I asked about laptop pricing and whether they could compete with Amazon. He said yes, they can match prices. Fine. But the entire interaction felt rushed, like he had somewhere better to be. No effort to actually help me understand anything or earn the business. That's the thing. I was ready to spend money. On a consultation, on a laptop, potentially both. But when an employee doesn't own the outcome, it shows. The owner should know that customers willing to pay are walking out the door because the person on the floor doesn't seem to care either way. Worked with Jason whom remoted my pc with team viewer that I already had installed. Professional and fast. He started texting me and we communicated with no problems and he was lightning fast at solving my issue remotely. I can tell that he knows what he was doing. Before I even had a chance to get to know him and chat him up he was already off my pc and asked me to check his work. Really good to have a pro just go in and get it done. He asked me to call back in and provide payment. That was easy too. It's amazing to have good help when needed. They tried to upsell me with a "package" deal for virtual IT guy but to be honest, I'm not very thrilled about it and the way it was presented. Still 5 stars service for what I needed done. Called today about purchasing a hard drive. Woman on the phone said yes they sell hard drives. When I asked a more technical question about the hard drives connection she asked a tech for help. Then I was told they do not sell hard drives or parts unless they to the install? Waste of time and horrible customer service. Don't advertise parts if you don't sell them. Went in to get my two keyboards cleaned. It cost me $50 each but one was definitely dirtier than the other. The technician explained that they used special water which I assume means that they used an ultrasonic cleaning machine to clean the keyboards. They told me to come back in two days. Came back in two days, keyboards were really clean, not out of the box clean but definitely better than expected. Service was good, price was a bit high and so was the turnaround time. I also got to meet one of their chief technicians who repairs our "Lifelines" - and y'all, he's a computer NINJA!! These guys REALLY know computers, inside & out (literally), and will graciously take good care of you and your device. They also have another friendly store in San Marino, & one in Tustin/Irvine. After 5 months of intensive research, I feel I can TRUST this company with a computer I'd never heard of(!) because they carefully vet ALL of the devices they sell, selecting ONLY those which have withstood the test of time re. reliability & durability. With so MANY makes & models out there now, you've gotta watch out -- lots of them break down about as quickly as they were made!
