    System Restore due to not loading correctly.

    Recently I had been having issues with my Dell Laptop. Every time I turned the computer on, the screen showed "Repairing drives" and it would take quite a bit of time to fully boot up because of this. Also I would get a message on the screen periodically, "Kernel Data Inpage Error". It was getting to be cumbersome so I decided to check with a Computer Repair shop to see what could be done about it. I typed in "Computer Repair" on Yelp and this is the first business that popped up. I called them to see if the problems I was having were easily fixable. Eddie told me to bring my laptop down to his shop and he'd check it out for me. When he checked my laptop, he saw that I was on Windows 8.1. He told me the problems I was having were because I needed to update to Windows 10. Okay. We went over pricing and I left my laptop with him. He called me once he finished updating and said it was ready to be picked up. I asked him if he accepts credit card. He said no, he only accepts cash. Okay, fine. I turned my computer on that same evening and the very first and most important thing I noticed was that I couldn't scroll the pages up and down the way I was normally able to before with the mouse. Before the update, I was able to just place 2 fingers on the touch pad part of the mouse and scroll the page in whichever direction I wanted. That was not happening anymore and I had to utilize the page bar on the right. That was such a big hassle for me. Very time-wasting. Second, within half an hour of using the computer, there was a system error and it forced me to restore the computer. Not sure what he did that would have caused that. Keeping in mind that I hadn't done anything on the computer yet except look around the desktop and try to browse with a mouse that no longer worked properly. Okay, not a big deal. But after the system restore, I wasn't able to customize username or anything because it was asking me for a Product Key. Hmm, I wasn't given that. I headed back to Eddie's the following day to have the problems remedied. He fixed the customization issue, I assume by putting in the Product Key. I asked him for the Product Key, in case I needed to restore my computer in the future. He said he didn't have one to give me. What? Why not? Isn't that what I paid for?? What am I supposed to do in the future if another system restore needs to be done? Whatever, I didn't want to argue. I then asked him about my mouse not working properly. He said you can't scroll the pages with 2 fingers on the touch pad because that is not a feature of Windows 10. And that I had to use the bar portion on the right side of the page to go up and down. Huh? That didn't sound right to me. I said okay, thanked him and was on my way. I stopped over at a different Computer Repair Shop after leaving Eddie's and asked them about the mouse issue. He told me that it wasn't a Windows 10 issue and could easily be fixed. Which he proceeded to do after I gave him the go ahead. He had me test it afterwards and it worked perfectly. But I was out another $20. Which I really shouldn't have been if it was remedied by Eddie. Also, this computer repair shop said I absolutely should have been given a Product Key. Oh well, live and learn. Eddie was a nice guy and I hate to leave a bad review, but unfortunately, this was my experience and I will not be returning there.

    Eddie's friendly, helpful, and provided quality customer service. What more can you ask for? Went in to have a desktop fixed. He was timely, and able to get my computer diagnosis in seconds! His recommendations were spot on and honest. Definitely recommend for you to come visit for all your computer needs!

I needed my laptop for school work that was due the next day. That's when I found Joseph. Calling him a computer repair guy feels disrespectful. He's more like a laptop surgeon! We sat down and he thoroughly inspected everything, explained exactly what liquid damage does internally, and broke it down in a way that even a non-tech person like me could understand. He used simple analogies to explain why certain components fail after spills, which honestly made the whole situation feel less overwhelming. Because I was on a tight deadline, he moved fast. He replaced the top case so I could get up and running immediately. We're calling that "Phase 1" -- basically a strategic band-aid so I could meet my deadline. I'll be going back next week for a deeper repair and full internal assessment once I have more time. What impressed me most: * Clear communication * Honest recommendations (no upselling) * Quick turnaround * Confidence without ego And yes -- he operates out of his home garage. Don't let that throw you off. It's basically a science lab in there. I was genuinely impressed by the level of equipment and Apple parts he had. It felt more like a specialized workshop than a random garage setup. I live on the Westside of LA and made the drive and I'd absolutely do it again. When you find someone competent and trustworthy, distance doesn't matter. If you're dealing with liquid damage, keyboard issues, or any MacBook emergency, Joseph is the real deal. Professional, smart, efficient, and genuinely cares about getting you back up and running. Highly recommend.

