Celebrated my birthday at Tucci and it was AMAZING! The restaurant is stunning! We sat downstairs and it almost felt like being in a cave. There isn't one plate that I was disappointed by. We started off with the baked clams and Cesar salad, absolutely perfect! I could have had another round of clams! We shared the cacio e pepe and the branzino. I think I dreamt about the pasta of how amazing it was. Best cacio e pepe I've had in a very long time! Whatever dressing was on the branzino was incredible. The waiter brought out the tiramisu for my birthday and it was so delicious! The dirty martini was the perfect addition. We sat at the bar while waiting for our table and it was perfect for people watching! Can't wait to return! Ps: the bathroom is gorgeous for selfies!

Pleasantly surprised! Not that I had any bad expectations going into Tucci, but as someone that grew up on Italian food, I generally find many of these new Italian places to be a bit of a letdown. I'm happy to say that Tucci was not such! We started with the meatballs and tuna carpaccio. The meatballs were really good honestly some of the best that I've had in the city. The tuna carpaccio was not bad by any means, but I've definitely had better. It just seemed to be lacking depth of flavor. For our mains, we had the chicken Parmesan, spaghetti Pomodoro and Campanelli Alla Boscaiola. Honestly, all three were very good! I wouldn't say that the chicken Parm was as insane as I expected it to be and have heard it is, but it was by no means bad. We all really enjoyed it. The spaghetti Pomodoro was honestly one of my favorite things if not, my favorite, it was perfectly cooked and the sauce was divine. It was a great execution of a basic spaghetti with red sauce. The Campanelli was really good as well and the addition of the sausage and mushrooms really elevated the dish - super flavorful. In terms of service, it was good, but honestly could've been better. Our waiter wasn't very friendly and was kind of pushing us to get things that we had already said we didn't want. If we say we don't want the bread for example, don't ask us multiple times if we're sure. I definitely expected better service and I kept having to ask for my water to be refilled, which I never enjoy having to do. Hosts were great though! Ambience is wonderful. We were seated in the upstairs section and it's very pretty and really good vibes. The downstairs area looks very cool as well - like an old wine cellar. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Tucci and would definitely come back.

Some of the best Italian food I've had in years if not the best! The service was accommodating despite the feeling of impatience and irritation by the waiter. The ambiance is excellent and the small top floor gives way to a lower level which is more expansive. The Clams Organata was amazing. The Black Truffle Tartufo was a huge standout along with the Veal Chop Marsala.( I forgot to take a pic ) The waiter was annoyed by the amount my friend tipped on the check and came back to suggest a bigger one. That was tacky and aggressive. I agree the tip was too small and I made the adjustment for her but his approach was unwarranted and he embarrassed her. Overall very nice and friendly establishment. Very Posh and funky Not a place to just stop by .. you must plan to dine here. The hostess with black hair wearing the green dress was to die for

The steak was so amazing. I had to send it back but the second one was perfect. The drinks was ok a bit watered down. The waiter was really cool and chill nothing was an issue. The vibe was calm and intimate but a bit too dark. I would recommend.

What a lovely Thursday 3/20/25 dining surprise. The ambiance was cozy & sexy and the host was kind enough to seat us as a party of 4 in the lower level for a late dinner (we didn't have a reservation). Service was seamless & attentive. Great crafted cocktails and extensive wine list. We shared foccacia, borrata and artichoke for starters. Then we shared benzino, chicken parmesian, octopus and a unique lasagna. All were pleased. I will definitely return.

