Not gonna lie... The service that I've received at this post office has always been and remains 1st rate! It's excellent! From handling my larger than average parcels to be delivered to getting our passports processed, it's been spectacular! So why the 2 star rating? Location that's why. This post office USED to be conveniently located on the corner of Westchester Parkway and Airport Blvd.. It was glorious and super convenient to dip in and out of there especially when the drive thru mail boxes were there. Now you're almost getting creamed by fast moving traffic or blocked by semi trucks. It's a real mess now. I blame the postmaster general for this mess. Way to go Louis DeJoy! Your pendejadas are our inconvenience. Ya ni la friegas wey. Overall: I rarely come here now. It's only when I have huge orders that need special attention for my customers, and say hello to the great staff there. I'll just adapt. Peace. read more

Passport department on 8821 Aviation Blvd, Inglewood,CA. Came to this location to apply for my passport. Already outside waiting, I was greeted by an employee Ms. Vivian. She was so sweet & helpful even before she was starting her shift, as she was waiting to get inside. Once it opened she once again came to help me & guided me through the process to make it as smooth as possible to get in & out. The other ladies were nice & friendly as well, but Ms. Vivian was going above & beyond!!! Thank you Ms. Vivian, keep doing what you're doing, keep being joyful & full of jokes! First time at this Post Office, it was nice, modern/updated looking. The ladies behind the counter had attitude though. Major attitude. I came to buy 4 stamps, mail 4 post cards, and 1 package. Pricing for everything less than $15. Fortunately I had everything ready when approaching the lady behind the counter. If you weren't ready or didn't have things together they would tell you get back in line when you had it together. Like 3 people got sent back before me. No long wait. Quick in & out. read more

They are always so patient with the senior citizens and so incredibly helpful if people have questions, especially Kiki! There were friendly employees and the counter was covered acrylic/plastic across the entire counter. There were several patrons inside but not a long line at all. Came to this US post Passport office which is located in the second floor, the Passport postal employees Bobby,Caroline, Vivian are wonderful very, very friendly,helpful & respectful they are awesome. I brought my nephew to get his passport a couple of weeks ago,Bobby explained we had missing documents he was able to guide us how to go about this situation & on Tuesday we came back & we where able to submit the application for the. passport thanks to the great work & help from Bobby,Caroline & Vivian I highly recommend this post office if you want Excellent high-quality service to renew or get a new passport this office gets a 5+ star. Kiki is such an incredible USPS employee! She's one of the most hospitable, polite, and knowledgeable customer service experts I've encountered in all my visits to the post office. She really helped me figure things out efficiently and kindly. I had to send over 10 packages, and her attitude stayed positive and helpful the entire time. Parking is easy, there's always a few windows open, and the line moves fairly quickly. The place is very clean too, the gentlemen sweeping around the facility also wiped down counters and cleared trash in places there was trash. Him and Kiki were so funny and nice! I came Thursday late afternoon and was really impressed. Thank you USPS! I wish I lived closer because this would be my preferred location! read more

Horrible service. I went to this post office in March. None of the tables had the certified mail slips. Also, all the chains (attached to the desks) were missing the pens. So I get in line and I ask the lady at the window for a certified mail slip. Then I ask: "All the pens are missing from the desks, do you have a pen?" Her response: "Yes I have a pen how else would I do my job." So I'm wondering if she is being serious or joking around. So I ask her if I could borrow a pen and she handed me a pen. Then she tells her coworker: "Did you hear what I told him, I said of course I have a pen, how else am I going to do my job." This worker was being completely rude. So I fill out the form and I get back in line. I asked for a piece of tape because the adhesive was coming off on the envelope flap. She says: "You are being really needy today aren't you? You didn't come prepared at all." Really? So there are no certified mail slips at the tables... I'm unprepared? All the pens are missing from the chains... I'm unprepared? BTW, when I was in line, she was being totally rude and condescending to another customer as well. This lady just needs to be fired. I had to drop off a prepaid shipping box. Line wasn't long when I arrived. I was next in line when I found out I could have gone straight to the machines to scan my item and get a confirmation receipt. I opted for the window anyway since I don't know how to operate the machines yet. The lady behind the window was nice enough to help me anyway rather than send me off to the machine. read more

