I wanted to go to Yummy Bakery for Vietnamese coffee (but they were already closed). We were looking for Vietnamese coffee for my girl that had to work graveyard and stumbled upon R&B Tea. The place was clean and easy to find w plenty of parking, and service was friendly. My friend has NEVER had Vietnamese coffee before so she was in for a treat!! IYKYK!! The coffee was bold and strong but still had good enjoyable flavor. It wasn't as strong as other Vietnamese coffees I've had, so she didn't get the "real" surprise and experience that Vietnamese coffee gives.
Looking back at the other reviews, I should've gotten a different drink. I already lowered my expectations for their matcha stormy because OMOMO is the best there is out there. However, the graininess and matcha quality they used was not very good. I would not recommend this drink. The egg waffle was decent as it was crispy and chewy on the inside. It's not too sweet at all but overall, I would probably just stick with OMOMO for their version of a matcha freeze.
After dinner nearby, we knew we wanted boba afterwards and purposely saved room for it! R&B Tea was on the opposite end of the plaza, which worked out as we worked off a little bit of dinner by walking here. I ordered a jasmine green milk tea ($5.75) at 50% sweet with easy ice and boba ($0.75). Just the right amount of sugar with the right consistency for the boba. Would definitely order again (and also possibly try their matcha milk tea or roasted oolong milk tea). Post-dinner boba craving met! Thanks Tiffany for taking care of our large group order! They have two small tables in the front and more table space in the back for hanging out and playing board games. We picked The Logo Game and learned new facts about products and logos and what not from the game. Did you know that Baskin Robbins had 31 flavors particular to cover each day of the month? I didn't, until the game. Fun times. Plenty of parking spots in this large plaza.
This location is just like the Rosemead location except there is more parking available here. They sell blind boxes - Sonny angels and labubus. The cups are super cute here. The Strawberry snowy was yummy. It is like a strawberry smoothie with boba. Prices are fair and service was good. There was only one employee working here. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area. Good spot to study or chat with friends.
SUPER CUTE Milk and Mocha collab!! Quick service and delicious chewy boba. Sparkling interior and plenty of seating to chat with friends and shop for blind boxes and collectibles. Ordered the brown sugar milk boba and it had the perfect amount of milk and syrup. :) Boba craving was satisfied!

Friend and I decided to come here after dinner for the Taro Stormy that looked amazing on the Yelp photos. When I walked in, I realized I've been here before years ago! I could not recollect whether it was a good or bad experience but since I don't remember, it probably wasn't a bad experience. Ordered the Taro Stormy which is one of their top 10. Added a crème brûlée topping, which ended up being a crème brûlée mixture on the top of the drink rather than chunks of crème brûlée pastries in my drink (which would have been amazing). The Taro Stormy did not have much taste by itself. My poor friend who ordered it 50% sweet pretty much only tasted ice. My Taro Stormy had a similar issue but it was mitigated since the Crème brûlée topping added just enough flavor to make it enjoyable to finish drinking - which isn't saying much. I'm finally writing a review here to make sure I get something else if I do come back by accident in the future.

