Only 20 min or so from home, and I only just stopped in here for dinner with my family of 5. We were not disappointed! The service is top notch, the young lady taking care of us was attentive&personable,as well as the other staff who would ask if we were fine as they were rending their tables. Food!!! We snacked on the fried pickles, tasty. My meal however was delicious & plated beautiful, with carrot&cabbage slaw that are thinly cut like little straws over top, just delicious! My husband had the meatloaf, he loved it altho he didn't care for the tomato-y paste over top of it, but not globbed on,so he can scrape it off&finish enjoying. Probably the worst restaurant in the area. I have been to this location on two different occasions. The first time, we went for dinner with family. The food was mediocre at best. Cold and bland and not one person at the table enjoyed their meal. The service was not great either. The staff was inattentive and not pleasant. It certainly doesn't make you feel welcome when you are ignored by your servers and made to feel like you are bothering them when you ask for something. After that experience, we never returned. It was not a place I would go to spend money on a meal I wanted to enjoy. Unfortunately, I was invited to attend an event here, and because of my close relationship with the person I decided to go. True to form, it was another horrible experience. Tables were placed on top of one another even though there were not that many people there, cold appetizers, unfriendly staff, and no one to run the party. The staff didn't greet you, let you know when dinner was served, check in on the guests, etc... They spent time hovering uncomfortably, telling everyone what they couldn't do, or where they couldn't be, and I don't think I saw one server actually smile or be hospitable in any way. Needless to say, I will never have a meal at this restaurant or attend another function here. My money and time are better spent at many other places in the area. If you consider this venue for an important event in your life I caution you to do your research and ultimately choose somewhere else. I am sure the owner and staff will make your event a nightmare. Unfortunately, since my experience, I have heard of a few others who have had weddings, rehearsal dinners, and other milestone events ruined by this place. APPETIZERS What we ordered: To start we both ordered some draft beer which we both were really happy with. Then We had the best mac n' cheese bites of our lives. Ahi tuna over cucumber slices with micro greens And some pretty amazing sweet potato fries. ENTREE My sister got the jambalaya and I got one of their specials, a lobster bouillabaisse. Both were great. Her portion was much larger than mine but I thought my portion was perfect since I was able to complete the meal and didn't feel like I needed to roll out of there. She had enough to take home. DESSERT For dessert we shared a peach cobbler ala mode...which was good but needed a crunch to it. I have made better myself. And then a frozen cookie with cannoli filling. Which would probably be very rich on its own but was awesome with a coffee to cut the sweetness. I loved it. TIME Our food came out shockingly fast and in perfect order. Our waiter was very attentive except she forgot to refill our water. PRICES I think they were priced perfectly, they range from typical cheap eats to fancy dinner specials. You could bring your family here and afford it and you could bring a date here and it still be nice enough. Great middle ground. COVID Procedure Our table appeared clean and they brought us a fresh bottle of ketchup at the beginning of meal so there is nothing just setting on table being frequently touched. I wish I could give this place zero stars. If you're considering 3rd & co catering for any bridal or wedding event, RECONSIDER. First, we wanted to support this local small business for my bridal shower. My mother ordered 3 breakfast boards which stated on the description waffles, silver dollar pancakes, berries and bacon. We got 2 breakfast boards with 1 singular waffle cut into small pieces, pastries, bagels and muffins ( picture attached). I would've honestly gotten Eggos at Sam's or made them myself. In addition, we already bought mini muffins and bagels separately. When the food arrived to my venue for the shower my mom immediately ran back thinking we took the wrong food because it didn't support what we had ordered. My mom was then told there was no fixing it and "we normally don't make pancakes" ... they did offer to make some however guests were arriving and we did not have time to wait. He also stated there was enough waffles for 50 people. Does that look like it to you? The food for my brunch was RUINED. As a professional who works with a small business, rapport is CRUCIAL. We should've gotten at least a call to make us aware of changes or if they didn't have the means to give us what we paid for. We almost paid a grand for this food. Let me ask you, if you ordered pancakes and get a muffin what would you do? Well, of course we went back to talk to the owner about this situation, and instead of being about the customer we received attitude like it was no big deal. The