Will definitely go back! Delicious food, attentive service and romantic and fun ambiance. I started the meal with crispy artichokes - they weren't all crispy so I don't necessarily need to get that again. Then I shared the chicken Parmesan and cacio de Pepe and they were both very good. Their Pinot noir by the glass paired very well with it. For desert, we got tiramisu which was pretty good. I will definitely try other apps and mains and pastas next time. Highly recommend!

street away from the Broadway-Lafayette FMBD stop // soho shopping area (there's a dress code FYI, midtown expectations but not midtown location mm okay) Receptionist is literally right behind the door, bit of a jump scare IMO bc I couldn't tell if the staff were also patrons or they were staff, everyone was kinda standing there and they did look us up and down to make sure we adhere to their dress code and it honestly made me a bit uncomfortable Restaurant is bigger than it looks. There's a first floor and a downstairs. Lights are really dim. Good for date nights I guess but people do trip going up the stairs [Restaurant Week] food took some time but everything was well-seasoned and generally good portion size but doesn't feel like it filled me up. A spot for if you want dinner but not eat too full to the point you feel nasty and bloated and plan to bar hop after kind of location.

I happened to try this place with my friend during the last Restaurant Week and we were both overjoyed! The food was so delicious! The ambiance was charming. The service was accommodating. Note that the bread is not free but is fresh baked rustic and excellent. We shared the Burrata and prosciutto di Parma and the Tucci meatballs appetizers. I had the ibérico pork chop and my friend had the chicken Parmesan. We shared the cheesecake and bomboloni desserts. Everything was melt in your mouth bursting with flavor! It's on the pricey side overall, but worth the splurge, especially a great value for Restaurant Week, so add it to your next to go list!

First time here and definitely coming back!! Came here on a Thursday night at 6 and it was already buzzy! We ordered the meatballs, arancini with caviar, chicken parm, and cacio e Pepe. All were so delicious and we didn't feel super gross after from all the carbs. For dessert we ordered the chocolate mousse, cheesecake & the pistachio gelato and all were phenomenal! Peach gimlet is good if you want a sweet cocktail but also had a couple dirty gin martinis that were great! Can't wait to go back and try more dishes!

Tucci was Gucci baby! My friends & I had a lovelyyyyy Saturday night dinner. The ambiance was dark with the perfect touch of light at each table & along the walkways, sexy, intimate, a perfect vibe for dinner. I had a sidecar to drink, my girlfriend had a cosmo & my guy friend had the Bianca Negroni. We said we were only gunna order one drink each...but of course we ordered two! They were delicious with a perfect balance of ingredients. To eat we shared the meatballs, baked clams & Caesar salad. The sauce on the meatballs, YUMMY BABY! The meatballs themselves were seasoned well & cooked perfectly but that sauce was the kicker. The baked clams? Literally, actually, licked the clam CLEAN. Prob my favorite of the night. The Caesar salad was a bit underwhelming only because I'm picky. The anchovies were present in the dressing but it could've packed a little harder in the punch, or maybe more Worcestershire, salt, idk but something was missing a bit in the dressing. For our entrees, my girl had the branzino, I had the chicken parm & my homeboy had the Cacio e Pepe. His was a bit underwhelming as it could've used a bit more salt & pepper. But the branzino? DELICIOUS! Branzino is branzino so the portion is what it is, but baby it was good!!! The star of the show, the chicken parm. Silly of me to think I'd bring home leftovers. I tore that baby UP! I thought it would be smoked vodka sauce in its entirety but it was only a thin layer of the vodka sauce but primarily the same sauce from the meatballs. Wasn't mad at that because again, delicious, but I wish there was more vodka sauce. For dessert we had the hazelnut gelato, cheesecake & tiramisu. 10/10 recommend all of them. Overall? Tucci is GUCCI!

The ambiance is sublime, and the service top notch. I must say I went in not expecting much of the food when I looked at the menu, but I was quite impressed with some of the dishes. The focaccia was a little doughy for my taste. But the sauce accompanying the artichokes (as well as the artichokes themselves) were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the agnolotti. The stuffing was a mix of eggplant and yogurt that was delicious, and it paired really well with the zucchini mint sauce. I'd go back just for the agnolotti. I enjoyed the cacio e Pepe with truffles as well, and appreciated the freshly shaved truffles on top.

