Hummus Appetizer
Shayna H.

Great food and fun entertainment! I came with a party of five and when we were making our reservation they informed us that there would be live music's! They also asked if we wanted to seat that was more quiet or that was closer to the music which is what I thought was very courteous. The server was very kind and so was the management. I split a hummus appetizer which came with two large slices of pita. It was very tasty. For my main dish I ordered the chicken wings off of the starters however it was plenty for a main meal. it was very saucy and also delicious. I had a great experience and would definitely be a repeat customer!

Food was amazing, server was upbeat and attentive. Only issue was a small error where we got wrong appetizer and then never received the one we wanted . They said they would correct it but failed to do so. We were charged however for the appetizer which was a little disappointing. The show we attended was far beyond expectations. Overall would return, a wonderful night out.

WOW- Words can not express how bitterly rude GREG, the GM is there. Last night we attended a small gathering for a birthday party. (I've been here plenty of times, I am a local) TO GET THE POINT ACROSS: There rule is you MUST order at least 2 appetizers or 1 entree' on nights that bands are playing PER PERSON if you book prior. ... If you are a walk in this rule does not apply. "Apparently" this was said to the person who booked our table. I've never had this happens before. I've been plenty of times when bands are playing and have ordered drinks and 1 app. There's nothing on the website about this. I do understand that they are trying to make a buck during these uncertain times. When I called Greg the manger he talked over me.... he had already knew what the complaint was going to be.... which means they have got this complaint before. Last thing word for word the waitress said to me "If you don't order a second app then I'll get fired" I can not believe that they have a rule like that. It's so wishy washy and not stated ANYWHERE that a minimum of 2 apps PER PERSON or ONE full dinner if you want to come in. Sides also don't count as apps ?? Either. I was forced into getting a flatbread pizza $16 and a $14 goats cheese salad with canned beats and no goats cheese. BTW the salad was TO GO because I wasn't even hungry for it!!! - it's obviously is a complaint that must be consistent there because Greg knew right away what the complaint was going to be and I didn't even get to express my experience.... Greg should be happy that we had a $500 dollar bill and should be begging us to come back ??? I wouldn't be returning for quite some time. I've been here with family members so many times and it's SAD to see how poor this place is ran over covid. Just passing the word on!! I give it fairly a two star for the horrible experience that I had. Here's a pic of my canned beats salad to go and pizza flat breads .

Paninis are a good portion and you can choose between the salad or fries.

I know they require that you order one entree minimum; if you're seeing a show-curious as to whether you can order two appetizers instead-$$$ would be equivalent.?

When everyone arrived we all got seated inside and the vibes were immediately off. It took us over 10 min to even get our menus and we were just sitting there trying to flag someone down to help us while we saw a waitress giving menus out to folks just coming in. When we finally got her attention, she just told us "someone will bring it to you soon," when she literally could've just grabbed a few and hand them to us. At this point we were about to leave, but stayed because we were all starving. This happened throughout our meal, we had to ask for water and cups multiple times and even got dirty plates sent to us, which we then asked if we could get newer ones. Not sure if it was because we were the only POC in the room, but we felt like this treatment was targeted specifically at us since everyone else in the place was attended to in a timely, friendly manner. The food was okay and took a while to come out. I got the crab cake benedict and there wasn't much flavor to it. The potatoes were also soggy. The saving grace was probably the banana foster french toast. Overall, we definitely felt unwanted there and would not return solely because of the service.

Sat at the bar and ordered a strawberry mojito. Fresh strawberries and mint were nice to see, but there was hardly any alcohol in the drink and the straw was far too narrow to be able to take a sip without it becoming obstructed. Poured woefully short as well, topped with even more ice and seltzer. Had the tempura shrimp to start. Generous portion, well seasoned. Slightly rubbery but not detracting from the dish. Aioli was great, but could have used a little more. Chili sauce was also good, but could barely get any in the ramekin it was in. Bacon cheeseburger with mushroom for my main followed. Looking back, there was actually NO bacon on the burger. Not sure if the kitchen overlooked it, or what. $4 for added mushrooms seemed a bit exorbitant at first, but they were oyster mushrooms. Fries were crisp and wonderfully seasoned. Ordered the burger medium - came out medium and juicy.... But absolutely flavorless. If their head chef loved salt like their fry cook, this burger would have been spectacular. The mushrooms never got to drive off extra water because of the lack of salt, and the meat just fell flat without seasoning. I wanted to love this burger, but I just couldn't no matter how hard I tried. Had the crack pie, advertised to be similar to Monofuku Milk Bar... for someone who had crack pie multiple times before it became the phenomena it is now, this falls short, by a lot. The chess pie filling is far too dense, lacking caramelization. The pie crust was undercooked and anemic. Sugar decoration on top added zero value to the dessert, and coconut ice cream is far too competitive a flavor to put against this dessert. Sauces on the plate were weak and boring eye service. Paid my $80 bill, tipped (even though the bartender was rarely seen or asking how things were), and headed out. For a quiet weekday, the service and quality of food were severely underwhelming.

