We stopped by for a drink after walking down the West Side Highway- definitely coming back. The service was very attentive and friendly - I was told they just got a new GM and have been building their staff up, and it shows. Only had the Orange wine (honestly a great orange wine- had 2 glasses), and escargot (super delicious). We will be coming back for brunch this weekend! Really cute street and intersection in Tribeca. If it gets windy outside they have blankets, fyi.

great bloody mary but too spicy for my taste 7/10 ($16) Amazing iced americano (no sugar or milk) 10/10 Goat cheese omlette so good 9/10 ($19) basically id recommended this if you want a good quick breakfast, not boozy brunch vibes. Very french, host was a lil rude but service was super quick. They also played Britney and Miley cyrus 4.5 stars for good food. -0.5 for the host

Wonderful Easter Brunch at this lovely French Moroccan Brassiere. Nice Brunch menu, good selection of wines. Great service. Will definitely comeback and try dinner menu.

We found this French/Moroccan spot, loved the menu online, and decided to go for brunch. Honestly, it was a pretty good meal, but it was an interesting experience. We got the Boursin, chocolate chip pancakes, shakshuka, and fries. Fries were super good and I loved the mayo aioli they came with. Shakshuka eggs were amazingggg and the pita bread it was paired with was perfection. Pancakes were super light and fluffy, and the ice cream atop them was creamy and delicious. Personally, I wasn't the fan of the Boursin -- I thought it would have the sweetness of cheese, but found it to be overwhelmingly bitter and sour. My friend, however, really enjoyed it, so clearly it just wasn't for me. Service was interesting -- we didn't immediately get the menus as soon as we were seated, and we were sort of rushed out/got subtle hints to leave less than an hour after sitting even though the restaurant was pretty empty. It was super quiet inside too even though there were a few other people there for brunch. I'll have to come back again during a more lively time! Overall, good food and will keep this restaurant in mind in the future, esp for din

It is a fun place in Tribeca. Bartender is great. Food is average. Great outdoor space. Service was excellent!

I liked Yves a lot - it reminds me of a slightly more grown-up (and hometown) version of Maison Kayser. I came here for brunch so I can't speak to the dinner but the food was pretty tremendous. Let's just say if you can't get a table at Locanda Verde, Yves is by no means a consolation prize. Y'all know how much I can never pass up granola on a brunch menu. The version at Yves' was something I'll definitely try to replicate in my own kitchen with the addition of one unique ingredient, rhubarb! It lent a sweetness that went really well with the strawberry and honey. My group's dishes were all delicious too, I tried each one and I couldn't pick a favorite. You can't go wrong. The seasonal quiche with gruyere probably stood out the most: know that for $17, you are getting your money's worth with an enormous slice and a perfect, flaky bottom. Also liked the croque madame and the blueberry pancakes that the waitress offered with vanilla ice cream. We were all still feeling an enormous meal the night before but if I had come back in an hungrier mode, there were more than a few appetizers I had my eye on (the boursin and the Arctic char tartine).

Pistachio Crusted Salmon, Yves Cheeseburger, and Best Lei'd Plans cocktail

I found out about this restaurant because it's on Seated, but from the start I wasn't too impressed with their menu since it's a bit limited. I came around 7:15 on a Friday night, and the restaurant was packed. The next table wouldn't be available until 8:30, but the server told us that there's a full menu at the bar, so we decided to head over there. A couple stools ended up freeing up within 15 minutes, so we ordered drinks/entrees. I ordered the Best Lei'd Plans ($16) cocktail, and it was delicious. As an entree, I went with the salmon ($28). To be honest, I really didn't think the entree was worth the $. The fish was a bit rubbery and the salad didn't taste like anything. My friend ordered the cheeseburger ($21), and I will say the shoestring fries were good! Overall, this is a cute place to grab a drink, but it's just okay food-wise.

Orechiette

Had Market Salad and Pasta/Orechiette The favor of salad was like scatter plot, separated but not conflicted. Many sweat beans was hidden under the mountain of pasta. Need to dig them out. Mixed with skin of green onions, which created a gradient of sweetness. Tasty. +1 star for participating NYC restaurant week

My sister invited me out because she wanted to try a "new American" restaurant with a flare of French dishes. It was so appetizing. I am so glad I was able to go. It is a small imitate restaurant with is great for going to for a date night. From the food to the ambiance and even the waiters are awesome. Our waiter was knowledgable of the dishes and gave us great advice on both the drinks and food. It was so helpful because I can never decide on a good drink to pair with my food. The dessert....omg...was on point. It was just the amount of sweetness I enjoy after my entree. This is a restaurant which everyone should visit in downtown Manhattan. You will not be disappointed.

