Kaddy's is simply the BEST! Chris and Donovan, part of Kareem's staff, are true professionals; experts in their field and over-the-top helpful. Their services are very reasonably priced and have fast turnaround on repairs. In addition to the quality of their service, Kaddy's is a company with heart who care about their customers. Our family lost our house to a fire and I was able to salvage the remains of a laptop that I had purchased from Kaddy's just 3 months prior. I took the charred remains to Chris and Donovan to see if there was anything they could get off the hard drive. 3 days later, they presented me with a replacement laptop with a hard drive containing 100% of the information from my burned unit, over 40 years of business and personal records and history. When I took out my credit card to pay, Chris said "No Sir, this is on Kaddy's as a gift to help you get back on your feet". Talk about being a good neighbor! I can't thank Kareem and his crew enough. They literally saved my business. read more

Kaddy's Computer Repair is exactly the kind of shop you hope to find when you need someone you can trust with an expensive computer. They've diagnosed and repaired two of my high-end gaming desktops over the years, and their professionalism and straightforward communication have earned my confidence. They explain what they find, walk you through your options, and give you room to make an informed decision. Just as importantly, they don't push upgrades you don't need or extras you don't want. That approach makes a real difference when you're trusting someone with equipment you've invested a lot in. A professional, trustworthy shop that I can enthusiastically recommend. If you're looking for a place to take your gaming PC, Kaddy's deserves serious consideration. read more

Highly recommend Kaddy's to help resolve those pesky PC issues that have been plaguing you for weeks or months. For awhile (months) my PC has been losing video while playing games or video chatting. I swapped out parts in and out and same issue was happening. Decided to take it in to have a professional diagnose the issue. Walked in. Technician was helping someone at the time and acknowledge me. We talked about the issue I was having and provided the servicing cost which I feel was fair (~$100). Gave me a 2-day estimate for servicing. After 2 days the technician gave me a call that my PC is ready to be picked up. At the store he gone over the issue (which is an incorrectly plugged in power supply wire which I completely overlooked). PC is running very smooth. No issue ever since taking my PC in. All software running with no issue. No more power issue. No more stress. Will not hesitate to come to Kaddy's for any future PC issues. read more

I visited Kaddy's to get help on troubleshooting my desktop computer problems. I had bought a new computer at Costco and I was having trouble connecting dual monitors to the computer. They were very helpful, cost conscious, and knew just what my problem was pretty quickly. I have connected dual monitors up before but it was not happening for me this time. Turned out I needed a special adaptor specific to the video connection on the back of my computer. They had the adapter and I left with my problem solved and a new $ 15 part. It worked perfectly when I got it home. They did not charge me for the troubleshoot time. Wow. These guys were efficient, pleasant, and knew their business. They were more than fair with the money end of the business. read more

i paid $200 to have my pc built custom and honestly it was worth it. no matter what i threw at them--last second parts, extensions, all that--the price never changed. Donovan worked nonstop on my build and you can tell, dude really knows what he's doing. communication was solid the whole time and he kept everything transparent, from pricing to any potential issues. he even took the time to research all my parts and extras to make sure everything would fit perfectly. he doesn't just throw your pc together either, he actually takes time with cable management and makes it look clean like a display piece. read more

These guys brought my computer back from the dead. When a Driver Updater app knocked out my computer's display, they were able to fix it and quickly. They were also great at explaining what happened to my laptop and gave me a credible recommendation for a new anti-virus software. Not only were they easy to interact with but their pricing was fair and affordable. They also operate ethically with integrity which is so valuable these days. read more

10/10 recommend Kaddy's Computer Repair! I had an issue after my macbook air updated, and no one including Apple was able to help me. Just got my computer repaired here at kaddys. The computer was in need of a deep cleaning and a new thermal paste. For a very reasonable price they did this service for me. My computer was overheating and now its running nice and cool. Once again I cant be happier with my service here. Chris and Donavan are amazing. read more

While the initial diagnostic fee is a bit on the higher side, it was worth it. Chris was able to recover and transfer all the data from my old Mac laptop that I had been told by multiple other technicians was beyond repair. I truly appreciate his expertise and being able to deliver results when others couldn't. I'm grateful and will be returning for any future repair needs on my Mac and PC. read more

