We went during lunch hour and it was pretty crowded. I think the whole process took a lot longer than we expected. The self service checkout takes a while for a lot of customers and then the drinks were also piling up so we waited for about 15 minutes for our three drinks. The plus side is that they have a screen that shows you the estimated wait time. Now for the drinks we all got different variations of the Tie Guan Yin teas. The cheese foam and fresh milk version were both watered down and lacked flavoring. The milk tea version was decent. Overall, this place is average. read more

Quick fast service. there's options to order through the cashier or the kiosk. The matcha tornado is my favorite it's not too sweet and the matcha is perfectly creamy and not too bitter. I actually liked the place at grand opening day though they were packed with people, at least there are service provided. Came here 2x after, and the quality of drinks were consistent. The reason I gave 2 stars: They have 2 stations where you can self check-out, and they literally just let the customers do it themselves when clearly people were confused to how to operate the machines.....so employees were just standing behind the counter waiting for orders to come in. All of that would have been fine if you only have 1 or 2 customers in the shop then they can take their sweet time. But the lines were getting long, and you wondered what's taking so long?? It's not because the business is doing so well, and that there are so many customers. It was because no one is helping the customers, or help with ordering process when customers are stuck and have no one to ask.....It's really a pain when you are standing in line waiting for the person in front to figure out how to place their order!!! We come here at least once a week for their TGY milk tea. Their boba, pudding, and coffee jelly have some sweetness so i recommend getting 50% or 80% sugar on the drink. Boba consistency is nice and chewy. Caffeine is pretty high it gets our hearts pumpin everytime. Perfect for when you need to get stuff done. Not when you need to sleep in a couple hours. Staff is consistently nice. Recommend to order online on busy days so you dont have to wait as long. Their strawberry milk tea is also good, note that it's also high in caffeine. Grand opening - I got the Moo! my Taro and it was so good. The next two times that I went and ordered the same drink- instead of the swirl that they did inside the cup, they just dump the taro at the bottom in the cup now. Not only it's hard to drink, it doesn't dissolve well like the swirl form. When one sees customers lined up because of one slow customer, It should be common sense for management to add a few more terminals. The store is already saving hundreds of thousands by cutting out 3 out 4 order takers, might as well spend a few thousands for terminals. I can understand if there's a bottleneck in making the drinks, but it's just insanity to have the bottleneck at the entry point. So get 2 or 3 more terminals, inside or even outside the store, let the customers get thru the first step quickly so they can move on to wait for the drinks. read more

I love that TP Tea is expanding branches. Although this location is in its soft opening stages, the quality doesn't vary too much from Irvine as well as Bay Area and I appreciate that! Granted it is soft opening, but when it takes a while to receive your order(only two drinks) and you still manage to mess up on one of the drinks, it really lets you down. Ordered jasmine green tea but got jasmine green milk tea... when asked about it was told "if you like we can make another"... no sorry or anything... under normal circumstances obviously would wait for the Correct order but there is no way I want to spend another 10 min for the correct drink I had to just take it. I came today 6/9 around 1145AM I thought they open at noon according to Yelp and Google but when I arrived the line was already very long. I really wanted the free tote as I thought it is super cute however they ran out by the time I ordered which was a bit disappointing. Today they had buy one get one free (from 4 selections) promotion which was nice. I ordered the usual tie guan yin fresh milk tea 30% sugar which was good. I also like their winter melon lemon tea. The price is around $6. They also charged an operation fee of 18cents I don't really know what it's for. I would come again if no crazy line. read more

Used to have to drive to Irvine to get my 'fix' lol but now this location is much closer for us.my absolute favorite is the strawberry milk tea. I get it with no added sugar since I don't care for super sweet drinks. But the strawberry and milk have the perfect balance and sweetness that I feel added sugar would take away from it. My hubby loves the fantastic fruit and passion fruit tea. He again doesn't get drinks super sweet so we opt for either 30% sweet or 0% sweet. You can't go wrong with any of the teas! Staff is wonderful and we wish the manager Megan nothing but success!! She's super friendly and knowledgeable and will help you make any decision if you are torn! Love the drinks here. Diamond bar is starting to be a place with a lot of great boba shops, I'm real happy I don't have to drive to Irvine for my fix of boba noodles anymore. The boba noodles are the best topping to get here, taste and texturewise they really go well with the milk teas here. Also, the matcha at this place never disappoints; I'm always a little apprehensive about ordering matcha sometimes as some places make matcha too milky to where the taste is gone.
