We stopped by for a drink after walking down the West Side Highway- definitely coming back. The service was very attentive and friendly - I was told they just got a new GM and have been building their staff up, and it shows. Only had the Orange wine (honestly a great orange wine- had 2 glasses), and escargot (super delicious). We will be coming back for brunch this weekend! Really cute street and intersection in Tribeca. If it gets windy outside they have blankets, fyi.

We found this French/Moroccan spot, loved the menu online, and decided to go for brunch. Honestly, it was a pretty good meal, but it was an interesting experience. We got the Boursin, chocolate chip pancakes, shakshuka, and fries. Fries were super good and I loved the mayo aioli they came with. Shakshuka eggs were amazingggg and the pita bread it was paired with was perfection. Pancakes were super light and fluffy, and the ice cream atop them was creamy and delicious. Personally, I wasn't the fan of the Boursin -- I thought it would have the sweetness of cheese, but found it to be overwhelmingly bitter and sour. My friend, however, really enjoyed it, so clearly it just wasn't for me. Service was interesting -- we didn't immediately get the menus as soon as we were seated, and we were sort of rushed out/got subtle hints to leave less than an hour after sitting even though the restaurant was pretty empty. It was super quiet inside too even though there were a few other people there for brunch. I'll have to come back again during a more lively time! Overall, good food and will keep this restaurant in mind in the future, esp for din

great bloody mary but too spicy for my taste 7/10 ($16) Amazing iced americano (no sugar or milk) 10/10 Goat cheese omlette so good 9/10 ($19) basically id recommended this if you want a good quick breakfast, not boozy brunch vibes. Very french, host was a lil rude but service was super quick. They also played Britney and Miley cyrus 4.5 stars for good food. -0.5 for the host

It is a fun place in Tribeca. Bartender is great. Food is average. Great outdoor space. Service was excellent!

Had Market Salad and Pasta/Orechiette The favor of salad was like scatter plot, separated but not conflicted. Many sweat beans was hidden under the mountain of pasta. Need to dig them out. Mixed with skin of green onions, which created a gradient of sweetness. Tasty. +1 star for participating NYC restaurant week

I liked Yves a lot - it reminds me of a slightly more grown-up (and hometown) version of Maison Kayser. I came here for brunch so I can't speak to the dinner but the food was pretty tremendous. Let's just say if you can't get a table at Locanda Verde, Yves is by no means a consolation prize. Y'all know how much I can never pass up granola on a brunch menu. The version at Yves' was something I'll definitely try to replicate in my own kitchen with the addition of one unique ingredient, rhubarb! It lent a sweetness that went really well with the strawberry and honey. My group's dishes were all delicious too, I tried each one and I couldn't pick a favorite. You can't go wrong. The seasonal quiche with gruyere probably stood out the most: know that for $17, you are getting your money's worth with an enormous slice and a perfect, flaky bottom. Also liked the croque madame and the blueberry pancakes that the waitress offered with vanilla ice cream. We were all still feeling an enormous meal the night before but if I had come back in an hungrier mode, there were more than a few appetizers I had my eye on (the boursin and the Arctic char tartine).

I found out about this restaurant because it's on Seated, but from the start I wasn't too impressed with their menu since it's a bit limited. I came around 7:15 on a Friday night, and the restaurant was packed. The next table wouldn't be available until 8:30, but the server told us that there's a full menu at the bar, so we decided to head over there. A couple stools ended up freeing up within 15 minutes, so we ordered drinks/entrees. I ordered the Best Lei'd Plans ($16) cocktail, and it was delicious. As an entree, I went with the salmon ($28). To be honest, I really didn't think the entree was worth the $. The fish was a bit rubbery and the salad didn't taste like anything. My friend ordered the cheeseburger ($21), and I will say the shoestring fries were good! Overall, this is a cute place to grab a drink, but it's just okay food-wise.

