I hate how more and more PO facilities are closing, and we're stuck with limited options. To further exhaust that, they're understaffed and operating on a skeleton crew, even during peak hours due to layoffs. It's a bad situation all around. And the Lynwood location is one of the better ones. The staff is always nice, but they surely take their time. The service I received on the phone was extremely rude. I called to inquire about a package being delivered to the wrong address, but the lady I spoke with was incredibly rude and raised her voice unnecessarily. Please train your employees to be more polite and understanding when answering calls. If they can't handle a simple call like that, they aren't made for that job. read more

Nick makes this post office amazing! He needs to be paid more very patient very helpful and always a pleasure to have him help me out. Unlike other post offices most workers are lazy and not helpful here they do their best in my opinion. Only downside is they can be short staffed at times but if you want good service come here. read more

I only go to Nicks window when I walk inside! He's the Asian guy next to the exit. He's nice, welcoming, and patient. Which is very rare to experience when interacting with the post office staff. 99.9% of their employees are rude as hell. read more

I have been coming to this post office for several years always been treated, respectively, and I appreciate your hard work and professionalism, but I've noticed over the years people have negative feedback regarding POST OFFICE workers well to begin with overwhelmed with more population more people that don't understand the system and so forth so my message to you people get on the website to know more about what the post office employees are now going through educate yourself regarding the POST OFFICE and Employees. This location has the worst customer service... when to pick up a package and got exactly at 5pm almost closing bUt I saw some people inside and they were still helping them ... HOURS: the PO boxes are open until 6. NOT the "retail" side. They actually close at 5 like all other usps locations. Drove down here today to find this out. If you're running late to the post office and have send something before the day ends, go to another carrier or just save it for another day! read more

Hi have been living in.lynwood for over 40 yrs and the service from the lynwood post office have gone extremely down..starting with the carriers constantly delivering mail to the wrong address..i continually have to walk my neighbors mail over to them and also when im expecting a package and tracking it to be delivered on a certain date..here it is..im getting a message from the online tracking site that a delivery was attempted and a notice was left....i have a video door bell..which clearly never showed a carrier even approaching my property to attempt to deliver..now what if it was something of the sort like vital meds or medical equipment i had been expecting and desperately needed..its been times when i never received my package at all and received a "DELIVERED" message and again..my video doorbell never showed a carrier even delivering my package...the post office needs to re-train and hold their carriers accountable for doing a noble job read more

SO MANY EXCUSES THEY MAKE! I've been living in Lynwood for a year and in the beginning they didn't give us our mail because we didn't have a mailbox so a few weeks later we got a mailbox and we didn't have any problems about our mail. We've had this dog living in our front house for 4 months and the mailman would always turn in our mail and packages but recently 1 month ago they stopped turning in our packages because apparently of a dog issue even though he's always tide up so i went to USPS to pick up a package and they just tell me "you need to move your mailbox to the front". Made no sense because our mailbox is already near the front but anyways I went back almost every week to pick up mail and packages but they seem to get tired of me coming and told me that "if the mailbox is not in the front, we won't be turning in your mail". VERY RUDE! Because they don't need to enter our house to put in the mail but now they just won't give our mail so it's so frustrating. I prefer FedEx over this Post Office. read more
