Y'all I get the hype ok Molly Tea is so good! ! ! My favorite flavor of boba is jasmine milk tea so a shop that specializes in that is 2 gud 2 b tru. I ordered the premium jasmine milk tea at 50% sweet and the jasmine apple milk tea at 30% sweet. Both turned out the perfect level of sweet!! I will say, though, both tasted pretty much exactly like drinks I could buy at a 7/11 in Taiwan but at like 3x the cost...sadge. Still, I am gratitude to get that flavor in the U.S. The interior decor was super adorable and featured wood tones, pink accents, and plenty of seating! Unfortunately, this location is incredibly packed and has very limited parking (see attached photo). If you do not have a bud-tea to drop you off and circle around vaguely until you finally get your drinks, it is GG. Whilst waiting for your beverages, I recommend perusing the wall of polaroids dedicated to furry patrons of Molly Tea. I endorse it because I love cats meow meow meow. I dream of the Premium Jasmine Milk Tea always. 70% sugar and less ice. The golden ratio. The tea here is perfectly floral and fragrant! The milk is not too overbearing and still has a refreshing creaminess. It's just so good! The White Champaca Milk Tea and Gardenia Milk Tea are really solid options too! Add matcha if you're interested in switching it up :) This is probably one of my favorite locations. Much more spacious than San Mateo and Sunnyvale. However, this one has the worst parking! I would recommend parking at the Main Street Cupertino Plaza and walking over if you have the time. read more

This Molly Tea location is in a plaza with other stores so there's very limited parking, but we decided to stop by since we're in town for the holidays. We ordered ahead on the app and the drinks were estimated to be done in 15 minutes. We got to the store a few minutes early and the drinks were already ready so that was really nice. The store is brightly lit and nicely decorated inside, with a good amount of seating. We got the Tongmu Lamsang Bubble Tea off their new menu and the drink was a good cocoa flavor, but the boba was just okay. We also got the Jasmine Milk Tea, which is my favorite drink from here, and it never disappoints! I hope they open more Molly Tea locations in SoCal. I know they can be a bit slow when there's lots of people there but they do try to work as fast as they can. When it's not crowded, you can easily find seats to sit around and hang with your friends. My biggest complaint is the parking situation. Their parking area is really small so most of the time, you have to find parking in the neighborhood. If you park in a spot reserved for other stores, the store managers will complain to the workers. The spa parking lots have their workers looking out the windows almost 24/7 to make sure MollyTea customers aren't parking there. read more

Came back with my friend a second time and got the premium jasmine tea with matcha cream top and finally understood the hype. They're able to make the tea very strong and fragrant even when combined with milk. The matcha cream top has a prominent high quality taste with the perfect consistency. I understand it was busy, but the staff member, Indy, seemed unwilling to help me with my order. I brushed it off because I was only there to pick up my tea. After I picked up my drink, I took a sip and noticed that sugar had been added. I went back to the counter and told Indy that there was sugar in my tea. This was not the first time my order had been made incorrectly, but I understood they were busy, so I simply wanted the drink remade. However, when I told Indy, his first reaction was to deny it. He said that if the sticker said "no sugar," then there should not be any sugar in the tea. I told him again that there was sugar in it. He then brought another staff member over and repeated that there was no sugar in the tea. I had to explain for a third time that the drink tasted sweet because I had already taken a sip. Indy then asked, "How do you know?" I told him, "Because I took a sip and it tastes sweet." The other staff member he brought over immediately asked if I wanted another cup without sugar, and I said yes. Im not sure where the question "how do you know its sweet?" Comes from because obviously I had a sip to find out it was sweet. I'd been really looking forward to trying Molly Tea, especially since I'm a big fan of jasmine tea and that's one of their specialties. I was also curious about their mango drinks to compare them with Heytea and Macu. The mango drink did taste noticeably fresher, with off-season mango. But, I wasn't a huge fan of the harder clear jellies. Overall, I'd still choose Heytea's Mango Grapefruit Boom, especially considering Molly's version is smaller and pricier for what you get. Their jasmine matcha, however, was a standout. You can taste both the jasmine and the matcha clearly, and the balance is smooth, creamy, and well done. I ordered online for pickup, which was easy. They have a small parking lot and a decent amount of indoor seating. It looked clean and smelled really nice inside. The first time I tried the Snowy Jasmine, I was hooked. I know it's skiing season but not that kinda snow. Molly Tea's Snowy Jasmine is a floral jasmine milk tea topped with jasmine-infused fluffy whipped cream and a sprinkle of crunchy caramelized pecans. At 30% sweet (they recommend 70%), it was light and creamy with a kiss of sweet. Floral but not perfume-y. To nitpick, the tea flavor could be stronger but it's my fav drink there. Props to the staff. They're highly efficient and detail-oriented, making sure lids are secure, and wiping down each cup. Like their other locations, we always quickly receive our drinks after ordering unlike *cough cough* Chicha San Chen down the ways. Also, I love that their locations are dog-friendly with free pup cups on Mondays and Tuesdays. Why not 5 stars? I finally tried Molly Tea! The Sunnyvale location is a nightmare and I've never been able to try it. When I found out the Cupertino locations open, I gave it a try. This location is so nice and a little roomier than the Sunnyvale one. It has two entrances to the inside which is very convenient. I would say the parking here is a slight upgrade from the location. There is much more seating and tables here in case you want to come to study. The quality of drinks here is just as good as the Sunnyvale location. I'm not sure if I just got the wrong drink or if I went on an off day for them, but I just didn't feel like my drink was worthy of all their hype.
