Love this place. Great food amazing coffee. I had the smoked salmon toast. Perfection. Service is spot on! I heard a waiter say they are changing up the menus this week. Great neighborhood vibe.

I stopped by to kill time very early with no one else in the restaurant. Staff was just arriving to start their day & nothing special on customer service. The espresso was weak in my opinion, I believe it has to do with the type of coffee being used. The toast was good but I would have enjoyed a crunch.

Here is our dinner dine in experience: We are choosing 3 stars because we have heard lots of things about this restaurant but expectations fell short : with the slightly bland hummus but fresh carrots on the crudites, pork belly croquette is bacon inside not the biggest fan BUT the lemon aioli sauce WAS DELICIOUS. Paired well with EVERYTHINGG. Tandoori chicken schnitzel and farmer harissa salad was both good in its own way, crispy chicken clean oil to elements of mediterranean spices, bestie loved that mango chutney and fresh cucumbers on top of the schnitzel. I had the harissa lentil salad, nothing to rave on but that Lemon aioli from the pork belly croquette pairing, was so good on everythinggggg i repeat! more than the green sauce that the salad came with. The dessert mascarpone on the banana walnut was my personal fav with coffee subtle flavor and toffee bits but bestie enjoyed the bread more than I, the edges were kinda dry. Bathroom downstairs and its clean i like paper towels. But the service staffs were friendly and very attentive.

Stayed at the nearby Roxy Hotel and Two Hands was a quick walk down the street - before I leave, I am definitely going back for another Açaí bowl with peanut butter! Super refreshing in the summer heat, and the service was incredible warm and welcoming.

Two Hands is like that fancy brunch place your friend keeps telling you to check out, except not as pretentious. They've got great espresso drinks and an interesting menu with lots of fun ingredients. I got their soba noodle bowl and really enjoyed the mix of spicy chili sauce, cold noodles, warm mushrooms, jammy eggs, and tangy pickled veggies. What a medley, and it worked well for a filling, delicious lunch. Great option for a casual breakfast or lunch in a laid back environment!

I've been here twice recently, and both times were great! The restaurant isn't big, but the location is good and everyone's friendly. I had a reservation both times and we were seated pretty quickly. Bonus points for them seating us quickly anyway when one of the reservations got lost! The vibe is casual and relaxed, as is the crowd. The food came quickly, and was delicious. It's not a place you'd go for a long lunch, but definitely recommend for someplace relaxed, quick, and with healthy options.

Yummy berry smoothie

Had brunch here with a friend in June. We ate quite late, which turned out to be a good thing because the noise level was cacophonous even as other people finished their meals and left. Not a place for a quiet conversation. On the other hand, the food was great. I loved my berry smoothie and banana bread, and my big brekky was good too. My friend's avocado toast looked amazing. Wheelchair accessibility note: There are stairs coming in and the only restroom is down a flight of stairs. Not a good choice for a wheelchair user.

This updated review is on just dinner and I was really happy with it. The burrata toast is amazing and the eggplants on the toast are so delish. Toast is a bit hard though. The fish (branzino) was also perfect, with a crispy skin and delightful veggies with a nice crunch and sprinkle of dill. The dessert (I got the brownie) was a nice dark chocolate in flavor but kinda hard and difficult to eat. Overall, I don't need to come back for brunch but I'd come for a dinner!

I've been to the Nashville two hands location and absolutely loved everything about it, so I had to come back while in New York! Though I thought the Nashville interior was prettier, this space was quite nice too and had a little outdoor patio as well. It was busy on a Saturday afternoon, but we were able to get a table for 3 after about a 20 min wait. At past visits I've gotten the harissa chicken bowl and curry, so I tried the açaí bowl this time and it was so delicious! I also loved the banana espresso martini, and the banana bread with espresso mascarpone is a must order every time. My cousins loved the latte, chicken bowl, and breakfast burrito. Two Hands has such a well balanced cafe vibe and menu with fresh ingredients and unique twists!!

Went for a late brunch on a Sunday afternoon with a large group and had a good experience. Had the Burger which was solid. Others in my party had Zoe's Market Plate, the Açaí Bowl, the Chicken Sandwich - no complaints. The Hash Brown for a side was also nicely prepared. Very friendly staff in a comfortable, casual environment.

Looking for brunch? Two Hands is a solid spot! It's a cute Australian cafe with a good variety of aesthetic food and drink options. I came with a friend at Wednesday afternoon, and got seated right away! We both agreed that the breakfast burrito was phenomenal, and the hash brown with the scrambled eggs was the highlight of the meal. I also really enjoyed the banana espresso martini! Definitely come check this place out if you want a cute brunch with friends!

I've had Two Hands bookmarked for a while and finally make it for brunch. The cafe was cute and relatively busy (definitely make a reservation on the weekend). I had Zoe's Marker Plate and a Latte both were delicious! Will be back to try and the espresso martinis next time!