owner said: "oh, obviously this is about money," To us it wasn't about the money it was the point that we ordered certain items and we didn't receive that. He also said: "I won't make it right tonight but the next time you come here, I will make it EXACTLY (in a snarky way) how you want." But we won't be supporting this business again because he truly doesn't deserve another dime. Which is truly unfortunate because I am one of 5 girls being the first to get married. I did make reservations (as suggested on their website specifically so we had outdoor seating). We were immediately seated and service was great and friendly. The waterfall, the fountain, the walkway around the water make for beautiful views and a lovely atmosphere to enjoy a delicious meal. This was everything I wanted and the food was delicious. We had 2 of their specials Jumbo Wings (we always need to try wings wherever we go) and Crab Rangoon Dip. French Onion Soup (of course). Entrees: He had the Roasted Filet Mignon, Roasted Garlic Smashed Yukon Potatoes, Red Wine-Bacon Reduction, Crispy Onions = Happy Boy; I had the Pan Seared Salmon with Broccoli & Herb Risotto, Honey-Garlic Glaze = Delicious and Delightful. This place is a little hidden gem. It seems like they have really set it up nicely for private events, large and small. We enjoyed eating in their outdoor area overlooking the pond. Very cool rustic feel with heaters and fire pits- probably the perfect spot when the weather cools (could of used a couple fans out there). This place is such a hidden gem! Came for brunch today and was pleasantly surprised.. the general vibe and feel of the place is amazing, the decor and woodwork is impressive, and the food is great. Got the open faced avocado toast, which comes with eggs any way and home fries. I would have liked it to be actual avocado instead of guacamole but it was still delicious and definitely different. Had the calamari and Mac and cheese bites for an appetizer - calamari was tender and flavorful, Mac and cheese bites were good - homemade not packaged stuff. Wife ordered chicken and waffles, I ordered an American Wagyu burger with pulled pork and cheddar. Chicken with chicken and waffles was homemade and not frozen junk. I ordered the Walker Valley Breakfast which comes with 2 eggs (any style), 2 pancakes, 2 bacon, sausage patty, home fries or field greens and toast ($12). Portions are priced right and restaurant has a very unique style, I particularly liked the game tables and the light fixtures. Business was given 4 stars because our waitress got our order wrong and our bill was not priced right. Our order contained 5 separate meals, when the food arrived only 4/5 meals were delivered. Upon mentioning the missing item another server stated the last meal was never placed. Hope the next experience is more accurate. read more

The restaurant is cute and I can see the effort to make this look like a farm to table style restaurant. However, a few concerns: the hostess was not pleasant with us and was rushing us. She didn't wipe down our table. I had to get our own silverware from another table. (Keep in mind there's only 3 other customers in the whole restaurant right now when we sat down- no excuse why they couldn't have our table ready for us, it's not like the restaurant was packed and busy). When she brought our coffee it wasn't hot. It was warm. Very disappointing especially considering the fact we were here for brunch. When we got our food, I immediately saw a long piece of brown hair on my toast and I asked the waitress for a new dish. She only took the roast off my plate and got me new toast. I was very disgusted that a whole new plate wasn't presented to me. When we got our food, the eggs weren't fully cooked and the potatoes weren't fully cooked either. Some were very hard and we could hardly eat them. We had to wait a long time for our check, they were too busy trying to arrange the tables in the restaurant. It was not focused on customer service, at least it wasn't for our experience. We won't be coming back here. It's too bad because we were really looking forward to having lunch. read more

Had the worst experience at Third and Company in Walker Valley, while attending a birthday party! I've been in the business a long time and I'm a foodie, so I frequent different establishments often. They treated me so disrespectfully and were completely unprofessional. The story is almost so unbelievable that one would think something must have provoked this treatment beyond what actually happened BUT completely NOT the case. I followed a friend out to her car while she partook in drinking a boxed margarita (she has a gluten intolerance and could not drink what was being served). We were rudely reprimanded by a staff member named Erika about having an open container in the parking lot. Understood! Won't happen again. I go to the bar shortly after and was denied a beverage. The bartender told me I could have water and they would serve me again in thirty minutes. Mind you, I had two Proseccos in the course of two hours; that's it! Sober as a judge! It was humiliating, as people looked on. I ask her why I'm being denied a beverage, as I'm not even buzzed let alone intoxicated and she