I am not too sure about the hype around this place, however, it must be given the cuteness and ambience. As with other Yelpers, this location is actually quite inconvenient as there are about six spaces available for an otherwise very popular boba shop. So depending on your luck, you may need to wait around until a spot opens up. Others have reported parking elsewhere and walking over. On a Wednesday mid afternoon, this place was packed. The staff was friendly and took the time to answer my questions. My drink took perhaps about 10 minutes to be served up. I wasn't impressed by my oolong milk tea drink. It is really my test as a comparison with the plethora of boba places around the Bay. And for that, I most likely will not be returning anytime soon. read more

I've really been wanting to try Molly Tea, especially after hearing many of their other locations were closing down or going through rebrands, etc. The Bay Area stores are unaffected, but I didn't want to miss my chance so I came here right when they opened on the weekend. Parking is super limited, but we snagged a spot in their very small lot. Ordering on the kiosk super easy and I downloaded their app to get a dollar off my first drink. Plenty of seating inside but I could imagine it gets quite crowded inside quickly! The service was also really quick and my drink came out within 5-ish minutes! I got the snowy jasmine and honestly it was fine but nothing to rave about. Molly Tea is a hyped up boba shop across the street from Main Street Cupertino. The store is relatively clean but can get very crowded. The drinks are kind of expensive but the quality does not reflect the price point. The boba was really soft and more like a paste than a tapioca ball. Molly Tea has become one of my go to places for milk tea. I used to go to the one in Sunnyvale and that parking lot is so small and crazy sometimes. I'm so happy that they opened this Cupertino location. Parking lot still sucks, but you can park in the neighborhood and walk. I usually get the jasmine oat milk tea at 50% sweet. I love that you can taste the jasmine tea and the oat milk is not overpowering. The jasmine mango coconut is also good and refreshing. It reminds me of the mango one at heytea. Service can vary depending on the day, but there are plenty of seats inside for you to sit down and wait. I usually like to order online and pick it up. Overall, highly recommend Molly tea. The jasmine whipped cream with pecan is by far the best item on their menu. I could have it by itself. Molly Tea has very strong floral notes and is definitely on the less sweet side, which I like. They recommend ordering above 70% sweetness if you want it more sweet. We've ordered it for delivery a few times and the packaging itself seems over-the-top secure. I don't get the hype T^T this is third go at Molly tea, got all the different types of milk tea plus the jasmine whipped cream. The floral taste is nice, but tea is the wrong word to describe it. They're more like flower water, everything a bit watered down. We tried the oolong milk tea mixes and it definitely is better but to be honest, heytea is even better. My first time trying Molly Tea and I'm disappointed. I knew that the wait would be a while since it was a Saturday, so I downloaded the mobile app and ordered ahead of time. The estimated time they gave us was wildly inaccurate. Once we got there and went inside, it was an additional half an hour wait. It is absolutely chaotic in there - completely packed with people ordering at the kiosk (which also had a long line), and just a ton of people waiting for their drinks. My husband and I got the Jasmine milk tea (add brown sugar boba +.99 - total 7.98) and I got a peach tieguanyin oolong milk tea (6.59). Both with regular sugar 100% and less ice. Both drinks were extremely watery. The floral notes of the tea does come through and it tastes like higher quality than average. However, it was way too watered down. The brown sugar boba was also extremely mediocre and was mushy, not QQ at all. 100% sweetness was about right, but since it was so watered down it didn't matter anyways. Peach flavor (essence) was quite strong in my drink as well, but also, again just watered down as a whole. I will say the pink packaging is cute for photos. Definitely not coming back anytime soon, though. read more