Nice neighborhood bistro that serves classic American cuisine. Menu is relatively short and contained (which I like), and there's something for everyone, whether you're pescatarian, vegetarian or carnivorous. The chicken schnitzel is massive and delicious - a combination that I'm very into. Wines are great as well. The selection leans French but they have a decent variety from other regions as well. For example, I had a lovely orange wine from Valencia, Spain.

Yves has been a bit of a local hit since it first opened, but it reached international fame in late October when President Barack Obama, Robert Denio and Tim Cook went to Yves for dinner. The vibe is great and the cocktails are excellent, but the food can be average. The veal schnitzel was excellent, but everything else was just ok. The staff seems disorganized with no one in charge.

Food was average- look out for plain toast and a $2 charge on your bill if you ask for butter.

Didn't feel like it was associated with a hotel!…read more Stopped in after dinner for a quick drink and snack/dessert. Ordered a Cadillac Margarita (Casamigos) for me + Vodka Martini (Grey Goose) for my partner + thick Fries + Slice of Chocolate Cake Drinks weren't anything special but the fries were hreat and cake hit the spot. Actually, I'm so glad we stumbled in because their cute and short food menu is PERFECTION for lovers of small bites -- crab dumplings, caviar deviled eggs, spicy tuna crispy rice, shrimp cocktail, oysters, sardines, etc... Things I dream of all in one sexy, cozy place that whisks you far away from the streets of Manhattan. Our chairs were comfy, and there were many seating areas that looked equally as inviting. The bar was gorgeous, lighting was super moody. The room was daaark and not very busy on a Friday around 8-8:30 P.M which we appreciated. Our waitress was fabulous and so friendly, great with timing and checking in!

I picked Chambers for my husband's birthday dinner primarily because of the exceptional wine…read moreprogram, but also because the food is supposed to be really good, too. It delivered on both fronts, but I really was blown away by the wine. The sheer quantity of available wines is really impressive, and the sommelier was able to recommend a rare wine that fit our interests (a fantastic, effervescent, creamy Txakoli that had lovely fruit and minerals). Later, I tried amazing ice cider. The food rundown: -Sesame pizza Bianca: complimentary bread! This was very good and quite sizable. The bottom is entirely encrusted with sesame. -Scallop crudo (rhubarb, shiso): very good and the plating was gorgeous. Meaty scallops with tangy and pungent flavors. -Snowdance chicken (spinach, sherry, thyme): Super tender, crispy-skinned chicken in a savory sherry sauce. -Sea bass (asparagus, hollandaise): I was surprised at how remarkably well this dish worked. The asparagus was so good with the rich, buttery sauce. Definitely a smaller portion, but the chicken was huge so it balanced out. -Potatoes with ramps: Yum. Served hashbrown-style and the ramps were added as little sauce dollops. I loved the space, and by that I mean the ambience and also the literal amount of space we had to ourselves. We got to stretch out in a roomy corner booth. The room featured a lot of exposed brick and grey and utilitarian ceilings, but it manages to be cozy all the same.

Also loved the crab toast. Excellent wines as well. Will return with a reservation!

We came in on a Friday evening and it was pretty quiet inside. After we were sat down upstairs, it took a long time for our waitress to come to take our order. We got the Butterscotch flip, Getaway driver, and Big trouble. These drinks were not it. Although the prices are okay($19 each), they definitely need some improvement. All three had very strong flavors that were not balanced with the rest of the drink. After we finished our drinks, we waited an especially long time for the waitress to come back, check on us, and give us our bill. It was especially frustrating because we were the only ones in the bar at this point and we could hear them chatting downstairs. Overall, both service and the drinks need improvement. Can't really recommend Split Eights over other cocktail bars around.

Our cocktails were delicious, music was on point, service didn't feel rushed at all. I was feeling adventurous and asked for a boozy gin-based cocktail.. loved it! My friend really enjoyed her drink as well. At $19 per cocktail, it's not the cheapest in the area, but also not the priciest either. Would absolutely recommend Split Eights to anyone looking for craft cocktails in the area.
