Well...I was there and regardless that EVERYWHERE you advertise your hours : M-F 9am -5 pm , at 9 am when I was there ? A girl start yelling at me, from inside through the window, telling me you guys open at 11. I faxed you attaching my maps history showing the time and the fact that I was there . Here is the issue : my husband went late to work that day to give me a ride there . I can't ask him to take a day off ( as at 11 am , with the trip there and back , his work day is almost gone !) to give me a ride mam'! AGAIN! We have bills to pay. So for this reason and not only , I also mentioned that in the fax I sent: please (!!!!) mail that package to my address : 2023 S Corning St. , Apt. 7 , Los Angeles , Ca 90034 . Please do that and will comeback here and give you a great review as you deserve if you understand the situation and realize : Is not my fault ! I was there ! The hours? Every place I looked says 9.00am . You don't know only when you are the door that you are open at 9 yet not for packages ! I never heard that one ! You can imagine how I felt , seeing I made my husband go late to work , drive more then an hour to reach there ( rush hour right ? ), for nothing ! I tried to explain to that girl and she was yelling at me , showing me some schedule on the door. She didn't let me say a word! I left extremely disappointed and....yeah ....so please! I have been trying to resolve an issue since early November, and it's been a long and frustrating process with no resolution in sight. My mother-in-law sent a birthday package to her son from Italy, ensuring it would arrive before November. However, my husband waited, and nothing arrived. Upon checking, the tracking information showed that it had been delivered, but to the wrong address-- a large box! The post office claimed they had retrieved the package and placed it in the "back" area, and my husband was told he could pick it up. When he arrived, the package was no longer there. Only certain employees have access to the "back room." One employee, named CHRISTIAN, told my husband to sign a receipt acknowledging the package had been received and promised it would be delivered the next day. My husband complied, but, of course, the package never arrived. Makes me question if Christian knows what happened to the package or took advantage of my Husband's anxious attempt to get his package to sign off any fault. This all happened on November 7th. Since then, we've been calling, visiting, and emailing everyone I could find in hopes of resolving the issue, but nothing has worked. The manager, Shanice Adams, did attempt to help, but in the end, there was no resolution. She issued a letter accepting fault, but I can never reach anyone for follow-up. At this point, we have no choice but to visit our local Post Office, but I am deeply disappointed in the service we've received in Inglewood. These kinds of issues highlight the broader geographical disparities and inequalities that certain areas suffer from, and unfortunately, our local Post Office seems to be the worst example of this. If anyone has any suggestions or advice, I would greatly appreciate it. I just want to get this resolved. Moreover, I am unable to file a claim online as the package was sent from Italy. My Mother-in-Law can't file a complaint because the package is marked as delivered. read more

Strongly dislike having to come here because will call customer service is a drag. It doesn't seem as though they have a designated representative to handle will call. I came yesterday just before 3 and no one ever came to the door, I only seen one woman pushing mail, so I thought you know what I'm not going to be that last minute customer, and if there's only one employee here, it's fine I'll come tomorrow. I got here at about 12:50pm today, rang the bell and waited 5 minutes, another customer came, rang the bell then walked over to there loading dock to get someone's attention. He was told someone would be right out we waited another 15-20 minutes until a usps employee (Alan, possibly Latino with long braids/dreads) came out to ask if anyone had assisted us, we stated "no" and he immediately took the initiative to respond to our questions/concerns, and also provide solutions. I've worked in customer service for 15+ years and this is definitely the type of service I look for, and praise. This is the worst post office annex center in the world. You have to wait on the outside of a locked glass door until the representative buzzes you in. The sign states only 2 pepple at a time. This place is open from 11:00am to 3:00pm. The service hours aren't for a person works a 9 to 5. There is only one slow person who works in the mail pick up, deliveries , etc.. department. There is always a line outside of the door. I waited about 20 minutes on my lunch break and had to leave because I didn't want to loose my job. One gentleman stated he has been waiting for 40 minutes. Smh. Come on USPS. That's why your loosing business to other small entity. read more

I got a pink slip for a failed delivery attempt w a signature, the slip says their hours are M-F 8-5pm. I drove all the way here after work at 3300 and they're closed at 3...they're closed at 3 everyday... why are they handing out slips with false information? Items are not being delivered and are being marked as "customer request/locker full" even though my mailbox is EMPTY and I never have authorized for any type of special request to be made. Just wanted to update that I never received a call back regarding my mail box key. How exactly am I supposed to get my mail....