Sorry to say but it was not what we expected equal to the price of almost $600 for a couple. Upon arrival, we had to switch tables and the hostess (who really wasn't happy when we arrived) seemed annoyed she had to move us, they ended up trying to literally squeeze us in a spot that I couldn't sit let alone by husband who is double my size. We were sat again without menus and completely ignored for the next 15 minutes, finally I called the Sommelier over to ask him to help and he did choose a very lovely wine at our price point. We then waited another 15 minutes for our server who when he finally came over, didn't introduce and just started saying what the 4 course menu entailed. It was at that moment, I asked him if he was our server, he nodded and walked off, the next time I saw him was when we had to order desserts. Our first course was good but the sauce with the meatballs tasted burnt so that was inedible, I would have returned them but no one came over at all to help except for the sommelier who kept pouring our wine. Second course of pasta, the Pomodoro was cold, didn't eat that and at this point, I succumbed to the service and just left it on the table. The bus boy seemed to notice we were being ignored and tried to come back to check but really didn't do much, finally last course took 60 minutes and I am not exaggerating, literally an hour, we sat and drank and tried to enjoy the evening as much as we could since we couldn't go anywhere else at this point but we did speak about leaving. Finally the sommelier noticed we still didn't get our entree at 12:30am, we started at 10am and went to go check on what was happening. Again, never SAW the server, when our entrees came a few minutes later, my pork chop was raw and my husband's rib eye was lukewarm. Service never checked on us and never apologized. We had a visit from the manager who told us he would only charge us only "one meal" and we were so frustrated at this point, we just nodded and I mentioned that my pork chop was inedible and the bus boy put it in a container. He asked why I didn't tell our server and I said, I had not seen the server in the last hour! He then asked to take the container and in the back and about 30 min later brought me a new pork chop to bring home. This was awkward and cringy and I didn't know what to say but I had a talk about the service and the gratuity that was included in the bill which I didn't want to give to our server. Soon after, our absent server walked over to pay us out and I could see about 5 employees all discussing what I has told him in front of us and the server himself rolling his eyes and complaining about his service. Mind you this is only the time we saw him, he dropped off the bill and I left and mostly me and the diners next to me said they would never return. It was that bad and for $600 dollars (bill / drinks) I was so disappointed and I doubt I would return. Overall, one of the worst dining experiences I have had, please do better.

I had a good experience here! I came here with 3 friends for my birthday dinner. We had a reservation at 9:45 pm. We all got there late but they were able to seat us at our table around 10 pm. At first when you walk in, there's a small dining room and a beautiful bar. I didn't realize there was a downstairs, which is where our table was. We were seated in the semi private room on the left. The restaurant is beautiful which is why I picked it for my birthday! I love the dark lighting and exposed brick and "cave-like" features. It's definitely a vibe. We weren't too hungry but my group split 3 entrees: - Chicken parm: this was my second favorite dish. Ck parm was crispy and not soggy! - lasagna: my favorite dish - Bucanti: I would pass on this, but my friends liked it! - Affogato ($15): this is not worth $15. The Affogato at Torrisi is the best one I've had and this one just does not compare. Because our dinner was late and we were seated in the back room, it felt very private and as if the room was just for us! So we were able to take pictures without bothering anyone. Service was good. No one was super duper friendly but they were attentive and constantly filled our waters. They don't have a physical dessert menu so our server had to recite it all from memory which was very impressive!