could not give me an answer. I was completely being targeted from the moment I got there. Sadly enough, the host of the party asked me to leave as per their request. Apparently, they threatened to shut down the party otherwise. The irony is, the friend who was drinking in the parking lot was told she could stay.The whole situation was sooooo messed up. They were also harassing people who were taking pictures outside and monitoring the pours at the SELF SERVE complimentary wine table (which I did not partake in as I was actually one of the few PURCHASING from the bar). Disgraceful and tacky. This was a private, quaint 40th birthday and instead of being hospitable, welcoming and accommodating the staff was aggressive, rude, and off-putting. If you want your guests to feel targeted and harassed this is the venue for you. Again, I've worked in the restaurant business for over twenty years. I currently bartend and am a reputable teacher in the community. I was looking to have a nice, relaxing night and instead was treated like a second-class citizen. I have plenty of messages from others who have had negative experiences as well. I'd love to copy and paste them ALL if anyone cares for more evidence. I have driven by this place many times and was excited to try it out. We have a baby under one and it's difficult to go out to eat so we opted for take out. After enjoying our dinner I just had to write a review! This food was amazing. My husband and I were very impressed by everything we ordered. Even the kids dish we ordered for our older child was really good. Sometimes with takeout It's hard to order certain dishes and have them stay nice and crispy until you get home. But I have to say the calamari and pickle chips were super crispy even after being packaged up for the drive. My husband went inside to pick up the order and said it was a really nice atmosphere inside as well. We're super excited to dine in next time. Well, I really wanted to love this place. The place is really beautifully done on the inside. Everything is clean and rustic. The light fixtures and nostalgic shadow box type tables really brought a uniqueness to the space. Unfortunately the food isn't great. I usually order fried calamari as a test. If the calamari isn't good, I find that the rest of the experience tends to be the same. I was right. The breading had a sour baking soda type aftertaste and was very bland. I had to add a significant amount of salt to make it somewhat palatable and it was still lacking flavor. The marinara was too acidic and thick like tomato paste. It made me very sad. The next course was French onion soup. It had a less savory and more sweet taste and it was topped with a heavy layer of swiss cheese which threw the whole flavor profile off. I was hoping for a creamy provolone or something more mild, but the swiss just took over. Not ideal at all. I also had their basic field green salad. Mixed greens with candied walnuts and apples with a creamy balsamic vinaigrette. It was bitter and unseasoned. There was not enough dressing nor was it that great tasting. The huevos rancheros was a tad bit better. You can't really mess up eggs, although the tortilla was too hard and difficult to cut. The potatoes were decent. At least they were seasoned. I think the best part if the meal was the bourbon caramel coffee. That was delicious. Everything else was just meh. They need to tighten up those flavor profiles to match the beautiful decor. read more

This place has seriously gone down hill and fast. Breakfasts used to be great. Dinner were unremarkable. My 4th and last time going in was for breakfast, one other table was there just about finished eating. The waitress was pleasant and polite. I ordered Juevos Rancheros, which took entirely too long to come out. The eggs were ice cold, like seriously ice cold. The tortillas were fried to a crisp when the should only be served warm. The chef had tried telling the server it was supposed to be cold. Being someone who spent half of my life in Southern California, that dish is one of my favorites I know how it should be served. First time eating at Third & Co and we'll be back! My husband and I drove out from Scotchtown for lunch and we were not disappointed. I am in love with the decor - Rustic and homey. The historic pictures from the area incorporated into the wallpaper is brilliant, the board game tables are fantastic, and light fixtures so cool! Lots of unique touches that I just love. For our meal, I decided on the pulled pork sandwich. It was juicy and had a nice hint of black cherry soda used in the sauce. (I did need to add a dash of salt, but I'd rather add than having anything too salty.) My husband started with the French onion soup, which was delish (I sampled!), and then had the Lakeside burger. It was juicy and had wonderful flavor. The fries that came with both were great and crispy :) I made sure to save room for dessert because I saw bread pudding as an option. Oh wow! I'm so glad I did! I'll go back just for that!! Tasty apple and raisin compote over two slices of warm bread pudding. Mmmm-mmm. We'll definitely be back with our kids, and hope to catch some of the live music that is scheduled from time to time. read more
