Their flavors are all the Torani syrup pumps and even their house milk tea tastes artificial. There's no grass jelly and I feel like this place is going to give kids diabetes. Why they're still open is beyond me. I did see a lot of kids there with their parents. Probably the only customers they have and target. There are definitely better tea options in Cupertino like Fantasia, happy lemon, T4, sharetea, gongcha. Pretty much any other tea place is better than this. Always consistently too sweet with their drinks even during covid times, mainly because I keep ordering the regular sweetness. I always get their milk tea with a coconut flavor, and decided that pineapple coconut green milk tea would be my go to when i order here. I've never been a fan of flavored syrups. They're too sweet for my liking. I also love grass jelly and they don't have any. When I first tried Tpumps years ago, I claimed it was my favorite boba tea. Now, with much more experience, I can't say the same. Their sizes are HUGE compared to other places. The tea tastes a little watered down. It's like having lipton tea vs. a premium english breakfast tea. If you know your tea, lipton is one of the worst teas out there! Anyway, Tpumps is not horrible but is not something to brag about. They have interesting flavor combinations, and it's priced very fairly compared to other boba shops. $5 for most tea combos, and that includes boba pearls. On Tuesday, you get a free upgrade to a huge size for the same price. The drinks are all VERY sweet. This is coming from someone who asks for extra cream and extra sugar everywhere I go for tea or coffee. I ask for light here, and honestly, I could use a little less than that, too! The lines are out the door on Tuesdays b/c of the free upgrade, but they make the drinks very fast. The rose/vanilla green tea is my favorite, and the pearls are pretty good here, too. First time coming to Tpumps was a little overwhelming because of the huge selection and customization of our drinks. There were so many flavors to choose from and the possibilities are endless. When we went on 9/4/2019, the drinks were cheap for its size (4.50 for a huge size!). The drinks were good, but were a bit too sweet at regular sweetness levels. The boba was okay, very much on the soft side and gelatinous(?) Definitely not my kind of bounciness I like in boba and not very flavorful, but still good. Probably the best boba place in the cupertino area, tied with tptea (and a lot cheaper!!). Is it even real life to get a 24oz milk tea (topping included!) for $3.50+tax??? The standard price in the area ranges from $4-5 now, so this is pretty crazy. And don't worry, the cheap price doesn't compromise the tea quality at all. They use real, good quality tea here and you can definitely taste the tea flavor in all the drinks. I love the almond black milk tea, with boba, less sugar. I also learned that you can adjust sugar levels even more, doing like less(+), less(-), etc. Drinks are still quite sweet with less sugar (think 50-75% sugar level), so if you're a 25-30% sugar person like me, I'd opt for less(-), which is not on the menu, but something you can tell the cashier. I've also tried my friends' fruit milk teas, and you can taste the flavor of each fruit syrup you add. There's limited table seating and a cute couch area. This location isn't too popular yet, but I'm guessing that at peak hours, it may be hard to find space to hang around. Overall, awesome place. Rose Vanilla Green Milk Tea: we got it with light sweetness, less ice, with creamer, and honey boba. Tasted sweet even with light sweetener. Has a strong vanilla flavor. The boba isn't as chewy as I thought it'd be, it was a mix or chewy and non chewy, but still better than others? Lemon pomegranate green tea: less ice, no sugar, with mango popping boba. I thought it was going to be sweet with the syrups since the Rose Vanilla milk tea was sweet with the light sweetener, but turned out with no sweet, just flavor. I don't really like it but it is refreshing without the sweetener. The place has little seating, I wish they could fix that. Great building, this used to be a bonsi shop, then Starbucks took it over, and now it's Tpumps. Parking lot is a headache because Trader Joe's always draws a crowd. My trick is a grab lunch at Taco Bell, then walk across the street to Tpumps, grab my drink and head out. Tpumps is generally overly sweetened. It's good rule of thumb to request less sweet. Why I go here is because they have so many flavors that other boba shops don't have. I think they need to figure out what to do with people who bring in reusable cups. I've done this twice and they still write my order on an empty plastic cup, it's like what's the point in being eco? They need to figure out a way to write on a small piece of paper or something? First time at this location and I appreciate the flow they have with ordering and picking up with the current social distancing regulations. They have you order on one side of the building and pick up on the opposite side. With about 4 people ahead of me the service was pretty quick. Overall time from standing in line to pickup was only about 10 mins. As for our drinks we always get our usuals which is Peach Mango Black Milk Tea and Watermelon Kiwi green tea both made with light sugar. And still some of the best yummy, sweet, brown sugar boba. Always love getting tpumps for our team, the employees at tpumps are always nice and courteous. I was surprised to find out that they don't accept credit card tips. I'm really sad about that because I don't carry cash typically. Well since I couldn't tip today just wanted to at least give a shout out to the cashier girl and team in the back making the drinks. It was at 2:29pm on Sunday 4/11. You guys rock thanks for making great drinks for us on this hot day I'll remember to bring cash next time MANAGEMENT : pls accept tips via credit card. Get a new square terminal with a customer facing unit that allows customers to add tips. Few people carry cash nowadays.. don't let your employees miss out on tips! Great boba tea shop off of De Anza exit from highway 85! I believe this is tpumps' second and newest location (the other is a few miles away), and it appears to be an improvement from the first. While the menu is the same (extensive options, including pre-determined and create-your-own choices), the kitchen area seems cleaner and there are some tables to sit. There is also free WiFi if you want to get some work down. Great vegan treat! I would suggest, if you're sensitive to sweetness, to get light sweetness. I went in around 7pm and whoever the cashier was, was super rude. Since it's Tpump Tuesday, the large size is $5, and my friend ordered the smaller size but I told him to change it to the large size. The cashier in an impolite and rude tone said something along the lines of, "I already wrote it on the cup" and rolled her eyes. This is my first time experiencing this because usually the cashier would simply get a new cup and write the order again instead of rolling her eyes and complaining that she already wrote the order on the cup. It's not that difficult to throw away the old cup, get a new one and rewrite the order. It wasn't even busy or anything so I don't know what her problem was. read more

