The truth is I was here for the Pincipessa Cake! I've seen it on social media for years. I came in for brunch on a Thursday morning. I really hated the brunch menu. I asked if they would serve me a Caesar Salad with grilled chicken at 10am and after some major incompetence they did accommodate me. The servers kept disappearing and at one point I did get a refill on my hot tea and was able to order the slice of cake I came for. I can honestly say while I did enjoy the slice of cake the $45 chicken Caesar was dry and being charged for 2 cups of hot tea to the tune of $16 was extremely off putting. In hindsight I should have gotten the cake to go or eaten it at the cafe next door and eaten a meal somewhere else.

If you have a sudden urge for delicious gelato in an upscale setting sant Ambroeus is the place for you. I had to deduct one star because I got my two scoops of gelato in a tall paper cup and was given a plastic spoon. Really? An $8 gelato and not even a stainless steel spoon? But I did get one when I asked for it so I'm happy to give this four stars.

Gotta admit, the food here is incredible. It's way too expensive, but vibes are great, service is awesome, and food is delicious. Well worth it for a last minute res

This is a cute little breakfast place in soho. The patio gives European vibes and the staff was friendly. I got the sant ambroeus coffee which was good but the chocolate could have been mixed in better. The plain latter my friend got was much better. The chocolate cornetto was fabulous, very sweet but so tasty and excellent texture. My friend and I split the tricolore omelette which was pretty bland but the potatoes were good. This is a great and surprisingly quiet spot to enjoy a coffee and pasty

I've been here twice, once for brunch and once for dinner. Both times I grabbed a seat at the bar and enjoyed my meal. I'm giving this place a 5/5 because regardless of how busy the establishment is, the service I've received has been great. My water glass was constantly filled, and wine was available when I wanted another glass. The two entrees I had were American Toast and the Linguine alle Vongole. The linguine is literally eye-rolling, mouthwatering, and just the perfect portion for dinner. The American toast is a classic American breakfast that you can't beat. The ambiance is dim-lit as the evening goes on; the bar is usually packed, and there seem to be a lot of neighborhood regulars. I will be returning!

This is a cute small cafe with drinks, gelato and dessert. I wanted to get drinks and gelato but it was really packed inside since there's limited amount of seating. There is outdoor seating and there are heaters, but the heaters get overwhelming after a while. I got a hot latte with soy milk and a matcha latte with soy milk, came out to be $14.14 in total. They have a lot of milk options which is surprising, they have pistachio milk, skim milk, oat milk, almond milk, etc. The latte was not good, there are definitely better in the area, it was mostly just foam and not worth $7. The matcha was very milky and you can barely taste the matcha flavor, again not worth the price.

Sitting at the bar, love all the plates.

Sant Ambroeus has been a go-to for me many times when I'm in Soho and want to grab a bite. I like sitting at the bar and watching the bartenders perform their magic. We were able to get two seats there on a busy Saturday afternoon and had a prime view of the mixologist as he crafted our martinis. Such style! I had the burger, which was very juicy and thick and came with potato chips. My partner had a quiche, which was decent. We were both disappointed that they didn't have fries/frites - I mean it's a French place after all! - but we'd still go back.

Loved the vibes here! We originally planned to visit the dessert café next door, but they were closing, so we ended up here instead. We asked if we could just have drinks and dessert after our nearby dinner, and the host was super friendly. Perfect spot for a cute date night!

This place is very popular to a very busy area, so reservations is a must! Loved the decor and ambiance as it reminded me of a fancy cafe. The menu isn't extensive, but some solid options for food. That is why I took away a star. When you go to a brunch spot you expect some solid options, but this place does not have that. They do have some tasty freshly squeezed juice drinks that pack a mean kick! You can taste all the flavors in it so you know you are getting all the flavor and not any filler. The complimentary bread and olive oil was a nice treat, and so was the appetizer. Even though I came here for brunch, I found myself settling down for the Veal Milanese. It was veryyyy tasty and done right! As big of a cut that it was, I was still hungry for more. The dessert options are soooooo good! Couldn't decide on just one so went with a couple and I couldn't put the fort down. Overall, it's a nice spot to try if you are around the area. I wouldn't bank on their brunch though.

We came in for brunch - it's expensive. Service and ambience make up for a big part of it (staff is professional and amazing, kept our waters full). Food is good but I probably don't need to come back. The French toast was very good though.

The food was really good, especially the pasta, I really enjoyed how chewy it was! The service was fantastic, our waiter checked on us multiple times and the manager even gave us free cookies in the end! The environment is nice and very busy on weekends! only thing is that I feel like everything here is a little bit overpriced, but other than that, everything else was great!

When we entered the restaurant and took the elevator up to the restaurant, we were delighted to find free wine provided for us to pour in the elevator. Admittedly, it was red wine, so not my favorite, and it did taste cheap, but still appreciated. To start off, we ordered the onion torta, focaccia, and smashed potatoes. The onion torta was surprisingly good and tasted like a form of french onion soup. As a focaccia enthusiast, the focaccia was fluffy and delicious. We also got the charred beans, carrots, ravioli, tagliatelle, ravioli, and trout to share. The charred beans were surprisingly the long beans and not the smaller ones we expected. However, they were very juicy and better than we thought they would be. The rigatoni resembled cacio e pepe with its pepperiness, the tagliatelle tasted like standard red sauce, but i did enjoy the ravioli and the ricotta inside. For dessert, we had the basque cheesecake which was alright, but I'm not the biggest fan of cheesecake. Overall, we had a great time at Ci Siamo and I would definitely recommend ordering the focaccia and onion torta and we could have skipped the carrots, beans, trout, and tagliatelle.

If you answered "yes" to all three, then Fumo is a place to seriously consider. The restaurant is bright and comfortable. The service is fast and attentive. The menu has lots of excellent choices. This means those dishes aren't truly gluten free for people with celiac disease or anyone who has to avoid gluten. When I pointed that out to my server, he just gave me a blank stare. I tried to explain why labeling those items as gluten free is misleading, but he seemed completely disinterested, even annoyed, dismissed what I was saying, and simply responded that the pasta is gluten free. I acknowledged that the server doesn't write the menu, but absolutely zero customer service skills. The service overall was lacking. Aside from taking our order, no one checked on us or came back to see if we needed anything. Our server was just hanging out chatting up the hostess. We had to request the bill from the manager & paid at the hostess stand. Before paying, I spoke with the manager and explained what had occured. He was more professional than the server, but he was still dismissive of my concerns and of the service we received. Management seemed happy enough to promote the "option". The food was okay, definitely not enough to make up for the poor service and handling of a serious dietary issue. Needless to say I will not be returning.
