convenient. Would def recommend this location to anyone needing LiveScan services. I sent a fax to Mexico just yesterday and it went through, now from Mexico they were trying to send me a fax to this dam place and the whole time they kept saying they weren't receiving anything. They first gave me one number, then they gave me a second, and then a third. What the hell. It's not possible that 3 fax numbers are not working. But I only chose it because it have 18 reviews and mostly 5 stars. IMPRESSIVE! So I told the guy I think his name is either Mario or Donnie... (sorry! Again, waited too long to write this, but the name was DEFINITELY "Mario"... but also could have been "Donnie"...) but I told him that I just needed to mail a letter. And instead of charging my card [I don't carry cash] the $0.35 debit card fee on top of the $0.50 it cost to send, he waived the cost and told me to just give another great review on Yelp. I'm getting charged for a late rental because I trusted who I believe is the owner. I had two return slips for multiple rental books for the same address. Now I'm getting charged and there is no way to prove I sent it! I wanted to just buy two separate boxes for each label just to be safe, but the owner insisted I only pay for one box and only use one return label. Now one of them isn't accounted for and there is no way I could prove to Amazon it has been sent to the carrier before the due date with the others!!! I will give Amazon a few more days and hopefully it gets accounted for and processed. Everyone there was friendly and helpful as well as speedy, and I was given the option to either stay and wait for confirmation or to have it emailed to me.
