Staff like her should be promoted so she can assist with training the others (see below). As for the other two postal clerks working the same shift (whose names I wish I'd noted--one may have been "Clerk 29"), they get **ZERO** stars. They were rude and snapped at me when I explained that the USPS online system indicated that postal staff would print the required form at the post office if I couldn't print it myself (not sure why a printout is required anyway given that my information was in the USPS online system, but that's a rant for another time). They also snapped at me because one of the documents I was presenting was not acceptable. The overall interaction felt hostile, like they were looking for a fight rather than helping a customer. I have empathy for employees who are tired and ready to clock out. But when this kind of behavior happens, it creates an unsafe environment for everyone. After working several government-level jobs, I also know that many employees stay in roles they don't enjoy because it's hard to leave (limited alternatives), and/or because union protections can make it difficult to hold people accountable--even when performance is not at the level it should be. This is not just a lost package--it's a full-scale exposure of corruption inside USPS. If bad actors are intercepting financial mail, this could be part of a much bigger fraud operation. This inside job should be exposed, fullly-investigated and under public scrutiny. My "SENSITIVE" mail got moved swiftly (within 3 minutes) from 90058 to 90045 and arrived 90045 within 3 hours. 90045 (Westchester, near LAX) is an international mail center. It has NOTHING to do with domestic Priority Express. 90052 (Los Angeles) is the correct mail hub for processing domestic mail--so why was it bypassed? Previously, I've received all my mail (including checks) from the same sender without issues, the most recent check received was Feb 2025--but the moment a cashier's check was sent, it mysteriously vanished after passing through USPS 90045. USPS Tracking #ER183435080US confirms it was in transit. USPS Informed Delivery showed it was scheduled for March 5, 2025 (this was an overnight package sent on the 4th of March). Delivery NEVER happened and being "INTERCEPT" at 90045 since March 4th 2025. WHY was this package rerouted to USPS 90045 Westchester location? This was mailed March 4th from USPS 90058 and scheduled for delivery March 5th, per my USPS Daily Digest. Instead of taking the direct route (90058 -- 90052 -- 91755), USPS bypassed 90052 (DTLA location) entirely and diverted it 90045 (Westchester near LAX). 90045 has NO reason to be in this route! There was NO REASON for it to be in 90045--especially for an expedited delivery. "USPS 90045 is geographically OUT of the way from the sender (90058) to the recipient (91755). Why did my cashier's check (overnight delivery) get routed to Westchester (near LAX) & mysteriously vanish? This post office has a history of sensitive documents going missing. Even worse, 90045 is notoriously known for mail theft-HUB and handling "sensitive" packages incompetently (just check their 1-star Google reviews). 90045's 5-star reviews smell FAKE, masking theft. #USPSFraud. WHO decided to reroute this package to 90045 and WHY? Investigation and accountability is long over due. This post office service was horrific. I always hated talking to the staff. They made everything only difficult for me. If this was the only post office I would tell everybody I know don't step one foot in that post office because you will only deal with satan's employees therefore you won't get anything you need. If you step inside I would tell them prepare for a huge war. They always gave me a hard time about taking my payment for my P.O. Box that I paid for there. The reason I no longer have a P.O. Box there is because every time I sent the payment from my bank account which was linked to my P.O. Box online account, they returned the payment three times in a row . Idk if this postwoman actually works at this location but, it is the nearest post office to my home and she did mention that this was her last route so I'm summing she reports back to the center. Horrible. Young woman, and she looks like she hates her job. I run a business on the side while working my full time job and require packages to be mailed out. I usually go to the post office myself but on the off chance I'm not able to, I wait for this lady every day to come to my building so while she's dropping off incoming mail, I can give her my outgoing mail (since we don't have a designated out going mailbox) Not only do I give her mail for my business but actual mail that needs to be mailed (ie: rent, auto mobile papers) not to mention the stack of "RETURN TO SENDER" mail I've been receiving for the past year from previous tenants in my unit. I'm at work till 4pm and have my business that I mail out orders for after work so this place has a lot of parking and it's pretty huge inside and open later than all other usps around me. This location closes at 6 versus 5. Mail person refused to deliver "oversized" international parcel to my building despite us having a secure parcel room, successfully submitting an online redelivery request saying to leave it there or my front door (first one down the hallway from the mailroom), and also signing off and putting back the pink slip back in my mailbox. Doing Both of these things has always worked when I've lived in other cities. Instead, whoever this is just circled her "must pick up" note that also directs me to THIS post office, which isn't even the closest or second closest post office to me. I'm absolutely baffled. This package was already held up for a week in customs, and now they fail to deliver 2 days in a row, have the audacity to be closed on Sundays in the year 2023 when all commercial competitors are open, and I have to go drive there and do their job for them. Today I visited the Westchester location on La Tijera (4/4/24 around 1:45-2pm). I originally came in to grab 2 change of address forms. I waited patiently in line. When the gentleman ahead of me was finished, I waited a few moments and then stepped forward. Immediately, I was reprimanded in a harsh tone by the Black Female Clerk to the far left with the auburn box braids and gray roots. She said loudly "Don't step up to the counter until I call you". I was taken aback by the nastiness in her tone, however I chose not to return it. I asked for the forms I needed, she gave them, I thanked her and returned to my car. I'd forgotten that I also had a package to ship off as well. I grabbed it from my car and reentered the building from the back door furthest from the entrance. As soon as I stepped foot inside, I could hear the same clerk raising her voice at a patron, berating them about the size of the box they had selected. When they misunderstood, she scoffed and repeated herself even more harshly and loudly. She spoke with absolute venom that echoed throughout