Even if they do check-in discounts, they shouldn't add lesser liquid to people's drinks. I also ordered the market sausage, but I think it's a little too expensive. They weren't as good as I thought they'd be. Also, I wish they had popcorn chicken today..
I was looking for a new place to try and found it on Yelp. They're located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. The customer service was good. I was greeted upon entry and was able to place right away. The inside of the shop is cute. It's decorated nicely. They have a large variety of drinks and snacks. I ordered a Rose Oolong Milk Tea with crystal boba and cheese cream. I also ordered the lemon pepper popcorn chicken. The drink tasted good, but I couldn't really taste the cheese cream. The crystal boba was a bit on the firm side with a light chew. The popcorn chicken was perfectly crispy, but the pieces were light on chicken. I will return and try something different.
Very disappointing, service was slow and not very welcoming, the layout of the store is not efficient, and drinks were not good. I've been to other R&B tea locations that I really enjoyed so I was very disappointed with this location and will likely not return. Ordered two Mango yakult drinks and they separated quickly and just did not taste good. When I've ordered this at other locations it tastes much better.
Service was really nice and there's cute little things you can buy in the store like Sonny angels and smiskis. The drinks were decent in my opinion, I tried the Thai green milk tea and lemon kumquat tea but I'll have to try their other drinks. Cute mom and pop boba shop vibe, it's a good spot to get some boba and hang out or study. They have some limited seating and it does get busy!
This was my first time here and the vibes were cool, and the merchandise that's sold here was super fun Like sonny angels and Labubus etc.! But I feel like the service was very poor and an overall rude demeanor. Didn't get welcomed in, which is okay, I understand it can get busy sometimes. Hi, this is my first time trying out R&R Tea place. Brown sugar is one of our favorite drinks so far. I would recommend this place to get a nice and refreshing drink here. Planning to try out the foods next time for sure. read more
At Canyon Point Marketplace in Rowland Heights, I was waiting for my bb.q Chicken order. I saw R&B Tea. I said, it's so warm... a nice cold drink would be great to quench my thrist. I didn't give it a second thought, I was on my way here... This shop has a long view. Near the front are displays of cute and interesting toys plus other knick knacks for sale. Near the back is the seating area. There are a few tables and some chairs. Btw, you got to walk pass the merch before you can sit down. The young lady behind the counter wasn't the most smiley, but she was helpful. I ended up getting a Watermelon Juice for me. I'm watching my caloric intake LOL. It was so refreshing. It hit the spot especially on a warm day. I would definitely get it again. I got drinks for my daughters and my Mom, too. Unfortunately, my Mom did not care for their boba... she said they were hard to chew. As for my daugther's drinks, they said both were good. I was looking for a new place to try and found it on Yelp. They're located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. The customer service was good. R & B Tea is another chain that started popping up all over SoCal, challenging the likes of Ding Tea and Sunright amongst others. I've had R & B tea at other locations before, so the menu is nothing new to me. I have to say that the decorations are pretty cute here. Love the portraits of historical and pop culture figures with boba! They also have snacks and merchandise here that I don't think other locations have for purchase. I got the: 1) Peach Milk Tea: -I wanted to order this with less ice and with adjusted sweetness. I believe the cashier said that one of these factors couldn't be adjusted since the drink is blended, unsure which one it was, but my drink was a centimeter or 2 lower than the lid than the other milk tea that we ordered. -The drink coagulates if left for too long, so I guess that does mean that it is blended, but despite mixing it, it was way, way too sweet. Tasted more like a semi-smoothie than anything with the thickness as well. -Too artificial tasting for me. I did not like this at all. 2) Rose Oolong Milk Tea: -The roasted tea flavor was very, very strong for this, almost to the point of tasting burnt or like the leaves have been steeped for much too long. -The rose flavor was barely noticeable. They do have a point system but you have to download an external app and show your digital stamp card to the cashier. It's not Clover, Fivestar, or the Toast takeout app like other places use. With so many other boba places in the area, this R & B unfortunately does not shine through for me. read more

WOW NEW FAV?? Dragon fruit stormy 10/10 - do not get less than 100% sugar because it's already not too sweet which is perfect - so REFRESHING and has bits of REAL dragonfruit in it - the creamy bits are a perfect add on to this blended drink - I wish it was blended a little longer though bc the ice was still a little chunky Taro stormy 9/10 - very creamy - can get 75% sugar if you want but the 100% is not too sweet as well - If you love taro then this drink elevates the creaminess of it with subtle hint of sweetness - it's more heavy but it's like a dessert Overall, love this place. The server was also amazing and really nice. The drinks came out really fast. read more

I chose to get the green milk tea, peach yakult, and kumquat lemon ice tea. I like that you can adjust the sweetness level and ice level. I usually get 50% sweet and less ice. The drinks are not too sweet and the golden boba has a good chew. They have an app for their stamp card. The staff is nice and place is clean. The plaza can get packed on the weekend. read more
They have happy hour on Monday through Thursday from 12 to 3 PM for Buy one get one 50% off. They are in the same plaza as 168 market. We grab a green Thai tea and a Devil's booster. Green thai tea: A bit milkier than I generally like this drink to be. Perfect sweetness at regular sugar levels though! Devil's booster: You can really taste the orange and hint of peach in the drink. It was definitely very refreshing. The oolong flavor worked well for this drink! I would reorder the devil's booster again, but probably pass on the green thai tea, since I don't like milk much. Prices are fair, even without the happy hour. read more

A new boba shop that replaced the old royal tea. Currently they are in a soft opening phase and offering buy one get one 50% off drinks (drink before the add ons). The boba is soft and chewy with a texture that kind of reminds me of tastea boba. I got the house milk tea half sweet with boba. The price point is slightly above other boba shops ($5.84 for my drink) but it is not a bad option considering it's close to my house. Parking is plentiful since it's across the McDonald's and near the 168. They currently take card but don't have the tap pay system set up. There was also no rewards system when I went. read more

Pulled up to R&B tea after a friend recommended it. The only worker in there seems to be sad, I had to repeat a question 3 times and she responded really quietly. I ordered a milk tea w/ taro and it was very depressing. I saw she added a few spoon of taro powder and mixed it with water. It tasted like... water... The drink tasted bland, artificial. It is literally making me becoming depressed. Portions were good, but it tasted like water... I would never visit again. read more
I found it on yelp with 4.5 star in the area. So I decided to give it a shot. It's located in a busy shopping plaza where 168 supermarket is. Parking was easy to find. As I entered, I could feel the A/C was off. The shop was a bit on the warmer side in the middle of the summer. The cashier was friendly. The price was reasonable. I've tried 2 different drinks, one is a fruit tea, and the other is a classic milk tea. I have got to say, it's mehhhhh. it is subpar compared to other places I have tried. The milk tea isn't smooth because they did not use fresh milk. As you can see the flavored powder mixes behind the counter. The drinks were disappointing overall. If you like this place, good for you; just because you never had better ones. Most likely, I won't return to it again. read more

