Meanwhile there is 3 customers in line and 2 employees at the counter tending to customers. I got off work early just to get there to send off a certified check that required a dated post mark and priority tracking. Nothing difficult, typically a 2-3 minute transaction and move on. So I went down the street to UPS store and had to pay a premium. Look, I'm not outta bounds here when I remind people that USPS isn't some independent retailer in our communities providing shipping services. They are a GOVERNMENT agency that should follow the basic rules of morals and ethics. At a minimum provide a "SERVICE" within there hours of operation!!! Is that too much to ask for? BTW i was only one of a half dozen customers being turned away and most of them let them know they were not thrilled about it!!! Shame on the mid 40's looking gentleman who identified himself as the supervisor for being disrespectful to those elderly women who were refused service that afternoon.

Despite explaining my situation, she refused to accommodate me. I returned at 11:00 a.m. and ended up waiting approximately two hours before my fingerprints were finally taken. While I was waiting, I asked Imelda if the person who takes fingerprints had arrived. She replied, "That's me," and explained that she hadn't been able to take me earlier because she needed to help other clients. I understand that other customers also need assistance, but I was a customer with a scheduled appointment. If appointments cannot be honored, then they should not be offered. I rearranged my work schedule and canceled a medical appointment based on the expectation that my scheduled appointment would be respected. This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that other customers do not have a similar experience in the future.

They did a great job at helping the line speed move adequately/efficiently. It was a clean location too! My review is not designed to disrespect the workers here whatsoever, I didn't catch an attitude after I was rejected my package request. This is a policy issue with fed ex. If clients have supporting evidence that's confirms sensitive information entailing their order, it should be considered verifiable so they can receive their package. I'm clearly stating the policy issue hurting clients more than helping. I've had bad experiences in the past: one being in some cases fed drivers inaccurately put incorrect reasons why a package is not able to be delivered. People as myself travel a far way, speak to so many people, do get rejected when there's enough supporting verifiable documentation is harming the quality experiences. It makes me not want to do business that have fed ex as a carrier, it's not anger this is strictly business. Hope their policies improve so customers aren't burdened with waisting valuable time that should be avoided.

I honestly do not know if it can ever get much higher than 3 stars because the overall system feels broken. The young lady working the counter was very nice. She had a good attitude, a smile, and did her best to help me. The issue was not her. I came to pick up a package that had this address on it, but the package was not there. She told me where it was supposed to be picked up and gave me the information she had. The bigger problem is the postal system itself. It is hard to figure out where things go and what you are supposed to do. Trying to track down mail and packages can be really difficult. So while the person helping me was kind, the overall experience was frustrating. I am giving the post office on Vermont 3 stars.
