Great drinks, cheerful service, and super cool industrial vibes set this coffee shop apart from the competition. The coffee smoothie is a delicious way to get started, and for eats, check out the blackboard menu for creative offerings like cronini, açaí bowls, quiche, and more. Local kombucha is sold in the fridge, and a selection of pastries is on display for those with a sweet tooth. Two bulletin boards feature lots of local info, while great parking is available in the back.

My moms "morning start up" looks yummy, she did enjoy it very much.

Super cool place. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. They have a sugar free coconut milk as a dairy free option! Totally love that for all you "clean" food junkies out there. My latte was made perfect. Support your local small businesses and give this place a chance! Wish they had some oatmeal on the menu but maybe next time ;)!

Best coffee around Annapolis area! The prices are just as high as Starbucks but way better quality.

I actually came Thursday morning and ended up leaving because the line was long. I didn't have time to wait just to order and then wait again for food. On Friday, I did it the smarter way and ordered ahead online, then picked up from the Mad Eggs food truck in the rear, which worked out way better. I went for breakfast and ordered a scrapple, egg, and cheese biscuit ($10) and breakfast tots ($4.25). The order took about 20 minutes, which honestly wasn't bad considering how packed it was around 9:00 a.m. I even noticed people waiting in their cars before heading up to the truck, so the timing felt realistic given the volume. If I had more time, I would've waited without an issue. Food-wise, everything was good, but I had mixed feelings. The biscuit sandwich tasted fine, but for $10, I expected more. It wasn't loaded, and at that price point it just didn't quite make sense to me--I know that sounds sarcastic, but it's hard not to compare when it's a simple scrapple, egg, and cheese. The breakfast tots, on the other hand, were the better deal. I liked these a lot. The portion made more sense for the price, and I really liked that you're encouraged to customize them. That part was right up my alley. With all the topping options, I do wish they offered a sauce or gravy option (like sausage or country gravy), but even without that, this is something I'd order again and again. The coffeehouse itself is small but clean and quaint, with a few tables. Parking out front is very limited--maybe five cars--but there's more space in the back near the food truck, and there's a rear entrance, which is probably the best move. Staff was friendly and efficient, and even from inside you can tell things are run pretty smoothly. I don't drink coffee, so I can't speak to that side much, but I've had food brought home from here before by my wife and really enjoyed the matcha tea smoothie in the past. Overall, I'd definitely return. I think Rise Up does a good job in general, and I've enjoyed their Severna Park and downtown Annapolis locations before. I just expected more out of a $10 biscuit sandwich--but I'd happily come back for the tots and other menu items.

There's a small kids' area inside with tiny chairs and books, which is such a nice touch if you're coming with little ones. Outside, there's a patio space with the cutest little tree fairy house for kids to play in, which honestly makes the whole place feel a bit magical. Definitely a spot I'd come back to, whether it's for a quiet coffee break or a casual outing with my kid. Thanks for having a beautiful place for the community to come together!!

My only complaint is they didn't heat up our pastries and by time I sat down I don't want to get back in the long line to ask them to heat them up. Of course I could just skip the line but did I mention it's small and cramped to navigate. There is a downstairs so be sure to check it out. My tips is to order what you want, say hi to Ferguson and stay a while.

One day when I came in for pick up they told me that they were ending the sandwich due to no longer having the bread that comes with the sandwich. I understood. Sad but understood. I kindly thanked them for letting me know. Suddenly at the last minute, one of the workers at the doughnut shop asked me to wait. They made an exception and tried it on another type of bread with my consistent. The sandwich was still amazing, still delicious!!! It really meant a lot that they went the extra mile especially with my hands being full with the baby. I truly appreciated the gesture. Black owned. Family owned. Good hearts. Love this place
