Loved the tomato martini. Pastas were very good too. The ravioli was my personal fav. I also personally love prosciutto and melon and theirs was super fresh melon and delicious prosciutto that had the best balance. Yummmmm! It was a very nice summer Italian meal.

I pop by this place every once in a while to check out the nine dollar martini. I ADORE the savory tomato. It's so balanced and light. Delicious. I typically sit in the lounge are and chat with a friend. The vibes are chill, the cocktail strong, the service quick and efficient. Maybe next time we'll try food!

Piccolo Morini is a new Italian restaurant serving up excellent cocktails and delicious pasta. My friends and I enjoyed a lovely evening here, starting with the focaccia. For our mains, we shared the cacio e pepe and vodka sauce pasta, and both were delicious. I would definitely return! The ambiance could use some improvement, though. I recommend asking to be seated in the main dining area. We sat in the front section, which has a very different feel and came across more like a waiting area than part of the actual restaurant. We were also seated almost on top of another table despite there being plenty of open tables around us, which made the experience feel unnecessarily cramped.

Located blocks away their original location, this reboot of Osteria Morini is super fun and slightly different. If you want fun, approachable Italian food, these guys are it. The plates under cicchetti are all smaller, almost tapas sized dishes. Which is great because you can order more. We went with the calamari fritti, mortadella sando, and the braised octopus to start. They were all quite delicious. And of course, they're the self proclaimed home of the $9 martini. And according to the wife, the martinis were quite good. For our mains, we went with the carbonara and the gramigna. They were both perfectly cooked al dente, seasoned well, and hot. Plus they leave you with a Parmesan cheese grater. Dangerous. Overall, very happy with the experience. We will definitely be back. I just wished the AC unit would be cooler. I also found it a bit weird that they charged for sparkling water when it was clearly house bottled.

Loved everything about this restaurant. The $9 martinis, friendly service and delicious food. The portions are a bit on the tiny side so don't expect to split entrees but all food was plated beautifully and tasted delicious. Went here during a major heatwave and the AC wasn't the strongest but despite this I'd go back again.

Excellent artichokes, focaccia, parmigiano "gelato", arancini, panzanella verde, amatriciana, nerano, tagliatelle, garganelli, girelle, and tiramisu. Truly loved all five pastas, and the tiramisu is one of the better ones around.

It did not disappoint as it was high up on the 40th floor. We arrived later and the kitchen was closed, but the drinks were well served and the server was kind to check in with us the right amount of times within a time period. I also love that it's right next to Port Authority, so if you're from Jersey, it's so easy to catch the bus right after!

DI reserved an area between the bar and patio for the event. Enough room for our party to gather and not impede on other patrons. I found all of the staff to be very professional and attentive while very busy. The menu has a variety of small bite options, which was shared amongst the group. Everyone seemed to enjoy them, suggesting one another to try this or that. The bartenders/ mixologists were on their A game. The drink menu is pretty extensive and from what I could see, our party choices ranged from wines to whisky's and several options between. The rooftop/patio was an extension of the comfortable but trendy decor. Great space for an evening, date or friend gathering. Dear Irving... well done. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

As for food, there were some true hits but most of the food was good but basic. The highlights for me were the wild mushrooms & rice cakes as well as the Caesar salad - loved the use of nori in the salad and would definitely come back for the mushrooms. The chicken cutlet and chicken dumplings were fine but I probably wouldn't order them again. The wait staff weren't super attentive nor super warm, but they were efficient when we asked for water refills, etc. There was ample standing room at the bar while we waited for our friends, but the table/booth that we sat at was super narrow, I was knocking knees with my friend all night and generally felt squished.

There weren't enough servers to handle the crowd and that was reflective in our dinner service. Despite being checked in on 0 times and having to flag them down for water, to order, and to get our check, their attitude wasn't warm or accommodating at all. It even came off like we were bothering our server when asking for basic things. The food was subpar. Didn't try the drinks. Maybe that's the savior? -Tuna tartare acceptable; nothing to write home about -Chicken dumplings tasted like chicken but had no bite to it. Weird and served on paper that resembled a crumpled receipt or used tissue. -Chicken cutlet was warm and soggy. No truffle flavor as advertised on the menu. Some creativity points for the accompanying foam dip but it didn't work. -Beef short rib was tasty but the single potato that come with it felt insulting and cheap. Really? One potato? -Pecan pie dessert and sorbet were really good. Sad way to finish, only enjoying the final course. Ambiance was good. Floors were super slippery because they were tiled on a snowy day. They should warn their guests about that. Lots of work to be done here and I will not be around to see it through!

Tell the bartender what flavors and spirits you're in the mood for, and let them work their magic. I gravitated toward whisky-based, chocolate, and fruit-forward cocktails, and every single one was phenomenal. My husband stuck to Old Fashioned- and Manhattan-style drinks, and those delivered too. The bartender absolutely nailed our preferences, crafting delicious cocktails tailored to our individual tastes. Getting in is part of the experience: knock on the door, and they'll let you know if there's a spot available or add you to the waitlist. We visited on a weeknight around 8:30 PM and waited barely five minutes. I'll be coming back every single time I'm in NYC. Exceptional bartending, personalized cocktails, and an experience that genuinely lives up to the hype. Do not miss Attaboy!

As we were walking out, the host/person checking IDs at the front was incredibly kind and asked us if it was just the two of us because there was space upstairs (we didn't know that was an option!) I am so thankful to them because we were able to enjoy some of the best cocktails I've ever had. The staff was incredible - they checked in with us throughout the evening, explained the menu and gave excellent recommendations. We started with their old fashioned drinks (Lock and Key and the ash and molasses) - both were excellent. After that I tried the psycho killer (a whiskey drink with cacao nib campari, roasted banana and absinthe) - I have had absinthe in a Sazerac before, but this drink was unique and truly special. We couldn't help but get one more to share before leaving -- the Belfast Bred, a cold brew drink with a delicious cream on top. We didn't order food on this visit, but everything looked great.