I have always had good service at this new location. The workers are patient when I pick out commerative stamps or ask a question about how to send something registered. I am sorry the location was moved, but that should be part of the rating. I save my mail for a once-a-week trip. My big complaint is that Aviation Blvd is so torn up and miserable to drive on. At least the old location had drive-up mail slots. There are zero here. The same unpleasant attitudes among the union members made the move. It's like "I'm a non-fireable federal worker, so you shut up and know YOU ARE ON MY PROPERTY, NOT AMERICAS". When mail didn't show up, I'd go to the bigger office and the attitude was the same. After going to Santa Monica seventh Street post office and being turned down for the fifth time. I gave up and came to the airport on aviation post office and was in and out within 15 minutes. They were super helpful. They handled everything professionally and appropriately were Santa Monica doesn't know their ass from their elbow. I'll be leaving a review about next, but I couldn't have had a better experience here. I'm so eternally grateful after going through a nightmare at Santa Monica. read more

This is regarding the passport office. We will never return to this office even if it's the last passport acceptance office on earth. Our experience was absolutely horrendous. We had an appointment and were treated like dogs when submitting our passport paperwork for our two minor children. The employees in that office should not be employed in any professional business environment. They are rude, unhelpful and impatient. Needless to say, we were turned away from the appointments and forced to reschedule. Please do not use this office to receive your passports. There are much better places in the city of Los Angeles. Only post office that has walk ins for passports with their walk in hours 9-1 on a Saturday. Went on a Saturday @ 11:30am and was told I had to be there at 8:30 am to receive a ticket to be assisted. So we were refused service, even though she was taking the last person that was waiting before we walked in at 11:30 am. The post office has horrible customer service. read more

1/13/04 I have not had mail delivered in 3 days this week. The one day I was supposed to receive a package, it was marked as delivered and was not at my door 2 mins after the delivery time. So it was never delivered. I have never lived anywhere where mail is delivered after 8pm..especially when I have to keep the front door to the building open, because they don't have a key. I am so sick of this piss poor mail delivery system and these carriers who deliver the mail or steal it. read more

Not sure why all the reviews are terrible. It's not the grandest location but every time I've gone there's always plenty of parking, reasonable amount of time in waiting (if any) and at least 4 windows open. They are also always suggesting and offering to help with the self service kiosk. Lastly, the employees here aren't over enthusiastic I would say but they're always polite, efficient and will help offer solutions/ more affordable options. read more

I've came to this place of business on multiple occasions, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Not all the staff, but about half of the staff needs to be re-trained in Customer service. To be quite honest with you some of the staff members will go off on you for apparently no reason and I get it they may be overwhelmed but if you're a repeat customer and you know the ins and outs of shipping then what's the point of making a person feel like they're incompetent when clearly that Person knows what's going on it's just said there's a miscommunication as far as the staff is concerned. I came here 1-10-22 and they helps me fill out the application to renew my passport and y got a letter in the mail to bring to them here and I came today 3-3-22 so they can fix the problem and guess what the lady at door said they don't like to help us with this renew application because then when something goes wrong we blame staff for helping us. First of all I think they gave a job because of us coming here to get our services done and they are working a a public office so they here to help the public and they are getting pay for this from all of us. read more

I've definitely had my complaints about many a post office but this one is fire. Seems like a newly built one. The business hours are flexible, lots of windows so there's not some massive line to the door. The agents are chill, efficient and knowledgeable. Parking lot is big. The three ladies that were working today were absolutely wonderful! I went to 4 different passport offices in LA trying to walk in but everyone turned me away because of how crowded they were. At this location they told me to come back in 2 hours and when I did they had me take a number and once they called me it was so fast and efficient, and gave a good price.