If 0 (zero) stars was an option I would've selected that. For the past year my business has not been receiving mail properly. Ever since Mr. Kevin (our regular carrier) left. We have mail from our neighbors and mail from other addresses and streets delivered. Some days we don't get mail at all. Today, September 25, 2015 we received mail with the yellow sticker saying "Unable to Forward" these are utility bills dated and mailed to us September 10, 11 and 12. Not to mention I gave the carrier out going local mail on Monday September 21 and it hasn't been delivered yet. WHAT ARE THEY DOING DOWN THERE? THIS IS HIGHLY UNACCEPTABLE! Typically I would give this location -5 stars if I could BUT Tiffany was a GEM! Her smile, adorable voice and willingness to help without an attitude made me smile. I went in on edge because I knew it was almost closing time but I also was bracing myself for rude customer service. Not the case at all. Tiffany usually works in the back but since the witch that oversee's the customer will call was on vacation, o was able to pick up my package with ease. Ahhh! This is the dreaded "INGLEWOOD CARRIER ANNEX," as listed online at USPS.com. My neighbors and I have had so many issues with this place. I have been in contact with them multiple times, and it has only led to frustration. (For example, the official USPS box that my building has did not have a lock on it for about a year, then after me bugging them it was finally replaced, but then they "lost" their key to it! So although residents could open it, USPS could not!) I feel bad for the carriers honestly because I think this was a problem caused by the Annex and their disorganization/miscommunications. read more

This place is the absolute worst! They never know where your package is! It's already bad enough that they only have one person working the front and only allow two people inside at a time. This delivery person refuses to deliver my packages to my house. This has happened several times. It is disgusting to get such terrible service. I have no idea why this delivery person keeps delivering my packages to another person's house and not my house. He must have a problem or maybe he just doesn't give a care. I a. Avoid having your mail go thru the Inglewood Carrier Annex AT ALL COSTS and if you can't avoid them, make sure your packages are insured! Since March, I've had 5 packages go missing. The first one was marked "out for delivery" but never showed up. The person at the annex called me to say "i'm sorry but it just disappeared." I filed a claim and even though the package was worth $250, it was uninsured so I only received $50. The next 3 packages all showed "delivered" when I tracked them. They were not delivered. I went to the annex and spoke to them each time, and then, as if by magic, they would call me a few days later to say they found the packages and they'd be delivered that day. The most recent package was marked "delivered." It was not delivered. I called the customer representative and he opened an investigation. A week later he called me to say that the package was indeed lost. He sent me a letter stating that the package was GEO Scanned as delivered to an address 1 block away from where it should have been delivered and that I should file a claim. Luckily, the sender of this package knows that the USPS likes to steal my stuff so he insured the package. I hope the carrier that stole my stuff loses their job soon. I opened a criminal investigation with the postal inspector and will probably go to file a report with Inglewood Police next week. read more

COVID delay and all that are very real and I respect that. This review is in no way a reflection of unforseen circumstances or even of the post office staff for that matter. I had my mail placed on hold for 28 days via the online process. Super simple automated process, I couldn't imagine an easier way for both the customer and po employees. Not to the manager of this location however who told me and another couple who had come to pick up their mail. He casually gave us all the excuses that the technology there is old and then made it seem like our fault as he said we should just come into the location to let someone know. You think they say that to folks in the Hills? I actually had a GREAT experience at the Inglewood Carrier Annex recently. I was trying to make sure all my mail was being delivered to my new address from Inglewood to Los Angeles. After having to go from one post office to the next (first L.A, then some other Post Office that doesn't deal with carriers, then finally the Inglewood Carrier Annex ), Steve @ the Inglewood Carrier Annex greeted me promptly, asked how my day was, and was courteous when I told him my day was kind of rotten due to my having to run around to find the correct Post Office. He took my information, told me his manager is the one with the authority to check on the status of my mail forwarding and that he'd contact me within the next few days. I was kind of surprised about having to wait a few days just to find out the status of the mail forwarding, but I thanked him and went back to my car. As I started the car up, I got a call. It was Steve, who'd just taken care of me at the​ post office! Maybe 5 minutes had passed. Steve said his manager(Ray?) checked and everything is good to go! Its disappointing and frustrating the USPS doesnt hold its local offices accountable. Seems nobody can be blamed for their unprofessional business practices. Our mail courier has been leaving mail on the porch steps the past few months, instead of placing it through the mail slot (like every courier has in the past 25 yrs of living at that house). I have attempted to contact the local office but nobody ever answers the phone. One occasion, we tried to place our mail delivery on hold while on vacation and mail was still delivered (ie left on steps). I mailed a package using 1 day priority and on the date of delivery it showed that my package was at the annex. That status has not changed for the past several days despite me having a tracking number. No one knows where my package is and it has not been delivered.