Garnik, the owner, exceeded every expectation. I dropped off my PC at 10 AM and he had it completely diagnosed and fixed by 3:30 PM - same day service when most shops would have kept it for days. But what really impressed me was how Garnik actually took the time to explain everything instead of just doing the work and handing it back. He didn't just slap on new thermal paste and call it done. He properly reapplied the paste, then noticed my fan configuration was all wrong and moved everything to the correct CPU pump headers and fan headers. He walked me through exactly what was causing the thermal problems and how he fixed them, then stress tested the whole system right in front of me so I could see it was running properly. Garnik was super knowledgeable, friendly, and got everything done way faster than I expected. It's honestly rare to find someone who knows their stuff this well and actually takes the time to make sure you understand what's going on with your build. About a week and a half later I finally got all components working only to run into Windows installation issues. I emailed the business at midnight, after long hours of trying to figure out why my SSD wasn't being recognized. I got a response first thing in the morning, I brought it in at 10:30 and he had it done by 4:30 same day, even though he said he wasn't sure he could get it done til the next business day. Also as someone who just has a casual knowledge of all this stuff, I was kind of afraid of being judged for my choices and abilities if I brought it in somewhere, but Garnik was SUPER nice and friendly, and even though my issue ended up being a return fraud SSD situation, he fixed up my wiring, installed windows, and basically got my whole rig into working shape, which was such a relief after struggling for so long. He even gave me an adapter for my old DVI port cintiq monitor. Along with lots of helpful advice. Even though I hope I don't run into issues like this any time soon, I'm a customer for life! (I'll add a photo once I'm satisfied with my RGB color choices haha)

On this visit we were looking for a phone charger for my son's I-phone 13. An employee helped him find exactly what he was looking for and the price was affordable. $27.40 (including tax). As he was shopping for his charger, I was on the 1st floor looking for different styles/labels of vacuums and microwaves. Sarvin and Kelly were very helpful showing me different models of both appliances. They were a tad expensive for our budget. The last vacuum that we got from here is almost 10 years old. We will definitely return to see if they have anything that costs a little less. They do have some sales items which is a plus. It's a very nice, clean store with plenty of parking all around. 10/10. I had an accident where I stepped on my legion go s screen and it shattered. I didn't expect it to break the entire screen, but only crack a portion of the screen. The fragility of the screen is significantly worse than I thought. I talked with several other tech repair shops and either they did not answer my request for a quote, took way too long to answer or gave a response that they could do nothing about handheld repairs, some gave bad replies. He was the best of 8 different tech repair shops I have encountered and not only the best, it was a landslide better than the competition. The only real issue I had was a very high price premium to fix my device. It was about half of what the actual device cost. Of course I got it on sale for about 700$. The service, labor and total cost to repair was $335. So, almost half of what I paid for the device at Best Buy. I learned not to place this fragile handheld on the ground to prevent it from getting damaged again. Overall satisfied with the outcome and Dory did fix it. Personality was good and time to fix was roughly 2 hours. Parking lot structure is terrible, not enough space and many other places nearby. There are other parking structures as well but it may get towed or even scratched due to compact spaces. Also a little unsafe as there are some loitering. Overall, It's good but not the greatest in terms of value but Dory been doing this for many years roughly 15 as I recall.

I came into this shop first thing in the morning and had an amazing experience. The tech cleaned out my entire PC, installed a new coolant fan, replaced my thermal paste, and even redid all my wiring. He finished everything in about an hour, was super efficient, and clearly knows what he's doing. The total was only about $125, including the new part he provided, which is such a great deal. On top of that, he was really friendly and I had a nice chat with him while he worked. My PC is running better than ever now. Highly recommend!