I brought our computer in after the storm power surge. Donovan was exceptionally accommodating. He brought the computer in for me. He got it to reboot and explained that it was on its last legs. He looked online to recommend a reasonably priced replacement. He also gave me advice on a new monitor. It seems like customer service is lacking in most places, but not here. Thank you, Donovan, for all your help. read more

I needed to have my router and internet connections upgraded and called Kaddy's Computer Repair company and Karim came out and was incredible! Aside from being extremely fast and knowledgeable he is the best computer person I've ever dealt with. Why Kaddy's? My wife's company uses them and I had Karim out to my house last year and was very impressed then. He has a good price and value for what you get. In this repair Karim actually removed some equipment and it works great. read more

What a fantastic place with truly experienced techs to help you back up again! I have a beautiful iMac 27inch 5k, and it was running slow. The old hard drive wasn't cutting anymore and I wanted to upgrade to an SSD. Called around and some repair shops were charging me an outrageous number, talking about how it was no longer a good computer and that they didn't make parts for it anymore. They were lying to my face. Reached out to Kaddy via Yelp messages and saw their reviews, I was told sure they could do it and broke down a fair price. Packed my precious up and headed down to Whittier. The staff was so courteous and knowledgeable, they told me it could be done that day but more than likely by next morning. Which it was, when I got out of work I headed down and they showed me the speed difference and I was ready to go. I'm now rocking a faster loading machine, and I spent a couple hundred bucks to bring my 2017 machine into the future. Masterclass work from Kaddy. I will be coming back for my repairs from now on! Thank you Donovan and Chris! read more

This is by far the best place. I went there because I needed help building my gaming pc. They made the process so easy. They told me to go to a website to help build my perfect build. Then they would make suggestions to make it even better. They would explain why something might not be good so, they would give a better option. Throughout the build they communicated with me. They definitely made my life so much easier and I will be coming back for future services. I found the price to be reasonable compared to other prebuilt pc with almost the same specs. The price of my pc vs a prebuilt was roughly the same and the prebuilt had inferior components. I am extremely happy with my build. They have a customer for life. read more

I was so impressed with Kaddy's. I took my janky self-built PC in to have my GTX 1080 swapped out for an RTX 2080ti that I'd bought on eBay, and couldn't figure out how to install myself. They did a great job. they cleaned the inside, they updated the drivers, and they were able to put the case's side panels back on properl. They had just been detached, and leaning against the otherwise open case. I'm not a PC expert, and it was nice to take my system in, and it be upgraded much better than I could have done. I think it was $90, but definitely worth it for the headaches I avoided. I'd use them again for another upgrade that I can't figure ou myself, and highly recommend you give them a shot, too. Parking is a pain, but that isn't specifically related to Kaddy's read more

Requested service via Yelp (could not boot my computer up). After trying several options of fixing it myself, I just couldn't figure it out, and didn't want to buy spare parts just to test my theory. They returned message quickly and was able to drop off my computer the next day. Because it was the holiday weekend, it look a little longer than expected. Fees for inspection was $50 that could go to the labor cost of any additional repair. Price was reasonable, if not downright low. The staff kept me up to date via text and messaging, computer returned looking brand new, and happy everything worked out. read more

