Upon entry there's two self service kiosk just placed your order payable by credit or debit type in your phone number and when ready via text for pick up. Menu items simple and easy chose Thai tea brulee tornado comes in large size only request 30% sweetness regular ice perfect not too sweet very light refreshing taste not bland or tasteless. Service quick only downsize limited seating small interior and no appertizers which would have been no outdoor seating what a bummer. Wasn't too busy on a Thursday afternoon just picked up mocha and donuts next door at Christy's parking is a real challenge in this busy shopping center with.so many surrounding business. read more

Came here with a friend on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. Right when you walk in, there's two kiosks that you can order from. I usually get the tie guan yin milk tea because I think theirs is a good balance between milk and tea, and there's a bit of a roasty flavor. Even at 50% sweetness, it's pretty solid because I notice that when I get 50% sweetness at other boba spots, the milk tea taste is very weak. Been here 3 times since they opened to try the noodles add ons which I've been hearing so much about but every single time it's always been sold out. I've come here at 1pm, 5pm, and 7pm and every time no noodles. Can't speak on the service as you order from the kiosk and an automated system calls out your name which is cool. There isn't much seating so if you want to sit and chill, you can if there's no one there but mainly it's pickup and leave. The drinks themselves taste like any other milk tea place, how the youngins say "mid". Cute little spot in Berryessa plaza. Seems brand new, with great lighting, minimal seating, and very friendly workers. Their menu is rather large but they have limited hot drink options. The review is mostly for the drink itself. We ordered a fifty percent sweet strawberry milk tea with boba. Total, including a 74 cent tip, came out to about $8.40. I expected it to be really good but the milk tea was gritty and the boba was not QQ at all or even sweetened. They were small and soggy with no chew or flavor, and took away from the drink. Woohoo! When I found out that TP Tea was opening up in Berryessa, I was so excited that I wouldn't have to go to Pleasanton or Cupertino to get my TP Tea fix! TP Tea just had their grand opening and they are still learning the ropes. The Berryessa location is very small with only three small tables inside (with seating only one on one side of the table). I came on a weekday after their grand opening and there were only 4 people ahead of me when they opened. By the time I finished ordering, the line was going out the door. They don't have their self-ordering kiosk running yet so they are taking orders at the front. At the time I went, they only had about 3 workers making drinks. It took roughly 20-25 minutes for my drinks to come out and they apologized for the long waits as they are still learning how to function as effectively as possible. My go to is the Tie Guan Yin milk tea with boba. The tea flavor was there (strong, fragrant) but I found it slightly less potent in comparison to the other locations - maybe just another thing they're still working out. Boba texture is still on point - perfectly chewy! Staff here are very friendly, patient, and all had warm smiles! They currently do not have online ordering via SnackPass yet, but I overheard one of the workers say that they're hoping to have online ordering in the next month or so. I will definitely return to TP Tea, especially when they have online ordering available to avoid the wait times, and am looking forward to seeing this location flourish! read more

Pricing is decent for the quality of the drink, and service is always swift, accommodating, and kind despite the crazy rush of customers sometimes. While you wait, you can always take a seat and admire their pretty marble interior, maybe even lose yourself in the cozy café atmosphere. Of the drinks I've tried, my favorite has to be the Strawberry Matcha Latte. If the vibrant color of the drink itself doesn't entice you, then the first sip WILL. Historically, I've never been the biggest fan of oolong, but the ever-present flavor of oolong tea tinged with a subtle, almost gentle kick of caffeine made for a very memorable experience. Such an impressive blend of tea, milk, and coffee with so many unique notes -- it almost changed my mind on oolong! Moving to their icy drinks, their Mango Passion Smoothie is so refreshing! A perfect treat if you need a boost in energy and mood after work or school; both the mango and passion fruit are very fresh and aromatic, so it feels healthy to drink. Is it really though? That may depend on the sweetness level, which you can freely adjust to your liking. Lastly, their strawberry milk tea is NOT your typical strawberry milk tea drink. The texture is actually closer to a smoothie because it's blended with ice, but it still has all of the flavors of a traditional milk tea. It's sweet, invigorating, and successfully revived me from the dead after a brutal exam week. For that alone, it holds a high place in my heart. I ordered a smoothie from there and I didn't notice it when I was drinking my drink in the beginning, but towards the end I felt I something in my mouth. When I pulled it out, it was a little string of plastic!!! I thought it was nothing at first but after a few more sips there were more stringy little pieces of plastic!! Who knows how much more plastic I consumed... Idk how this location is handling the making and sealing of their drinks, but mine was a complete disappointment from the plastic. This is one of their newer (it has been a few months), as well as smaller location - surprised they opened up only a few doors down from another boba shop. Good amount of shared parking here. It was not too busy here, but it seems like one of their slower locations as well. I ordered their Premium Jasmine Fresh Milk Tea (Tea Latte), but it tasted a bit different and off compared to their other locations. It became a bit busy after I got my drink and tried it, so I just took the L and left. This is a fairly new location to Berryessa so my friend and I stopped by here since it's closer. This location was more of a pick up and go as the inside is small. They did have three small tables and chairs to sit but mostly everyone was standing outside waiting for their drink. I ordered the mango fruit tea with jelly and reduced sweetness. It was nice and refreshing and it tasted like it was made with real mango rather than mango syrup. When I drank it, you can taste the mango grainy ish texture when it's in a drink. The tea flavor however wasn't as strong as I was expecting. They do have competition next door so if nothing interests you from TP, you can walk two stores down to check out Tastea. Does not love up to the expectations of the TP tea locations in Santa Clara or Cupertino. The Tie Guan Yin being the most popular, and my personal favorite, I had to order it here to compare. It tasted more "sugar water-y" than the other locations, as the others have a really good creamy taste. It is still grand opening time, but they don't currently have any deals, and they are not open for very long. They also don't have their mobile ordering app set up yet, so the line was long, and you can wait for your drink for at most 30 mins. But i think longest i waited was 15-20 minutes for 4 drinks, which was not bad. Parking lot is small though, as they share the parking/plaza with Tastea and a hot dog restaurant. The inside itself is very small, so there isnt really any seating area for anyone to chill. Just seating to wait for your drink, but wouldn't feel adequate sitting there for long periods of hours. Again, this is within their grand opening so I'm sure things will get better down the line. As it stands, this place is around a 3/5 considering what local competitors offer. Tastea will get my drink out in 5 min or less. Give this place another month or two and let them dial things in.