The workers there are always angry, the last two times I went, they messed up my drink. Both times. Supposedly they have a slogan that if they mess it up that I would get a free remake, even had a picture to prove they messed it up. So I went ahead and bought another since they said no. Parking can be challenging during peak times (during lunch or after school hours) and the line can seem long but they are generally pretty speedy when making your drinks. The menu might seem overwhelming because you can choose three different flavors for your beverage BUT I have never had a bad drink from there. My go to drink is Passion Fruit, Peach, Rose Green Milk Tea and while the combination might seem weird, it is very refreshing and not too overly sweet or fruity. They often have samples of different flavor combinations which is how I found my go-to drink. On Tuesdays, they offer their large size (32 oz.) for the same price as their Tpumps size (24 oz.)! read more

TPumps is one of my favorite places to get boba since it has so many options and combinations to try! Usually the lines are pretty long but recently with COVID-19 there's been little to no line. They have pretty good precautions; you order on one side at the door and then pick up your drink at the door on the other side. They're pretty consistent and super fast at making the orders so it's pretty easy to just swing by and pick some up. They're also way cheaper than most places which is an added bonus. My usual drink is the strawberry mango passion green milk tea with honey boba, but their popping boba is also really good! Another nice thing about this new location is that in the old one they never really had anywhere to sit or stand because it was pretty small, but in this location there's a good amount of seats (even though right now you can't and probably shouldn't loiter around) Honestly a pretty good place to try out :) read more

I'm writing this review because of the A+ customer service at this place. My cup got so sticky because of the syrup left on it when I received. One of the staffs there offered to take it back to clean it and he also handed a wet paper towel for me to clean my hand. Well, little details count. He also offered to make me a new drink if I'm not satisfied with mine. Thumbs up for the excellent and friendly service.
