I wanted to go to Yummy Bakery for Vietnamese coffee (but they were already closed). We were looking for Vietnamese coffee for my girl that had to work graveyard and stumbled upon R&B Tea. The place was clean and easy to find w plenty of parking, and service was friendly. My friend has NEVER had Vietnamese coffee before so she was in for a treat!! IYKYK!! The coffee was bold and strong but still had good enjoyable flavor. It wasn't as strong as other Vietnamese coffees I've had, so she didn't get the "real" surprise and experience that Vietnamese coffee gives.

Looking back at the other reviews, I should've gotten a different drink. I already lowered my expectations for their matcha stormy because OMOMO is the best there is out there. However, the graininess and matcha quality they used was not very good. I would not recommend this drink. The egg waffle was decent as it was crispy and chewy on the inside. It's not too sweet at all but overall, I would probably just stick with OMOMO for their version of a matcha freeze.

After dinner nearby, we knew we wanted boba afterwards and purposely saved room for it! R&B Tea was on the opposite end of the plaza, which worked out as we worked off a little bit of dinner by walking here. I ordered a jasmine green milk tea ($5.75) at 50% sweet with easy ice and boba ($0.75). Just the right amount of sugar with the right consistency for the boba. Would definitely order again (and also possibly try their matcha milk tea or roasted oolong milk tea). Post-dinner boba craving met! Thanks Tiffany for taking care of our large group order! They have two small tables in the front and more table space in the back for hanging out and playing board games. We picked The Logo Game and learned new facts about products and logos and what not from the game. Did you know that Baskin Robbins had 31 flavors particular to cover each day of the month? I didn't, until the game. Fun times. Plenty of parking spots in this large plaza.

This location is just like the Rosemead location except there is more parking available here. They sell blind boxes - Sonny angels and labubus. The cups are super cute here. The Strawberry snowy was yummy. It is like a strawberry smoothie with boba. Prices are fair and service was good. There was only one employee working here. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area. Good spot to study or chat with friends.

SUPER CUTE Milk and Mocha collab!! Quick service and delicious chewy boba. Sparkling interior and plenty of seating to chat with friends and shop for blind boxes and collectibles. Ordered the brown sugar milk boba and it had the perfect amount of milk and syrup. :) Boba craving was satisfied!

Friend and I decided to come here after dinner for the Taro Stormy that looked amazing on the Yelp photos. When I walked in, I realized I've been here before years ago! I could not recollect whether it was a good or bad experience but since I don't remember, it probably wasn't a bad experience. Ordered the Taro Stormy which is one of their top 10. Added a crème brûlée topping, which ended up being a crème brûlée mixture on the top of the drink rather than chunks of crème brûlée pastries in my drink (which would have been amazing). The Taro Stormy did not have much taste by itself. My poor friend who ordered it 50% sweet pretty much only tasted ice. My Taro Stormy had a similar issue but it was mitigated since the Crème brûlée topping added just enough flavor to make it enjoyable to finish drinking - which isn't saying much. I'm finally writing a review here to make sure I get something else if I do come back by accident in the future.

I had no idea that this place was the same boba shop that I went to yesterday, where I did not have such a great experience. I will start by saying thanks for being fair about actually adding more than what they gave me at the other location. When I ordered no ice for my drink, they were fair about the portion they gave me. The other shop in Corona unfortunately didn't do the same, but they did do a 10% off check-in. Even if they do check-in discounts, they shouldn't add lesser liquid to people's drinks. I also ordered the market sausage, but I think it's a little too expensive. They weren't as good as I thought they'd be. Also, I wish they had popcorn chicken today..

Very disappointing, service was slow and not very welcoming, the layout of the store is not efficient, and drinks were not good. I've been to other R&B tea locations that I really enjoyed so I was very disappointed with this location and will likely not return. Ordered two Mango yakult drinks and they separated quickly and just did not taste good. When I've ordered this at other locations it tastes much better.

I think all the boba shop is competing who gives the less boba for $0.75.

Nowadays boba shop gives very little boba as an add on toppings. Every shop is competing who gives the least.

Service was really nice and there's cute little things you can buy in the store like Sonny angels and smiskis. The drinks were decent in my opinion, I tried the Thai green milk tea and lemon kumquat tea but I'll have to try their other drinks. Cute mom and pop boba shop vibe, it's a good spot to get some boba and hang out or study. They have some limited seating and it does get busy!

I was looking for a new place to try and found it on Yelp. They're located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. The customer service was good. I was greeted upon entry and was able to place right away. The inside of the shop is cute. It's decorated nicely. They have a large variety of drinks and snacks. I ordered a Rose Oolong Milk Tea with crystal boba and cheese cream. I also ordered the lemon pepper popcorn chicken. The drink tasted good, but I couldn't really taste the cheese cream. The crystal boba was a bit on the firm side with a light chew. The popcorn chicken was perfectly crispy, but the pieces were light on chicken. I will return and try something different.