These guys are amazing, we've been here twice for a PC and a laptop both used for gaming. My sons were super happy with the end results. In time of need and desperation, Kaddy's Computer Repair came to my rescue. I had a laptop that got wet when someone accidentally spilled their water directly to it. The laptop turned off immediately (i was working on it). We tried everything to make sure it turns on again but it didn't. Called Samsung for our warranty but it expired already. Called to schedule a repair service more than 10 times but no one was answering. That is when I turned to Yelp and found this place. I called, explained the situation and was told they could fix it. I was so happy and came over right away. I forgot their names but the person on the phone and the one who took care of me when I got there were super nice. Their service is absolutely top tier. Long story short, they fixed my laptop. Although it took them awhile (ordering parts etc), it was worth it as my laptop is working fine. I'm so glad I found this place. The "Expert" broke my computer. I came in for an estimate on a cpu fan replacement. That's it, no work, no new parts, just wanted an estimate price on replacing just the cpu fan as that's the error message I get when I booted it up and now because I took it to Kaddy's it's broken and I can't even use it. Regardless if an estimate can be done over the phone, I came in and asked for an estimate, was told to pay a fee, and now have been returned my property (that they took apart without asking me) in non-operational order. I never gave them permission to take apart my computer to work on or test anything that's what irks me most of all. I just wanted an estimate on a cpu fan replacement. -KADDY TECHNICIAN CONFIRMED COMPUTER WORKED WHEN DROPPED OFF -OWNER KARIM CONFIRMED WHEN DOING AN ACT THAT WASN'T REQUESTED THEIR TECHNICIAN DID BREAK DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE MACHINE AND IT DOES NOT NOT WORK ANYMORE. *see attached photos. They charge a $40 diagnostics fee no matter what to look at your computer and give you an estimate on what repair you want done. No big deal because if you chose their service that $40 is then deducted from your total bill. I paid the diagnostic fee, and dropped off my computer. No issues. I get a call days later by "The Expert" and he said 2 things to me on the phone that made me immediately decide I was going right there to pick my computer back up. 1. That he broke pieces of my computer when he removed those pieces from the computer and that it was not his fault; they broke because of x,y,z. 2. They can fix that too for an additional charge. Regardless of whatever x,y,z is; the piece(s) that are now affected and broken is not the CPU fan; which was the reason I brought it in and what I paid for an estimate on in the first place. Again emphasis on estimate, not any work done, just wanted an estimate on replacing the cpu fan and now my whole computer doesn't work because of Kaddy's Computer repair "Expert" In my opinion if I took my car in to get an ESTIMATE on fixing the air conditioning, and the mechanic broke something in the engine while trying to LOOK at the air conditioning unit and give an estimate then that company is should fix their mistake, but Kaddy doesn't care about it at all. Despite being told by "the expert" that I can come and pick up my computer if I don't want them to fix it; when I arrived at the store later that day I was not allowed to pick it up because at that point it was disassembled an hour before closing time. 6pm. Regardless if I "hung up on the phone " He told me my computer was ready and I could come and pick it up prior to me hanging up, so why was it disassembled when I arrived? I was then made to wait approximately 30-40 minutes after arrival at the store later that day before I could then take my computer home. For them to reassemble it when I never asked for it to be taken apart in the first place. Just an estimate. I didn't ask for money back, nor do I care about $40. I care that he broke my computer and doesn't even feel bad, or apologize and that's why I took the time to write this out. It's just not right. I am sorely disappointed in everything to do with this interaction and Kaddy's Computer repair company and wouldn't recommend to anyone! :( A simple google search would have resolved this without any sort of tampering with my computer. Now I have to replace my entire computer because Kaddy's "Expert". Sincerely, A guy who knows computers, has built his own, but isn't a self-declared "expert". Edit 2: response to owner Karim you are missing the main point because you're so caught in your own defense. I didn't ask you to tell me what's wrong with other parts of or take apart my PC. I asked for an ESTIMATE of how much it would cost for the cpu fan replacement THAT IS IT. Doing ANY WORK to the PC including disassembling without my permission was incorrect of you regardless of how right you think you are. Your reasoning is IF I did hire you to replace it you'd have to power it on, that is NOT what I came in and paid for to be done then, so that doesn't matter. Just because you are a computer shop doesn't mean you can do whatever you think you want to people's PCs just because they drop them off with you. That's my property and you had 0 RESPECT for it and it shows on how DEFENSIVE you are with your responses to me Karim. As of that point regardless you shouldn't be "testing" or taking anything apart. That's why the mechanic analogy works, you just don't get it. In my analogy the mechanic didn't make a mistake while doing service I requested. Your technician DID STUFF when I asked for an estimate AND BROKE THINGS doing a stuff I DIDNT APPROVE and for you continually blame me that he broke it when he shouldn't have even been taking it apart at all. It's not his. It's mine. I told you what I wanted and your technician was incorrect, and broke it. read more

Kaddy's Computer Repair - Can finally go back to gaming after they fixed my PC - IT Services & Computer Repair Near Me - La Habra, California

These guys went the extra mile to figure out what was wrong with my son's laptop. It first appeared to be a bad component because there were some burn marks near/on it, so they replaced it. When that did not fix the problem, they spent more time troubleshooting to ultimately find out it was a bad ram stick. The tech told me he should of swapped the ram first because a lot of the time that is what is likely the problem, but the symptoms did not act like bad ram. They did not charge me an extra for the component swap! I felt bad for him since I can tell he spent more time on this than he should have for the amount I was actually charged, so I gave him some extra money as a thank you. read more
