I brought in a crack screen. i was told: 1. they will NOT fix the screen - cause the antenna was damaged 2. i could turn in my phone . pay $650 for a refurb phone that qualified for apple care (seperate on going charge) I declined i took to iphone to local mall had it fixed for $150. they inspected the devised and advised the antenna was fine (and the apple employee mis- indicated where the antenna was. ) Once again, the staff at this store lihas an issue with veracity in the nicest way possible. (maybe they did not lie/as much as they are miss informed by management. and simple repeating lies) I stongely suggest you get a second opinion if your trying to get a repair done. And be ready to wait an unreasonable amount of time for service at this location. And there is no public restroom at this location (there is star bucks down the street)

I tried to be a good sport about it at first, but it was hard to hear and I had privacy concerns. I drew the line when the woman next to me started chiming into my conversation with the person I was working with. I didn't go to the Apple Store to be lectured about my choices by a stranger. I came to speak with someone trained by Apple to handle a complicated technical issue and purchase a new laptop. When I mentioned that I was uncomfortable, Crystal (manager) came over unsolicited and was incredibly rude. I was not in the wrong. When I sat down, the table was empty. I didn't come to the Apple Store to collaborate with strangers or to engage in cross talk with strangers that were invading my space. There was ample seating at the other empty tables. Crystal is a terrible manager. She hovered over me and said it was so that she could ensure a respectful interaction for everyone. It wasn't a respectful interaction for me, and I was there first. I was also the only one actually making a purchase. I left without buying my laptop. Now I am forced to visit another location. One positive was that RIco (salesperson) was very knowledgeable and helpful. They should make him a manager. Lastly, after asking multiple salespeople for a phone number where I can file a complaint, Crystal forced her way into the conversation again. She ultimately gave me the number. I made a 7 minute call, and the complaint was logged. 1-800-275-2273 Apple has a really good customer service line. They actually listen to you, and make sure they get the story straight. I hope you get the life you deserve Crystal!

I spent a couple weeks gathering all the components I've been eyeing and made the pilgrimage down to Micro Center (in Tustin) to take advantage of a great MOBO/Proc/RAM bundle. The last time I built a PC was in 2008 and at this point in my life, I just wanted an expert to help me get everything running and optimized. Gar was that expert. This guy knows his stuff and I couldn't be happier with my (first) experience at Helix. He runs the shop by himself and is clearly a lifelong PC enthusiast. It was really cool to see all his customers more 'aesthetic' builds that were in progress. I'm old so I wanted something with as little RGB as possible (haha). He even has a mini museum of PC components from decades past on display which really sent me down a VERY nerdy memory lane. He put together a 9800X3D / 5080 air cooled monster and everything runs perfectly. He optimized Win11 and walked me through everything he did when I picked up the machine. I would consider his shop a unicorn in 2026. Physical location. Passionate business owner who is offering top quality service in a niche industry. Fair prices.

He took on a really challenging build for me (SFFPC) and I couldn't be happier with the result. He's also a great guy, which always helps. Won't go anywhere else for my PC needs!

Within two minutes, the employee (I believe his name was Josh) redirected me to the owner. The owner wasn't there. No offer to schedule anything, no follow-up, nothing. I asked about laptop pricing and whether they could compete with Amazon. He said yes, they can match prices. Fine. But the entire interaction felt rushed, like he had somewhere better to be. No effort to actually help me understand anything or earn the business. That's the thing. I was ready to spend money. On a consultation, on a laptop, potentially both. But when an employee doesn't own the outcome, it shows. The owner should know that customers willing to pay are walking out the door because the person on the floor doesn't seem to care either way. Left with nothing. Spent nothing. Completely avoidable.

They helped me with so much kindness, patience, and grace. I was having such a hard time getting my stickers printed and finding an option that was reasonably priced, and they truly gave me the white-glove experience from start to finish. Every employee there was so helpful, but I really have to give a special shoutout to Reina and Kate. They didn't make me feel rushed or frustrated they took the time to help me and made the whole experience so much easier. Thank you, ladies, for your kindness, patience, and grace. (Serviced 06/23/26 TU @ 4:15pm): This depot was strictly for office business!…read more It's been over a decade since I last visited Office Depot's La Crescenta location, but the timing was perfect because I was in the area for a separate reason. With all of the consolidation in the office supplies industry over the past couple of decades, I think the only ones left standing were Office Depot, Staples, and to a lesser extent FedEx, with companies such as Office Max and Kinko's having been absorbed from competitors. I've been making extended copies at my local Staples, but the costs have continuously gone up as they closed in on a dollar a page on heavy-weight paper which I really didn't need. So, I opted to try the competitor in hopes of saving some money. Was I able to deposit some money back into the bank after using this office store from my printing needs!? PURCHASE(S) 8.5"x11" Double-Sided Color Printouts ($0.70 x130): I needed to print a recent summary inspection report for an investment property we acquired to give to our general contractor as a checklist of things to focus on and repair over time. Although the per-page rate was slightly cheaper than what I've experienced, it wasn't that much different to go somewhat out of my way. The printing quality was fine, the speed was a tad slow, but it got the job done. SERVICE At this time, there were only two employees, and I was the only customer. With no salutations from either of them, I easily headed towards the self-service copy center, checked out the machines, read whatever signage there was as to how the machines worked and payment, and then attempted to make copies. Nope; something went wrong! I tried several times on the same machine to no avail. I went to another copier and finally things were working properly. After about ten minutes, my print job was done, I paid at the machine, I asked a young male salesperson for a bag to put my copies in, and I casually walked out the door. For my needs, all of this was fine, but I sorely hoped this wasn't the norm. PARKING (FREE): They had their own private spacious lot - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A large boxy warehouse store filled wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling and multitudes of aisles stocked with a ton of various office supplies of anything you could imagine. There was plenty of space between the aisles, shelves, and floor displays, with a smattering of promotional ads/posters about. Minimal natural lighting came through the large front windows and doors while soul-sucking fluorescent electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There weren't any TVs while I couldn't recall any background music. ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL La Crescenta's Office Depot served its purpose, but for future office service needs, I'll more than likely return to a Staples closer to me. I didn't find much differentiation between the two brands, I had a few Staples closer to me and where I normally was, and this particular location was simply dreadful in feeling like all life was sucked out of it. I walked around, and I saw nothing (even less!) that I couldn't get at Staples. The printing prices may've been slightly less, but it wasn't worth it. And, the service was mostly non-existent and hidden. I found good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $100.00 BEFORE any discounts, points usage, and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 3.0 STARS