    Thai Black Milk Tea

This was my first time here and the vibes were cool, and the merchandise that's sold here was super fun Like sonny angels and Labubus etc.! But I feel like the service was very poor and an overall rude demeanor. Didn't get welcomed in, which is okay, I understand it can get busy sometimes. But when I went to order, as it was my first time there, I asked for a recommendation and I just got brushed off. It suddenly made me feel little uncomfortable. I just let it go though, I understand sometimes everything can't be 100% but when the drink came out after 15-20 mins waiting... it tasted very bad. That's when I just decided this spot wasn't one I would return to. Mind you I just ordered a Thai iced tea. I couldn't even try to like it.. Sorry. I really wanted to love this spot but it's was overall 3/10 ):

Matcha lovers, this one is worth the stop…read more I visited Chayan not too long after they opened, and this was such a good find in Rowland Heights. First of all, the space itself is beautiful. The traditional Chinese-inspired aesthetic gives the shop such an elegant, calm atmosphere. It isn't overly flashy or trying too hard to be trendy--it just feels peaceful and thoughtfully put together. Definitely the kind of place where you can slow down and actually enjoy your tea. But let's talk about the reason I came here: the Matcha Green Tea Frappe. SO. GOOD. What immediately stood out to me was that this didn't taste like one of those drinks where the actual matcha gets completely buried underneath sugar. You can genuinely taste the matcha and the quality of the tea. It has that distinct matcha flavor while still being creamy and enjoyable. And the topping?! Instead of just throwing regular whipped cream on it, they top it with whipped matcha and roasted peanuts, which gives it this really interesting combination of creamy, earthy, nutty flavors. The peanuts add a little texture and complement the matcha surprisingly well. It tasted intentional rather than just sweet for the sake of being sweet. That's probably my biggest recommendation before coming here: if you're looking for an extremely sugary, dessert-style matcha, this may not be what you're looking for. This is much more about actually tasting the tea. If you want something loaded with sugar where the matcha disappears somewhere in the background... Starbucks is right there. But if you appreciate a more balanced drink where you can actually taste good-quality matcha, I absolutely recommend giving Chayan a try. Beautiful atmosphere, quality tea, unique flavors, and an overall really relaxing experience. I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu.

There's seating indoors with the ordering kiosks. Unfortunately, the tea flavor wasn't very strong and it was more milky. Not too sweet even at the Recommended levels so that's good. Black Tea Cold Brew: not strong enough and just tasted generic. Da-Hong-Pao Tea Frappe: very milky with a hint of a nutty black tea. The cream and crunchies on top were a nice addition. Osmanthus & Lychee Lemon Tea: very refreshing and sweeter than the other drinks. I'd definitely recommend it. With so many boba places in the area, especially with ChaHalo down the street, it might be difficult to succeed.

Their merchandise (magnets, hair accessories. ..) is super cute. We ordered their milk tea flight, which included a jasmine milk tea, osmanthus milk tea, and a dark/black milk tea. We also got the lychee smoothie, oolong milk tea and the lemon kumquat tea. All our drinks were ordered at 50% sweetness. All drinks were a hit. The jasmine milk tea tastes very similar to a milk tea competitor that shares the same name scheme (Cha_ _ _). ChaHalo has good boba and more variety, though, which is a plus! Their lychee smoothie was perfectly sweet at 50%. The oolong milk tea had the perfect milk to tea ratio, and the lemon kumquat tea was refreshing. Out of the drinks in the flight, the jasmine milk tea was best, then osmanthus if you like the floral tea flavor, and lastely the dark milk tea, which wasn't anything special. There were a few small tables inside, and seating in their patio. Drinks came out quickly and service was efficient and friendly. We will be back!

However, what stood out to me was the lightness of the drink compared to other places that leave me feeling bloated/full. I also love their ambience! Lots of seats and the smell of herbal tea. Another amazing drink is the Cassia Black Tea with Mousse. The tea itself tastes robust and slightly malty, while the mousse adds a silky and creamy texture that enhances the drink. My husband especially likes the drinks from the Lemon Condensed Milk series. Each cup is freshly brewed to order and has a strong tea base, which is exactly how I like it. This particular location only has one ordering kiosk and only a couple of small tables. It is definitely more of a grab-and-go type of place. The premium tea taste and tea quality here are consistent with other locations I've been to. I like that we can see into the kitchen and watch the drinks being made. The shop itself was clean and filled with a pleasant tea aroma that created a welcoming first impression. Service was average, with nothing particularly memorable about the visit. Considering the relatively small size of the drinks, paying over $8 per drink felt difficult to justify. **Green Tea with Boba: 2.5/5** For a tea shop renowned for its freshly brewed-to-order teas, this drink was surprisingly lackluster. It tasted noticeably watered down and had very little of the fresh, fragrant jasmine tea flavor I was expecting. The chewy boba was the highlight, offering a pleasant texture with just the right amount of sweetness, but it couldn't salvage an otherwise disappointing drink. **High Mountain Pouchong Tea: 1/5** This drink was an even bigger letdown. Like the green tea, it tasted diluted and lacked the floral depth and complexity that a high mountain pouchong tea should offer. An unusually artificial, creamy, sweet aftertaste also lingered after each sip, further detracting from the overall flavor. Overall, the drinks lacked the bold, distinctive tea flavor I'd expect from an award-winning tea house. Considering the premium prices and relatively small drink sizes, the quality ultimately didn't justify the cost. There are simply too many better bubble tea shops at this price point, and I don't see myself returning.