My sister invited me out because she wanted to try a "new American" restaurant with a flare of French dishes. It was so appetizing. I am so glad I was able to go. It is a small imitate restaurant with is great for going to for a date night. From the food to the ambiance and even the waiters are awesome. Our waiter was knowledgable of the dishes and gave us great advice on both the drinks and food. It was so helpful because I can never decide on a good drink to pair with my food. The dessert....omg...was on point. It was just the amount of sweetness I enjoy after my entree. This is a restaurant which everyone should visit in downtown Manhattan. You will not be disappointed.

Nice neighborhood bistro that serves classic American cuisine. Menu is relatively short and contained (which I like), and there's something for everyone, whether you're pescatarian, vegetarian or carnivorous. The chicken schnitzel is massive and delicious - a combination that I'm very into. Wines are great as well. The selection leans French but they have a decent variety from other regions as well. For example, I had a lovely orange wine from Valencia, Spain.

Yves has been a bit of a local hit since it first opened, but it reached international fame in late October when President Barack Obama, Robert Denio and Tim Cook went to Yves for dinner. The vibe is great and the cocktails are excellent, but the food can be average. The veal schnitzel was excellent, but everything else was just ok. The staff seems disorganized with no one in charge.

While I can't comment on the wine list personally, I know they are well-known for their extensive selection. After placing our order, we were delivered the sesame pizza bianca, which is a complimentary starter bread with dinner. The bread was a nice size and light and airy with a perfect crust and a delicious, crusty sesame seed bottom. The prawns were our starter and came three to a dish. They were sizable, though since they are served with the head and tail, there isn't a ton of meat on them. That said, they were flavorful and juicy with a nice sauce and just the right amount of spice that didn't overwhelm the fish. The snowdance chicken was the star of the show! It was incredibly juicy and tender with perfectly prepared skin, so I was happy to learn they keep this on the menu year-round. It was topped with some spinach that was solid, though nothing special. We also ordered a side of mushrooms which came with a creamy sauce and fish roe intended to be mixed at the table. The roe wasn't fishy at all but added a great element of umami to the flavorful, well-textured mushrooms. Overall, the service was very professional, though I thought the pacing could have been improved as the dishes came out a bit slowly. I would also recommend ordering at least two dishes per person, as the three plates we shared between two people felt like just a touch too little food. I'm already looking forward to going back--I'd try the winter chicories salad or the veal sweetbreads next time, but I'm open to exploring everything since the quality is so high. I noticed a side dish listed on their online menu that wasn't actually offered in person, so it might be worth double-checking if you have your heart set on a specific item.

I made reservations after seeing their special hot chocolate on social media and had a wonderful meal! Started off with the hiramasa which was fresh and went deliciously well with the citrus-y and sweet cara cara orange, as well as the aji peppers! The castelfranco chickory salad was fresh, crunchy, slightly creamy and slightly tangy - basically everything you need in an appetizing salad! Their house sesame bread was fluffy and chewy with a good amount of sesame flavor without having too many seeds. For mains, the farfelle was very interesting and tasty! The pasta was al dente and the sauce was addicting! At first I was wondering if it would resemble a nut butter, but it was creamy with very prominent walnut flavors and interesting texture (perhaps from the blended walnut skin component?). The addition of burrata and other cheeses was perfect for a cheese-lover like me. The pork chop was flavorful, well-seasoned, and juicy. The leek and cabbage mixture soaked up all the sauce and I wish there was more! Their special hot chocolate with an espresso martini marshmallow was fire!!!! Hot chocolate was decadent, not too thick, and not too sweet. The toasted marshmallow melted quickly but definitely had coffee and alcohol flavors. The amount per serving doesn't appear a lot but appropriate considering how rich it is. The mascarpone dessert had a great balance of fluffy cream, extremely crispy phyllo, and crunchy nuts with a touch of chocolate and vanilla! For drinks, I was really curious about the bi lemongrass but they ran out. Staff recommended the semiplume, which felt like a beer, tea, and sparkling wine all at once! Loved the floral aroma and bitter tea notes. My partner's cocktails were also well executed. Staff were nice and friendly. We got seats right by the kitchen so staff often checked in with us, including the chef!! Vibes were intimate with the dim lighting and minimalist decor. Definitely want to come back to check out their chicken and other dishes!!