the entire lobby. Other patrons noticed as well. I continued to make my way past the secondary door to wait in line. While I waited, I and others in line watched her rudely interact with an elderly woman who did not quite understand how to put together a box as she hadn't done it before. This clerk had zero kindness, patience, or courtesy to offer someone who had simply asked her to clarify. Instead, she snatched the box with a quickness from the elderly woman and says for all to hear, "This ain't UPS, I don't pack boxes. You gotta go to UPS for that, I'm not even supposed to touch your stuff." It made me greatly uncomfortable. Of all the times I've visited this location, I've never seen anyone spoken to this way. The elderly woman was visibly shaken by the treatment she'd just received. She was sent off by the clerk, told to get out line until she was ready. By this time, it was my turn. Another clerk (46) assisted me and the service was quick and pleasant. Once I finished my own transaction, I found the elderly lady and helped her myself. She had tears in her eyes and was visibly flustered because of the interaction. So, I took my time and explained the process to her, helped her write out her address, and taped the box for her. While doing this, the same rude clerk yells from behind the counter "Thanks for helping her cause I sure couldn't do it" with a condescending giggle. Nothing about this was funny. I did not acknowledge her. I got back into the line to wait with the elderly woman and brought the package up to the counter with her to be serviced. All she needed was a bit of patience. Instead she was met with rudeness unjustly. This woman ought to be ashamed of the way she treated an elder today. I witnessed it, other patrons, as well as her coworkers. She is a piss-poor representation of USPS Westchester. Her attitude was nasty, and her actions completely and utterly uncalled for. If she cannot interact with the public with a kind disposition, perhaps she should not have a public facing role. Whatever nastiness she brought in with her today should not be fall onto the people she is paid to help. Surely, the management at this location doesn't condone such behavior. read more

I rarely have terrible customer experiences but this is a location I will no longer give my business or support. If it wasn't for the great service recovery of Jeff, I would try to give them 0 stars and just write a review. Renee was horrible, rude, had no respect for herself or customers. I was nervous about my package as this facility has been responsible for theft of my $500 glasses recently that I am still in the process of but decided I would give them a chance again because it was the delivery person not the actual sales associates at the front desk, but I am convinced they need to do a huge fire and rehire of new energy and positive attitudes. Renee, whom I don't know outside of this experience tells me after I ask her to please take my package and not leave it unattended on the counter, "Girl, don't nobody want your package". It's unacceptable and unprofessional for workers to talk to customers like that. None of them greet guests, they have a lot of personal conversations and laugh with one another but will not crack a half smile with guests. This crappy USPS branch strikes again. Had an expensive package that requires SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION expecting to be delivered today. The tracking information says "Delivered at 11:15am". I was home at 11:15am. No one came. Because signature confirmation is required, the package could not have been delivered without someone signing for it. So where the hell is my package? I request a "Proof of Delivery" online, which is supposed to show a copy of the signature of the person who received the package. The "Proof of Delivery" shows a line written by the postman: "Delivered to Customer" WTF? They never delivered my package that required a signature. It's a written lie that the package was "Delivered to Customer." They are supposed to be obtain my signature, not write some bs LIE on the signature line. There is also no one in my residence named "G.T." They entered false information saying the package was signed by "G.T." I can't believe how unprofessional these mailmen are. I mean I get that you have a high volume of mail to deliver, but do you even care to do your job properly? THEE WORST! Don't trust them with your mail because you will either get it months later or not at all!

So let's start from the beginning shall we. I use the USPS daily digest and saw what mail was coming on Saturday June 12. I seen the letter addressed to my brother as certified and informed my mother that the letter she sent to him will be arriving today. It was a gift for his birthday so which was Monday June 14 so she wanted me to hide it. I didn't see anything else important on the app so I decided to wait until Monday morning to go grab it. I run down there and it wasn't in the mail box (mind you this is certified mail which I should of signed for but I'll get to that part). We also have a mail room in my apartments so I went there to search. Wasn't able to find the package (it's pretty messy in there). So I decided to come back during my lunch to check and I would be able to ask the front office if they dropped it off with them. So came back during lunch and they told me no haven't gotten any mail went back to the mail room still didn't find it. I called the automated system and it said the package was left at the front desk or in the mail room at 1:28 pm. I called the company who monitors the mail room 24 hours and no one left a package at that time. So on Tuesday morning I call USPS again and get in contact with an actual person (he was really nice and seemed like he cared) I explained what happened and he put in a complaint to the office. He was also the one who informed me about "covid signature" (what is a "covid signature"? It's basically the carrier could sign a package for you saying it was delivered to you!). He also told me to look out for a phone call in 1-3 business days. Which I received a phone call Friday evening from this location asking if I received my mail and I was like nope that's why I filed a complaint. She then proceeded to tell me she sent out someone to check and they didn't find anything and the person who delivered it is CONVENIENTLY on leave so she would reach back out Monday (like what was the point of this call). Any who while checking my email this morning I received a letter stating the matter was resolved and it was put in my mail box. Let me tell y'all the best part! Who ever delivered the mail put it in the wrong mail box and that person was nice enough to bring it down on Saturday June 19. So the reason for this epic review and the many other epic reviews I'll be leaving on every review posting site as well as tagging corporate on social media is because of the recklessness and carelessness of the people at this location.
