Meanwhile there is 3 customers in line and 2 employees at the counter tending to customers. I got off work early just to get there to send off a certified check that required a dated post mark and priority tracking. Nothing difficult, typically a 2-3 minute transaction and move on. So I went down the street to UPS store and had to pay a premium. Look, I'm not outta bounds here when I remind people that USPS isn't some independent retailer in our communities providing shipping services. They are a GOVERNMENT agency that should follow the basic rules of morals and ethics. At a minimum provide a "SERVICE" within there hours of operation!!! Is that too much to ask for? BTW i was only one of a half dozen customers being turned away and most of them let them know they were not thrilled about it!!! I went there to pick up a package after the driver was unable to access our building's call box. Unfortunately, the interaction I had with one of your agents, Carliss, was extremely disappointing. From the start, she was unprofessional, dismissive, and displayed no empathy. Most concerning, she seemed unfamiliar with FedEx's own policies, which made the situation even more frustrating. As someone who works in customer service myself, I know how important professionalism and respect are when dealing with customers. If I treated clients the way I was treated, I would likely lose my job immediately. Employees who interact with the public should be trained, knowledgeable, and committed to providing a positive experience -- this was far from the case here.