I recently stopped by Two Hands in Tribeca for a late morning bite, and I have to say, it was a pretty delightful experience overall. First off, the ambiance wise, it's cozy, bright, and has that perfect mix of modern and rustic vibes that makes it feel like a hidden gem. We got seated right away at 11:30 AM, but it got packed quickly after. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was quick, which made the experience even more enjoyable. However, I do have to mention the tiny cups for water, they're cute but definitely not practical if you're thirsty (just something to note if you're a big water drinker like me!). Now, on to food: * Harissa Chicken Bowl ($20): My friend loved this. She said the flavors were bold and vibrant, with just the right amount of spice. If you're a fan of harissa, this is a must try! * Added Halloumi ($7): it was grilled perfectly with a nice balance of crispy on the outside and soft inside. A great addition to the bowl * Henry's Chicken Sandwich ($18): This was delicious! The slaw on the side was truly the highlight for me. It was tangy and crunchy, and idk how to explain the flavor, but it honestly paired so well with the crispy chicken. I couldve eaten a whole bowl of that slaw! * Chili Fries ($9): These were tasty, though I would have loved to see a cool dipping sauce to go with them. The fries themselves were perfectly thin and crispy, so no complaints there * Banana Bread ($13): we shared this and presentation was pretty, but I wasn't a huge fan of the texture of bread. it was a bit too dense and dry for my taste. I was hoping for something more moist and fluffy. the espresso cream on the banana bread was bitter at times, which was a bit of a letdown after having such a nice start to the meal. I'd pass on this Overall, I had a great time at Two Hands. It's the kind of place you go for a casual yet stylish meal with a fun, upbeat vibe. Would definitely come back, especially for the chicken sandwich and slaw!

Cute place! Cozy. Nice comfort-food menu. Reasonable prices. The chicken harissa bowl was delicious. Attentive but low-key service.

Things I dream of all in one sexy, cozy place that whisks you far away from the streets of Manhattan. Our chairs were comfy, and there were many seating areas that looked equally as inviting. The staff were very hospitable and helpful, giving suggestions on what to order and telling us about some of the preparation, like the brine for the fried chicken that incorporates tea for flavour. We had the Caviar Tater Tots ($29), which were tasty and a fun concept, but I thought a little pricey. We shared the fried chicken ($36), which I also thought was high, even for Tribeca. I wish there had been more than two hushpuppies, which I enjoyed. The fried chicken was very juicy and I liked the spices used in the coating. My friend was celebrating her birthday, which I told the manager about on the D.L. He had the waitress bring a big piece of the bread pudding and put a candle in it. My friend was completely surprised and chuffed. The bread pudding was dense, but not heavy and delicious. It reminded us a little of kugel. I appreciated them gifting the dessert: a very thoughtful gesture. I'd like to go back to try a cocktail, the crab dip and the lobster roll (but preferably with someone else picking up the tab).

I picked Chambers for my husband's birthday dinner primarily because of the exceptional wine…read moreprogram, but also because the food is supposed to be really good, too. It delivered on both fronts, but I really was blown away by the wine. The sheer quantity of available wines is really impressive, and the sommelier was able to recommend a rare wine that fit our interests (a fantastic, effervescent, creamy Txakoli that had lovely fruit and minerals). Later, I tried amazing ice cider. The food rundown: -Sesame pizza Bianca: complimentary bread! This was very good and quite sizable. The bottom is entirely encrusted with sesame. -Scallop crudo (rhubarb, shiso): very good and the plating was gorgeous. Meaty scallops with tangy and pungent flavors. -Snowdance chicken (spinach, sherry, thyme): Super tender, crispy-skinned chicken in a savory sherry sauce. -Sea bass (asparagus, hollandaise): I was surprised at how remarkably well this dish worked. The asparagus was so good with the rich, buttery sauce. Definitely a smaller portion, but the chicken was huge so it balanced out. -Potatoes with ramps: Yum. Served hashbrown-style and the ramps were added as little sauce dollops. I loved the space, and by that I mean the ambience and also the literal amount of space we had to ourselves. We got to stretch out in a roomy corner booth. The room featured a lot of exposed brick and grey and utilitarian ceilings, but it manages to be cozy all the same.

Chambers is a charming, intimate restaurant with a warm, compact dining room, an ample bar area,…read moreand even two chef's-kitchen bar seats that give the room a little extra theater. Unfortunately, the food never really lived up to the setting. The meal started with the scallops with sweet corn and espelette. They were fine, which ended up being one of the more positive assessments of the night. My father had the Peekytoe crab with peach and brioche, which was also okay. My mother had the Norwich Meadows carrots with yogurt and carrot-top pesto, and that was where the meal started feeling flat. Nothing was technically offensive, but there was very little excitement or depth to the plate. Portions were consistently small, which became harder to ignore as the meal went on. For mains, my father ordered the heritage pork sausage with shrimp, Jimmy Nardello peppers and cilantro. The dish only really came together when you got the sausage and pepper in the same bite, but there was very little of it, and on its own the sausage was not especially compelling. I ordered the Snowdance chicken with spinach, sherry and thyme, which is apparently one of the restaurant's signature dishes. My father and I switched halfway through because he liked the chicken more than I did. I found it surprisingly weak: essentially a pounded chicken preparation that was bland, average and nowhere near what I would expect from a signature entrée at this price. My mother had the housemade bucatini with zucchini, Tarentaise and mint. It was strange rather than satisfying, and none of us particularly liked it. Service was much better than the food. Our server was good, and the secondary service was even better. They did forget one of my father's drinks, but replaced it without issue. I still left 22% because the kitchen's problems were not the server's fault. Dessert finally produced the best dish of the night: the mascarpone with phyllo, cinnamon caramel and lemon pistachios. That was genuinely good. I then figured I would order the cheese because, at minimum, how badly can you mess up cheese? The answer was not badly, exactly, but absurdly. The "cheese and crackers" course was two small pieces of Appalachian cheese for the table. Two pieces. For three people. That pretty much captured the meal. The restaurant has obvious Gramercy Tavern DNA in its restraint, seasonal ingredients and minimalist plating, but this felt like a much less successful version of that philosophy. When this style works, simplicity feels precise and confident. Here, too often, it just felt sparse, underdeveloped and expensive. For three people, with appetizers, entrées, three cocktails, one glass of wine, dessert, cheese and tip, the total came to roughly $472. At that price, "fine" is not enough.
