My wife and I went to Tracy Mazda to look at 2 used Hondas that they had on the lot. When we got to the look and parked we were greeted quickly by Alfonso. I explained that I wanted to look at the two Hondas they had and if we were to purchase one that I would be trading in my car. We took the two for a drive (same year and make and nearly the same mileage) and we decided that we really liked one of them. It had just gotten to the lot so there was still a dent or two in the door and a hole in the upholstery. Alfonso assured us that they would pop the dents and repair the hole as part of the deal as this is something they would normally do but hadn't has time to address yet. Joe, the manager, came out to look at my car that I was trading in and drove it with an appraiser. He came back after about 10 minutes and offered me a very fair price for the trade in. I had done my research on the trade in value and Joe met exactly what I expected to get for the car. The transaction went very smooth and before long we were on the road in our new car. True to his word, Alfonso called and scheduled to have the dent and upholstery guys at the lot. I brought the car back a week later to have the dents popped and the upholstery fixed. They didn't have anymore loaner cars on the lot so Joe loaned me another used car so I could go back to work. 4 hours later the car was fixed and I was back at the lot. Joe looked over the car with me to make sure I was satisfied. I can't say enough great things about the two guys I worked with .They were very attentive and made sure to address any concerns we had. They were professional. Alfonso really went above and beyond to make sure we were getting a fair deal and that we were getting a car that would suit or needs. These guys are definitely worth visiting if you are in the market for a car. read more

Dear Mr. Harvey, Tracy Mazda staff and Mazda USA; I had some issues with my 2008 Mazda Tribute Hybrid early 2012 When the issues were identified as "out of warranty" an estimate to fix the car was presented to me and to tell the truth, I was shocked. My options were presented to me and a course of action to fix my car was agreed upon by both parties. After I let this soak in for a few days, I decided to send the Mazda USA corporation, Mr. Harvey and Chris Noble an e-mail stating my dissatisfaction with Mazda in hopes that this issue would never happen to another Mazda owner. Chris Noble took it upon himself to take up my cause and contacted his counterparts at Mazda USA to let them know what the circumstances behind my frustrations were. I was very happy that he was allowing me to vent to the appropriate people. To my surprise, Mazda looked at the situation and worked with Tracy Mazda and myself to get the issues resolved to my COMPLETE satisfaction. I would like to say THANK YOU!! To Mazda USA , Mr. Harvey, Chris Noble, Chrystal my service advisor and everyone else who helped out on fixing my car, for going above and beyond the call of duty. This situation could have been very frustrating for me and my family but it wasn't, all because they cared about my me and my car. I am speechless and very humble because of their actions.... We have owned two Mazda MPV mini-vans in the past 25 years and never had any major engine problems. Modesto Mazda dealership closed down years ago, so we did regional search and got a quick email back from the Tracy dealership with very reasonable quote on a CX-5 2015 touring edition. Heather Wellbaum contacted us both phone and email. We test drove both a CX-5 and the new "mini-van" and settled on the CX-5. The whole process went smoothly and she located the exact vehicle we wanted for next day delivery. The only hangup in the process was having to wait quite a while to complete the financing due to a shortage of staff. But once we got in with Brian, the zero percent financing was completed quickly. The best part: We knew our numbers, knew our credit score and when we turned down the gap insurance and the extended warranty coverage, there was absolutely no pressure --a big change from the old days of high pressure sales tactics --most welcome! We picked up the car the next day, had our questions answered by Heather very efficiently and have had a follow up phone call and email since then. We are confirmed Mazda lovers and this dealership does it right--no high pressure sales tactics, treats its customers with respect and has a good inventory. This is a late review but none the less, it is very well warranted! In February, I had my CX-5 serviced at another Mazda dealership (oil change) in Southern California where I live and proceeded to make the almost 500 mile drive up to Discovery Bay to visit family. Upon arriving, my husband called me to state that there was an oil leak in our driveway where I normally park my car. This was disturbing since I had just had my oil changed the previous day. I walked outside to look under my car and sure enough, oil had leaked from my car onto my Dad's driveway. I immediately located the nearest Mazda dealership and I am so glad that Tracy Mazda was just that dealership. I was able to make an appointment for the very next day and I am so thankful that Steven Ford was my Service Advisor. Steven handled my car as though it was the only one in for service. Assured me that they would take care of the matter and he did just that. Steven and his tech found that the Southern California dealership did not place the oil plug properly and this caused my car to lose oil as well as spray the engine with oil. The drain plug was tightened, my oil was topped off AND they removed and cleaned my lower splash cover! I cannot thank Steve and the team at Tracy Mazda enough. I wa very pleased with Kendall Cartmell's knowledge and famililiarity with the car she was selling to me. I had been looking at several cars and had shortened my list down to 3. The Hyundai Sonata, the Nissan Altima, and the Mazda3 (I contemplated the Mazda6, but if I was going to that price range I was already sold on the Hyundai Sonata. So, I decided I should at least look at the Mazda3 and see if there was enough room for my comfort. As it was, it had enough room for ny needs. Being satisfied that the Mazda3 was still a good choice for my needs, I felt it would come down to bang for the buck. I had decent offers on both the Altima and the Sonata (I had pretty much decided on the Sonata at this point) and if the Mazda3's offer approached the quote on the Sonata, I would buy the Sonata. So, after trying to get an offer low enough to get me to take the Mazda3 we still had not reached an agreement. Kendall then brought the GM to discuss the offer they had on the table. I told him if the offer was not that dfferent than the Sonata's I would be leaving. Eventually, we got with a $500 difference and we agreed to split the difference and made the deal. I found Kendall to be very pleasant and eay to work with. I knew she was trying to help me get the best bang for my buck. read more

When we bought our last car we traveled extensively in our area test driving every vehicle in the class desired and then went to a dealership to "haggle" for the available model on the lot. It took all evening but we did it. This time thanks to previous experience we didn't have to test drive as much to find the right car. Then we got on the web and periodically ran a search engine for the model we wanted in the desired color, minimum acceptable options, etc. This took about 2 days before we got a hit and it was at Tracy Mazda! Most of the transaction occurred by phone then they delivered the new car to our door for less than we could drive to Tracy and back to get it. Ham, our sales person was very pleasant, competent and diligent throughout the sale which still took about 4 hours but we spent it in front of our computer with the beverage of our choice and in the comfort of our own home instead of a 8x8 office off the show room floor. We signed the final documents at our kitchen table 2 days later after Tracy Mazda representatives explained and displayed all aspects of the vehicle to our satisfaction. Micheal gave me great information about the vehicle I was looking at and convinced me to purchase my vehicle. I have recently bought a brand new mazda6 from this dealership only to realize later that it is rifed with defects and problems. On bringing this up with them, found out that wont take care of the problem which was already present in the car. The only mistake that i i did was not thoroughly checking the car before buying. If after all this you still feel like buying from here, just make sure what you are signing up for and that you will be on your own. They are very rude in handling customers. I'm not sure how are they running business. My sound proof coating was coming off the hood. This has happened in the brand new car. I would advise anyone coming here to be wary of what they say and offer. read more

He went over the cx-5, showing to us, and explaining all the new gadgets, and gave us online resources to help us learn how to use them. His sales manager presented all options available to us and let us pick what we wanted.
