Don't let the previous occupant of this building keep you away, URBurger is a good place to grab a burger. I was there yesterday and was surprised at the modern, dare I say trendy, decor. And while being aesthetically pleasing is great, a nice building isn't going to keep you coming back if the burgers are bad. Good news....the burgers are actually really tasty. I got the border burger, and it was juicy, had a lot of cheese and had a good flavor. Unlike a lot of places that claim to have a spicy burger/sandwich and miss on the spice, this burger brought it. Fries were crispy and they had vinegar available, which is a plus in my book. Also at the table was the avocado burger, which was also enjoyed and had a good amount of avocado on it. Another plus? Prices were very reasonable and the staff was friendly. Ok, so there was one thing that could use some improvement. The fried onion cluster was not very tasty. The batter was odd, and there really was no onion flavor at all, as it was overpowered by the coating. We asked for ranch because there was no dipping sauce provided, and it just seems like I've been trained by other restaurants that fried onions need a sauce. So I'll be back. My burger was dry and over cooked, the fries were tasty. Did not care for the decor (very uncomfortable seating) or ambiance.

Ok I was little skeptical of this place only bcz it seemed so empty every time rode by. However looks are deceiving my husband and I have it a try. I had the Bean Burger w sautéed onions and mushrooms and it was delicious taste just like a regular burger. My husband had the burger w crumbled blue cheese. We were impressed. My family has chosen this place a number of times because of it's late hours and fast service. You can get your drinks right away. The food is good especially the meat. The bills have been affordable. I rather like the dressed-down ambiance. I am not the biggest fan of the buns. I like something closer to a French roll type of bread. Still, I've enjoyed my meals here very much. Update as of January 2017: They now have sit down service, so you don't get drinks immediately. Came back there for 4th time, they have great burgers, I could pick different tops. I had the liquor milkshake which taste delicious!!

Terrible service. Walked in for a milkshake and was told to "have a seat" twice after repeatedly saying we were only there to get milkshakes (while standing at the milkshake counter). We were never greeted, just asked what we wanted. Randomly someone came up to the register and told us the price. No hello, just the price of the shakes. When we were finally handed our shakes I said thank you - TWICE - and never received a reply. She literally just walked away. First time and last time there. I'll never understand why people work in retail when they hate dealing with customers. These women should be the last people you have greeting your customers. read more

So this week I decided to go to URBurger. I walked into the restaurant to two young women playing with there hair at the register looking at me obviously confused on how to order, not saying anything. A simple, have you been here before? Can we help you figure out the menu? I mean the menu isn't complicated, but it also isn't 100% straightforward. A little work on the employees at the front would be a big help. As for the food, the burger was great, cooked to perfection. The fries were decent. I will be returning. I also agree with another person regarding the decor. Spice up the place a little, it's Edgewater. Put some local pics in the place, or add some sports photo's to it. The decorations are lacking. Disappointing. I live nearby and have been here a couple of times now. The first time was just 'meh'. The burgers seemed small and uninteresting for the money spent. The second time I had been craving a burger for two days so I decided to give it another shot. I ordered it 'medium well' because I like a smidge of char on my meat. I got it to go, unfortunately. When I got home, I was wildly disappointed to discover I basically had a raw burger. Not just pink in the middle. RAW in the middle and very pink at the edges. I know there are people out there that like their meat still breathing, but I am simply not one of them. Will not be back. read more

The burgers here are very delicious and so are the fries and I'm not normally a fries person! They are thin and crispy and made from real potatoes. The burgers are very juicy and are the best I've had! But tonight when I went, I wanted to try something else on the menu and I tried the grilled chicken with cheddar and bacon and mushrooms with mashed potatoes and a vegetable. I wasn't sure what to expect for $8.50 but I couldn't believe how delicious it was. First of all it was a real piece of chicken nicely pounded and so moist with the toppings I mentioned with real mashed potatoes and perfectly cooked green beans. Just enough food, and I don't know about anyone else, but I can't stand restaurants that give you a huge plate of crappy food that you can't finish. I would rather have a regular portion of a good quality delicious meal any day. I was so pleasantly surprised how excellent it was! I found out from the server that this is an individually owned restaurant....that's why it's so good! These are very rare these days! Go check it out you will NOT be disappointed!!!! read more