I personally like my drinks on the sweeter side so I got 100% sweetness and less ice. 100% sweetness was still not very sweet (comparable to 70%) but it's still very good. A Molly Tea was right next to our dinner spot so I finally had to try it after seeing it pop up everywhere. The line was pretty long but it moved quickly and our drinks were done in no time. I think this was okay, if the mangoes were sweeter it would be better. I also thought that it's better without the jasmine flavor. My brother and I came here after lunch as I wanted to try a new milk tea place. I ordered the Tongmu Lapsang Bubble Tea, 50% sugar while my brother had the Jasmine Matcha, 70% sugar. At first when I looked at the website, I wasn't too eager as there didn't seem to be many options. However, in store (and online ordering) - there were plenty of options to choose from. I guess each store had their own variety to choose from, so make sure to ch co each store's specific menu. Since we came mid day on a weekday, there weren't that many people inside. However, one look at the counter would tell you it was busy! There were tons of orders lined up for pick up. We waited about 10-15 minutes after ordering for our drinks. On the kiosk, there was a promotion, but I couldn't activate it. I asked the staff about it and she said it would start tomorrow - bummer. Staff seemed friendly and they were certainly efficient at their jobs. Overall, my brother enjoyed his drink, but didn't have much comments on it. I liked my bubble tea - the brown sugar boba pearls were a nice consistency and had good flavor. The tongmu lapsang tea was good - not too rich, but definitely not too weak in tea profile either. Everything paired well at 50% sugar. My only complaint is the lack of option of sizes - I finished my drink way too quickly and would have liked the option to order a bigger size (I know - I probably shouldn't, but I make the most of my treat when I have it!). The establishment is spacious, esthetically beautiful, and there were plenty of seating options. My bright idea of buying gift card absolutely crashed and burned. Apparently Molly Tea doesn't offer gift card purchases- BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I did, however, walk away with the PREMIUM JASMINE MILK TEA [#1 top seller]. I made the request for 70% sugar level + crystal boba. The quality of ingredients used is undeniable. The tea is brewed to perfections, leaving you with a bright fragrant taste of jasmine without overshadowing it with the other ingredients. Drinks are made fresh and are so refreshing. Crystal boba was addictively textured and tasted great. 5/5 stars. This spot isn't for you if you are more interested in overly sweet, artificially flavored drinks. The hype around Molly Tea is SO real and I had to see what it was about for myself. My husband and I came to the Cupertino location and first things first, parking is not great and it gets BUSY. The wait was a little long but nothing crazy and totally expected given how crowded it was. The premium jasmine matcha was good and you can really taste both the matcha and the jasmine, which is actually pretty uncommon compared to other boba spots where the flavors get lost. My only regret was adding boba because it was hard and tasted a bit old, which took away from the drink for me. On the other hand, the pistachio jasmine coconut was VERY different but in the best way. You could literally taste all the flavors at once and it was surprisingly so good. Overall, I would definitely come back. I'm so glad they opened up more locations! The parking is a bit better than the Sunnyvale location, teas are great! We got the pistachio white champaca coco, white champaca oolong milk tea, white champaca milk tea, and tongmu lapsang milk tea. I think the pistachio white champaca coco and white champaca oolong are my favorites. I feel like the tea flavor in the white champaca milk tea is too light for me, so I prefer the oolong a lot more. Y'all I get the hype ok Molly Tea is so good! ! ! My favorite flavor of boba is jasmine milk tea so a shop that specializes in that is 2 gud 2 b tru. I ordered the premium jasmine milk tea at 50% sweet and the jasmine apple milk tea at 30% sweet. Both turned out the perfect level of sweet!! I will say, though, both tasted pretty much exactly like drinks I could buy at a 7/11 in Taiwan but at like 3x the cost...sadge. Still, I am gratitude to get that flavor in the U.S. The interior decor was super adorable and featured wood tones, pink accents, and plenty of seating! Unfortunately, this location is incredibly packed and has very limited parking (see attached photo). Whilst waiting for your beverages, I recommend perusing the wall of polaroids dedicated to furry patrons of Molly Tea. I endorse it because I love cats meow meow meow. This Molly Tea location is in a plaza with other stores so there's very limited parking, but we decided to stop by since we're in town for the holidays. We ordered ahead on the app and the drinks were estimated to be done in 15 minutes. We got to the store a few minutes early and the drinks were already ready so that was really nice. The store is brightly lit and nicely decorated inside, with a good amount of seating. We got the Tongmu Lamsang Bubble Tea off their new menu and the drink was a good cocoa flavor, but the boba was just okay. We also got the Jasmine Milk Tea, which is my favorite drink from here, and it never disappoints! I hope they open more Molly Tea locations in SoCal. Will keep coming back for the jasmine :) read more