One Yelp review a day: 3/100 During a trip down the coast to San Diego, R&B Tea was one of the only boba shops we went to for drinks. Having a location open up in the plaza next to my workplace was a welcome change! The decor is quite unique and the establishment has an upbeat and eccentric vibe overall. The personal touch that comes with each of the different art installations is commendable. There are several tables within for lounging purposes, but their chairs are not the most comfy. They use a virtual stamp card through Elephant Foot Stamp which is pretty cool! They use a stamper that virtually applies a stamp to your account after signing up with the service. A lot of other businesses in the area also utilize their service so I would suggest downloaded the app to check it out! Onto the drinks: All selections come in a standard size (I believe 24 Oz) with a few exceptions that come in larger cups such as the Hawaiian Fruit Teas. The Hawaiian Fruit Green Tea is quite tasty! They use real fruits and it tastes refreshing, especially on the random hot days Southern California experiences. One of my favorite teas is Japanese Brown Rice Tea; the drink is super simple and hard to get wrong. R&B executes this drink just perfect! Paired with agar boba, this drink is refreshing and lighter on the pallet compared to most other options. Their Dragonfruit Mango Green tea was subpar to Starbuck's Mango Dragonfruit Refresher. The flavor was light, unlike the accentuated flavor of Starbuck's rendition. Pretty bummed that I didn't enjoy this drink as much as I wanted to. Coworkers have tried their honey boba and have concluded that it's of standard quality and neither stellar nor subpar. I went to a R & B yesterday but it was the one in Walnut. I had no idea there was one closer to me in the plaza by Fairway and Colima. There is plenty of parking. Have to say, the decor is more simplistic and there is less seating here but overall the drink seems to be better. I got the exact same drink, Oolong Milk Tea with Boba with 50% sugar and ice. The tea was definitely stronger than last night and the boba was soft and chewy like how I usually like it. Sugar level was good but I think 25% would be fine too since the boba is sweetened. My only complaint is that the drink took a bit for it to come out, maybe 20 minutes or so even though there was only one party ahead. Maybe they are new baristas and still learning. I'll definitely be back to try other drinks. read more
I've had my fair share of R&B Tea drinks from the locations in OC. I would say that this tea franchise is a bit underrated. I think the tea quality is more prominent than other places which is something I look out for in a good boba shop. I'm glad to see that they're expanding. A few days ago I stopped by and ordered an Oolong Milk Tea. It was a bit sweeter than I would have liked but at least now I know and can make the necessary adjustments next time. Despite it being so sweet, I was delighted to still taste the oolong tea. The boba I feel needs some work because it did taste a little stale and the texture was too hard. The service was nice but a bit awkward especially because they don't have any music playing so it's silent when ordering and while waiting for it to be made. It was cute to have gotten a small Valentines Day goodie bag, so thanks for that! I definitely am a fan of the design of the neon sign in the back of the store because it really invites you to take a picture with it. Lastly, I did notice that they didn't have as full of a menu as other locations. I'm not sure if it's just because they recently opened so hopefully they'll add more soon. read more

Service was super slow. Waited about 45 min for our drink even though there were only a few customers? Was kind of confused why it was taking so long, but because they just opened and it's new, my friends tried to be patient and show them grace. The drink that I got was mango dragonfruit 50% sugar and it was just right. read more
The drinks were very good! The puffle waffle was absolutely delicious. All the tables were clean. The customer service was beyond amazing! The person taking our order was very helpful and very nice. I would absolutely come back again 15/10 read more

R&B Tea is one of my go-to places for fruit teas because they're all usually pretty solid! My go-tos here are the devil's booster (orange green tea), lychee green tea with aloe vera, and endless passion (passion fruit orange green tea). Would recommend getting it at 75% sweet since they do tend to run on the sweeter side. I recently tried the kumquat lemon green tea, which was good too. The workers are really friendly, and the decor inside is super cute! They have a bunch of boba-themed art and they sell boba-themed key chains/pins too. Don't forget to show your student ID for 10% off :) read more

Came for for boba and popcorn chicken. They were out of popcorn chicken, so then we asked for potstickers...also out. Another food item was also out. So first impression is that the food menu is secondary. This place uses a warming device to prepare its food. Good to know because some tea houses actually have a kitchen and emphasize both drinks and food. The drinks were on the pricey side and were decent. My daughter said her crystal boba didn't seem as fresh as other places. My son loved his strawberry yakult with rainbow jelly. Drinks were close to $7 each with the topping. There is an extensive drink menu with many tea and fruit drink options. The person working the counter was very nice and apologetic about food options. She was the only one working so she got pretty busy when customers trickled in. There is some seating inside and parking is not an issue. This place would not be my first choice if in the area. read more