I wasn't impressed when I was there yesterday with family. Now I am not a regular but I have been there a few time over the last year. Each time the wait getting longer between ordering and getting your food. Yesterday was just worse I have seen. When I finally did get my burger it was raw inside like blood coming out and you could still form the meat raw. Plus it was the wrong burger I had to get it replaced with a second burger that was done well done like to well done. My aunts chicken quesadilla was ice cold. My daughters chicken strips where well over done and it had the look of the oil not being changed in a long while. The poor waitress was all by herself and was way overbooked. The cook in the back seemed to mess quite a few things up and quite honestly didn't have a clue. Now usually I don't write reviews unless it is positive but this was such a bad experience I needed to post it. I personally think they where great when they opened and have gone down hill gradually. Order was messed up and the food wasn't that good at all, the menu has an adequate quantity of things but the variety feels very limited, the menu needs more chicken-based variety for the main course and maybe some simple fried seafood too like shrimp or crab cakes. I ordered scrambled eggs and got fried eggs. We got some potato slices with the scrambled eggs after the fried eggs were returned and I have no idea where the potato slices came from because nobody ordered them. The burgers are probably great but if you get anything else, don't expect much. This is the only place I've been to recently that offers a chop steak instead of a T-bone for the Steak & eggs breakfast, and chop steak is just a cheap, gross, lazy alternative to real steak. The home fries were hot but they were like dry air pockets with a little bit of flavorless potato in them. I think the server caught on that we weren't pleased with the food or the order accuracy and took some of the cheaper drinks off the bill so at least there was that but I don't think we'll ever come back here. read more

We went here for the first time tonight and had a great experience. My wife and I both had the sunrise burger and we both agreed that it was by far the best burger we have had in a long time. Let me start by saying that I really want this place to do well. The concept is fresh and is great for the neighborhood which I call home. My wife and I went here shortly after it opened, excited for the adult milkshakes and burgers. I had the Border Burger and she got the cheesesteak. My burger was dry, and overcooked, and the bun was just less than impressive - not even close to a bakery quality bun. The jalapenos were ripe, no sear whatsoever, which ignited my mouth on fire. My wife's cheesesteak was dry meat, with little cheese - just had no substance. I think that they will work out the kinks as time goes on, and hope to be back soon. Nice job on the beer and wine selected, no complaints there! Also, the salted caramel milkshake was ridiculously good, if nothing else, I'd go there to suck down one of those! read more

I spent 20 mins waiting for a cheesesteak only to be told they made it wrong and had to start over. I was one of 7-9 total people in the joint and watched 6 leave while I waited. The staff was way focused on some vendors that were selling them something....those guys were obviously way more important to the staff than the customers. read more

The burgers were very very greasy and pretty flavorless. The fries were cold and tasted a bit like the fryer oil had gotten too hot. The prices are quite high for what you get. Five guys right down the street is way better if you're looking for a fast casual burger place. read more

I really enjoyed the food and the experience. You can quickly carry-out, eat at the bar or sit in a relaxed table area. Many young workers that are happy, smiling and fun to talk to across the experience. The restaurant is simple and the food is very good. If you want to have a beer, a spoked shake or just enjoy a burger and a coke, this is a good place. Awesome spot, It's a new hybrid Burger Craft Beer spot. Its a very creative new concept that I see the quick dine in and out spots will be trending to. The Steak Burger I got was amazing basically cheesesteak on a burger and it was unreal. This is just one of the many unique options to choose from. If you are a craft beer snob they will have something there for you. You can't leave UrBurger without trying one of their delicious adult milkshakes.