When we arrived, the shopping center was extremely busy and all of the parking near Summerfield was taken. We parked along the brick wall in what appeared to be the same parking lot as the restaurant. There was nothing obvious to suggest that those spaces belonged to a separate apartment complex. The only warnings were a couple of small tow signs posted along the wall for about 18 parking spaces, and the main sign near the entrance was bent over and unreadable when driving in. We had no idea that section was private parking monitored by Quick Tow. We went inside, ordered food and drinks, and waited over 30 minutes for everything to be prepared. When we finally finished and walked back outside, our car was gone. After reading other reviews, I realized this isn't an isolated incident. It seems to happen to many people visiting this location. With how popular Summerfield is and how often customers end up parking there, I think the restaurant should at least post a clear warning telling customers not to park along that brick wall because vehicles will be towed. If they truly care about their customers, this seems like a simple step they could take. Instead, at 10:30 at night we were left stranded, had to take an Uber to another city to retrieve our car, wait while the paperwork was processed, and pay $640 to get it back--all in less than an hour after it had been towed. The whole situation felt incredibly predatory and sketchy. While the food itself wasn't bad, this experience completely overshadowed everything else. I won't be returning, and I strongly recommend that anyone visiting be extremely careful where they park. Avoid parking anywhere along that brick wall unless you're absolutely certain it's allowed.

It's toasty oolong tea with hints of honey & caramel. TASTY! With each sip, I felt my stress and worries fade away. I smiled happily. (Important: Bring Cash. With Card, there's a 35 cents additional charge for orders under $15.) I arrived at Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights) on Friday (around 11:45AM). There's a competitive, busy parking lot. Fortunately, I quickly found parking. Staff is professional and polite. Staff gave good recommendations, and Staff answered all my questions. The drink took about five minutes. As mentioned, I ordered the Iron Goddess Milk Tea ($6.75 - Large - 100% Sweetness). The crisp tea taste is pronounced and brewed perfectly (not burnt). Its gentle sweetness soothes the throat, and the flavor of honey and caramel flutters about. It's DELICIOUS! On ambiance, Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights) is aged, worn-down but well-maintained. The location is a little small; there's about four tables. Fortunately, it feels well-ventilated and airy. In addition, Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights) also has PLENTY of utility. This spot has 34 electrical outlets!!! WOW! These outlets easily blend with the wall. There's also customer internet with password; customers must ask Staff for details. There's also a gender neutral restroom in the back. Overall, I found unexpected happiness at Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights). The tea is one of the best! If you love tea, this is a very easy recommendation. 4.9 out of 5!

The smooth, light, melt-in-your-mouth custard is nice and thick, so the ratio of custard to crust is like 15:1 (how it should be, in my opinion!). Pictures do it no justice--you absolutely have to try it. I tried it the next morning after refrigeration and microwaving for 22sec, and it was so delicious, I finished the entire piece! And now I'm super full. But it was worth it. They also have a chocolate version that I was considering, but opted to go with their most popular, which is yummy enough to go out of your way for. Also tried their floral quartet oolong milk tea with boba. Tea was ok but boba was lackluster, a bit too stretchy and not sweet enough. That custard pastry though, easily brings this spot up to 5 stars. Small shop just to place your order at the counter and leave with goodies. Cute bread themed interior: baguette door handles, a variety of bread squishies for the kiddos to play with while you order, and a large rolling pin light fixture above you. Do yourself and your friends and family a favor and bring home at least a few of the butter caramel tarts. They're each nicely packaged in a windowed bag with branded sticker, so they're easy to gift. And each one comes with a packaged glove with which to enjoy your treat and not have to wash your hands.

I ordered the Mango Coconut Bliss and Honeydew Coconut Bliss. They were both yummy. I love their use of real fruits. The Butter Caramel Egg Tart is so massive you can share it with a friend. There is a smaller version but go BIG, so worth it. It tastes heavenly! The custard is perfect texture, so smooth and not too sweet. The crust is amazing; it has multiple layers and it's flaky (in a good way). If you love egg tarts like me, this place is definitely worth checking out.
