Good Trader Joe's with plentiful parking and the items we were looking for were in stock. Nice employees. Highly recommend the creamy toscano cheese soaked in Syrah the donut nectarines are also interesting, try them while they're in season!

This store is across the street from the gym, so I often stop by when I need something. It's located on the upper level of an outdoor mall and there is plenty of parking in the multi-level structure. It's also spacious which makes it easy to navigate between the aisles. They have a nice selection of fresh flowers and a great assortment of greeting cards. The staff that work here are always friendly & helpful.

We needed a few drinks on this summer like day in January and knew we would find what we were looking for and more. Browsing the aisles will make you want to buy things that weren't on your shopping list. There's always some cool goodie that looks so tempting to try. The service is fast even though it can get very busy here.

Spatchcocked turkey simple easy best flavor.

You can always count on trader Joe's for great service great products and great prices. I was pleased when I was doing my shopping for the holidays that I was able to find some items that I hadn't seen before. I tried the spatchcock turkey and it was incredible. Great flavor great spices and it was easy to do when you follow all the instructions. Crew members were helpful in finding side dishes that would work well with my turkey. The parking situation is always interesting. I definitely try to go shopping early to this location it is sometimes hard to maneuver in the parking structure. I like to park on the street if I can. Trader Joe's is definitely worth the trip.

Dear Pasadena Public Health Department Environmental Health Division,…read more I am writing to formally report a serious health code violation and unsanitary conditions observed at Ralphs Grocery Store, located at 160 N. Lake Ave., Pasadena, CA 91101. Incident Details * Date of Observation: Monday, July 27, 2026 * Time of Observation: Approximately 3:00 PM * Location Inside Store: Self-serve bagel and bread display cabinet Description of the Violation The self-serve bagel and bread display case was teeming with flies. Numerous insects were actively flying inside the cabinet and crawling directly all over the uncovered food products. I have captured clear video evidence documenting this infestation, which is available upon request for your investigation. Public Health Risks and Concerns This environment poses an immediate and severe health risk to consumers for several critical reasons: * Pathogen Transmission: Flies carry over 100 dangerous pathogens. They easily transfer hazardous bacteria such as Salmonella, E. coli, Listeria, and Shigella from external waste directly onto the food surfaces. * Direct Contamination: Because flies liquefy solid food, they regurgitate digestive enzymes and defecate on the bakery items. This leaves live bacteria and viruses behind. * Ready-to-Eat Hazards: These items are sold as ready-to-eat foods. Consumers eat them without cooking or heating them first, meaning there is no kill-step to destroy the transferred pathogens. This creates a high probability of foodborne illness. * Prolonged Exposure: The enclosed nature of the display cabinet traps the flies inside, leading to a high concentration of continuous contamination on the food. This active infestation indicates a critical failure in store sanitation, inadequate pest control management, and a clear violation of California retail food safety codes. Please initiate a health inspection of this facility as soon as possible to address this hazard and protect the public. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

But the elderly can't do that so it's why the lines are so long. Now here is the kicker. At the end of the checking line is a manager ...sometimes 2. A man and a woman. They are observing the long lines...counting something...just observing. It would help if THEY just go to the end of a long line and start bagging! See, that would be cool! You see you guys have not scheduled any baggers and the lines are so long they are down the aisles .. and you are just standing there? Of course they may say, well that's not my job. But that's the mentality that keeps things moving slow. It would be so nice if people just did what it takes to keep things moving. Either hire enough people OR get in there and start bagging! I remember back in the days there was a bagger at the end of each checkout aisle. A bagger and a casher! Those days are gone ...and most stores now see if they can get away with overworking the checker! Next thing you know they install self check outs! Rather than hire people and keep a system of people working they just get rid of people and have 1 person observing (like these managers were doing). What a world we are moving towards. But anyways that's what you see. I wish they would just hire bag boys and go back to the good ol days.