I had many piggy banks in my childhood, but it was always deficient and inadequate never filled with wealth. I was satisfied with the food and customer service. Our female server and male server Tim were both welcoming and attentive, but Tim was the man. He briefly chat with us noting that we are out-of-towners for ice breaker conversation starter. Tim was very welcoming to our party of three as I am obviously not a local resident who stick out like a sore thumb. I was very dismayed with my drink. Tim explained the past history of this building. There is no cellular signal. However, free WiFi access is available with password request. Wi-Fi network is "ThePiggyBank." The business name is Piggy Bank 2.0 in the former home of the original BBQ Piggy Bank. This retail space was the former home of a financial institution that defunct fifteen years ago, but the restaurant maintain the structures of the original large vault, vintage tin ceiling, and large windows are still in tact and visible. The restaurant contains the original red exposed bricks. Restroom facility is relatively clean. There are two WhistlePig Piggy Bank Rye, a limited edition, 10 year old straight rye whiskey packaged in an interactive, pig-shaped gold ceramic decanter bottle that functions as a working piggy bank located on a high bookcase behind the bar counter. Oh! Tim was very accommodating as I had to hurriedly exit to catch my MTA Metro North commuter rail, disappointedly return to NYC. The bill is distributed on a nuisance handheld digital device where you can choose gratuity of intervals of 18%, 20% or 22%. I am old school as I prefer to review my bill on printed paper. I did obtained my sales receipt on paper. No business cards are available when requested. The female server politely stated the unavailability of inability for business card as I inquired to request. It is here a self-realization for profound situational awareness that my piggy bank is full of wealth to create completeness. Buttermilk Chicken Fingers $16.00 Chicken fingers with BBQ sauce and fries. The chicken was moist due to buttermilk embedded. The chicken was piping hot that I was unable to consume until minutes later. The French fries were good as it already contained salt and it was not very thick. I have a high predilection for crinkle cut fries or shoe string fries as my preference. I could not finish my meal from being induced by my earlier wine intake. Lamb sliders special with salad $22.00 Three lamb slider burgers were a delight for my friend. The salad was light consisting of onion, dill and feta cheese. 8 oz. Smoked Brisket $24.00 It was well season and a joy accompanied with French fries. Salt and pepper rub was seasoned. Mint Condition $8.00 Mint leaves, lime juice, simple syrup, water, cranberry This is a non-alcoholic drink which is is served in a large martini glass in the same exact high level of sweetness and color of a alcoholic cosmopolitan cocktail. A cosmopolitan cocktail reminisce me of the TV show "Sex and the City" which in my young adulthood I have libation many cosmopolitans. Forward. My libation taste change with the passage of time. I was very dismayed with this drink because it is highly sweet heavily douse high content of syrup and cranberry. The sweetness from this drink linger for remnants in my mouth loosing interest for food. I could not finish. My party of three's pre-existing condition to conclude a day of winery tourism in New Paltz, NY, and Gardiner, NY all within the Hudson Valley region of NYS. Her service was great and so was the way she handled herself with (my) issue. The ambience was cool, casual, and probably a fun night spot to go for a drink, they have a pretty big bar and bar area. So as a whole picture I would definitely go again. But if you're planning on going to Piggy Bank, plan on going to the bank first. It's reasonably priced, don't get me wrong, but the Sides and cocktails will get ya. I'll wrap this review up by saying, thanks to NYC tourism, all of Main St. feels they can charge NYC prices. The only good part is that we locals don't have to pay for a train ticket to eat like we're in NYC, but they do.

I reminisce arcade video games were always localized at shopping malls. Happy Valley Arcade Bar contains many games and snacks as well as alcohol and non-alcohol drinks are available. There is a coin change machine which was not working. This arcade video game business does contain a bathroom facility. It does provide a temporary mental detox or mental phlegmatic disposition from life's stressors in a casual relaxed atmosphere without judgment and without pressure of looming deadline for quota. There is also a small photo booth which can only fit two people. It was impossible to cramp six adults in this miniscule booth. There is an outdoor patio for seating. I hoped to see Grand Theft Auto, but to no avail. Arcade cabinet games are: Pac-Man 1980 I played for $0.25 and lost at the first round. Donkey Kong 1981 No comment. I did not play. The Simpsons 1991 No comment. I did not play. This depicts violence as Maggie is kidnapped because a large stolen diamond, inadvertently, landed in her mouth during a melee and she begins sucking on it like a pacifier. The rest of the Simpsons family gives a violent chase in pursuit for retrieving Maggie. Mortal Kombat II 1993 No comment. I did not play. Street Fighter II 1993 No comment. I did not play. KungFu Kickball I was on the red team to punch, kick and headbutt a ball into the opponent's bell and won against a good longtime male friend who was on the blue team. The final score 3-2. I feel like Danielle de Barbarac who slaughtered her longtime childhood male friend, Gustave in mud fights. "Boy or girl, I can still whip you!" Danielle de Barbarac in "Ever After: A Cinderella Story" 1998 film. Because the capable woman is never far away as I am right here! Dance Dance Revolution Extreme 2002 Wow! This dancing video game reminds me of the movie "The Kissing Booth" which appears exactly as is. Pinball Oh, my inner child surfaces! No comment. I did not play. Pinball games are very classic and simple as the objective are all the same with a carbon steel or chrome steel ball with flippers. It is a game of chance. I would play pinball at outdoor fairs or festivals while eating funnel cake with strawberries. I remember playing Initial D Arcade Stage: Cycraft Edition 2003 where the seat drastically shifted, leaned, and jerked violently sideways to perfectly match the mountain-pass touge drifting mechanics of the motion-simulator racing game. I remember I jackknifed a vehicle! I lost this five minute racing game with my then boyfriend. Disappointedly, this video game cabinet is not available at Happy Valley Arcade Bar.