Our friends raved about this place and we of course were excited (and a bit skeptical at first) to try it. The concept: no menu + no lights + a few questions = the ultimate cocktail experience. The speakeasy vibe and the dark ambiance really makes this place feel even more exclusive. With just a few tables and the bar setting, you're in for an experience you won't forget (unless you answer the wrong questions and really end up with a drink you don't like HA). This wasn't my case. Of course I described my two favorite things: Negroni + mezcal. The obvious answer would be a mezcal Negroni, but that's not why one comes to a place like Attaboy. Our amazing curator came by to ask us all a few questions, write down a few words in the napkins, and mix up the perfect drink that our master bartender crafts, curates and creates. My drink came as I couldn't possibly imagine. It looked like a Negroni smelled like Oaxaca, with all the smoke simmering up and preparing my sensory experience, leading to the best first sip. Ladies and gentleman, I introduce you to The Devil's Backbone. A perfectly balanced drink I'll never forget, one that is sipped slowly and enjoyed thoroughly. It's sexy, it's smoky it's sipped. Attaboy gave the best mixology experience and we can't wait to be back. Pro tip: be sure to be as vocal as possible, even with ice, so you don't end up with a tiki drink if that's not your vibe.

Tucked into the Financial District, this spot blends old New York history with some of the best cocktails in the city--and it's easy to see why it's been named "World's Best Bar" more than once. The name itself has a wild backstory, inspired by a notorious 19th-century Irish-American gang from Five Points. It adds a layer of character to the place, but what really keeps people coming back is the atmosphere and the drinks. The space is split into two levels: a two lively, sawdust-floored Taprooms downstairs and a more refined Parlor upstairs if you're in the mood for a quieter, cocktail-focused experience. Drinks are the real highlight here. The Irish Coffee is widely considered one of the best in the world--rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced with whiskey, coffee, and fresh cream. They also get creative with variations like a frozen version and even an Irish Coffee martini. If you want something different, the "Act Naturally" is a standout, mixing Irish whiskey with Guinness and fig in a way that works. Food is just as impressive for a bar. The lobster deviled eggs (topped with caviar) are a must-try, and the menu leans into elevated comfort food. Overall, The Dead Rabbit nails the balance between historic charm and modern cocktail excellence. The D.R. is one of those places that is never boring and consistently delivers.

Mood lighting, comfortable seating, great drinks in a cozy and Victorian-inspired space are the perfect blend of unique and. I always felt like I was part of something special the few times enjoyed creative, delicious, and strong libations from the pros at the bar. While it has always been pricey, I do feel like the excellent service ambiance, and drink quality warrant this, but may prevent more folks from becoming regulars so to speak. I love the clever and compact bathroom design, too. IYKYK Long live Apotheke!

I could tell you to look for the blue beaker sign that says "Chemist" but the better tell is the random guy sitting on a stool outside. He'll be the only person on the street, so no worries about missing him! The menu has changed over the years, but the quality has not. The bartenders are social and personable. And the prices are in line for the area. My bestie and I loved the vibe. One of the best speakeasies she's had the pleasure of experiencing. Don't miss out on this place!

I wanted to treat an old friend to a quick birthday toast before a show she was attending nearby. Later that night, another friend became available to join but, because they do not actually have a phone that takes calls (only offers an announcement to go to Resy or email) adding another person was not at all easy. I would have had to cancel and rebook and wasn't sure I'd be able to (reservation was for a Saturday night) In most places, a table for 3 easily accommodates 4. But not here. When two of us arrived, they made it clear this was a big problem. I would have walked out right then but I would have been charged $90! We decided to stay and make the best of it, which was a challenge. For a speakeasy, the vibe was aggressive, not relaxing. Very loud music and not great acoustics.) Too cramped to be comfortable, proving that small does not necessarily mean cozy! We asked if we could take a chair from the table next to us, which was empty (it was only 6 pm; I told our server we'd be gone by 7 because my friend, the birthday girl, had to catch a show.) We were told No! To say the waiter was cold, unfriendly, and indifferent is generous. He was totally rude. He literally told my friend she couldn't sit in a chair that was otherwise empty, knowing we'd be leaving momentarily. Then he had the gail to hand me the bill with a 22% tip pre-selected...and watched over me while I signed it! Definitely the least satisfying $100 I have ever spent. Disappointing. It was good to see my friends, but I so wish I hadn't picked this place. Never again.