9/15/2026 Love the…read morePasadena location! EREWHON COCONUT CAKE Erewhon's coconut cake has organic ingredients in it. This was sliced and stored in the dessert refrigerator section where all the take out foods were located. Loads of coconut flavor with toasted coconut flakes! After each bite, there is a strong coconut flavor, yet you can taste the coconut essence in it versus real coconut flavor too, which detracts from the coconut cake eating experience. Lol. The cream is not as sweet as the cake. The cake itself is denser and had a wet texture versus a fluffy cake texture. That can be a big minus for those who are looking for that fluffy cake texture. Overall it is sweet, but not super sweet. The filling was coconut milk, but it tasted like condensed milk with coconut flavor added to it. Liked the flavor of the filling. It was not as sweet as expected either. The addition of toasted coconut flakes was delish. It really made everything taste better. This cake is still sweeter than Erewhon's Carrot Cake. I haven't had the best coconut cake, so I have nothing to compare this cake to, but I think anyone craving a coconut cake may enjoy this! EREWHON CARROT CAKE Organic ingredients used. One thing that was different was they used almond meal instead of all purpose flour. So the texture is different. It is a dense cake, as expected, but also like the coconut cake it is a wet cake too. Not a cake texture. The flavor is strong! You've got brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg at the first bite. Then the textures and flavors of the carrots, walnuts, and golden raisins and then the cream cheese. Outer layers were coated with chopped walnuts so there was more crunchiness and nutty flavor with each bite! The flavor is reminded me of Fall! A very warm-flavored Fall cake! Loved this more than the coconut cake, as the coconut cake is a one dimensional flavor, but the carrot cake had layers of Fall flavors! Cream cheese was not overly sweet with a hint of cream cheese tang. For those who crave carrot cake, this would be a good alternative when you don't know where to find a decent carrot cake. I would get this again! EREWHON ORGANIC POTATO CHIPS TRUFFLE These chips were delicious! It was thin like Lay's potato chips. The chips were a bit on the smaller side and some were bunched up together in clumps. But that's even more fun to eat! Strong black truffle flavor and saltiness. Would buy again! GIADZY NODI MARINI This is a pasta brand from chef Giada DeLaurentiis. Ordered from her website before she started selling her Giadzy pasta brands at Erewhon! It is on the pricier side, but the Nodi Marini is my favorite pasta from her pasta collection! This is generally called a Vesuvio pasta, a pasta from Campania. Delicious however you cook it! You can probably find this pasta shape from other well known Italian brands as well. TUMERIC CRUSH (Orange juice, carrot juice, pineapple, mango, tumeric, ginger, lemon, beet juice, camu camu) Got this smoothie with a shot of organic coconut oil. Wanted to try this and I thought this was a good healthy option. Served in a 20oz plastic cup, this was a large-sized smoothie! The smoothie tasted like fresh ginger, orange and tumeric. But the overall flavor was of strong freshly ground ginger. Very potent! Smoothie was icy cold too! There was sweetness in it from the other fruit juices in it. I did enjoy it and will get it again. Only downside was the wait time for one smoothie took a long time to make! CUSTOMER SERVICE Every time I'm here the customer service has been great! Staff were nice and helpful. PARKING Love that they have their own free parking lot! It can get crowded during the weekends (of course), but overall you can find parking here otherwise.

Stepping into Erewhon feels like a social experiment - there were a handful of people actually grocery shopping, but it felt like a vast majority were there to grab ready-made food (and/or a smoothie ofc). Although my partner got the Sydney Sweeney smoothie and he has talked about wanting another multiple times since, so I think it's worth trying and making a decision about it for yourself~

I've been coming to this Vallarta for a while, and while I really like many things about the store, the customer service at the service counter/booth has been extremely disappointing. I've gone to the counter/service booth on several occasions to cash a check or take care of other services, and the experience with the lady working there has consistently been unpleasant. She is a lady with blonde hair and always wears a mask covering. She comes across as extremely unfriendly and impatient, and it often feels like customers are bothering her simply by asking for assistance. What bothers me even more is that I've personally witnessed her speaking to other customers in a very rude and disrespectful manner while they are simply trying to get help. I've also seen her treat her own coworkers rudely when they come to the counter needing assistance. It's uncomfortable to stand in line and watch someone be spoken to that way. I understand that working with the public can be stressful, but basic courtesy and respect should still be expected when dealing with customers and coworkers. No one should feel like they are inconveniencing an employee by asking for a service that the store provides. With that said, I do want to give credit where it's deserved. Vallarta has some really good products and food. Their aguas frescas are delicious, and lately I've been getting their rotisserie chicken, which has been really good. The taqueria also serves fresh food, and I've generally had much better experiences with the employees in that department--they are friendly, helpful, and seem to genuinely care about providing good service. It's unfortunate that one person's attitude can make an otherwise good store such an unpleasant experience. I hope management takes customer service seriously, at the service booth because customers deserve to be treated with basic respect.

They showed they don't want my business, so....they won't have my business. I arrived for a pick-up; the wait seemed a little lengthy for the few cars in the pick-up spots. Then a staffer came out, saying that my order had been given to someone else. Mistakes happen, but that means they didn't check the code OR the car description on the order. Funny, they always checked MY details. It gets worse: I was then expected to wait until the other person returned with my groceries. Who would do this? I asked for a refund and left. Any professional store would have apologized and offered to quickly re-shop the order while I waited. Not this Vons! I called back and spoke with the manager on duty, who treated the situation very casually, completely unbothered. So I'm finished dealing with Vons for pick-up and delivery. I've moved my business to the Ralph's on Lake, where they are - so far - quick, professional and friendly with the pick-up service. Sad.
