I really like this place. I found it because I was looking for places that kids eat free in the area (life of a parent!) and found that kids eat free on Thursdays here. We all love Italian so we decided to give it a try! Surprisingly every time we've gone we found a parking spot right in front of the restaurant! I don't expect that's usual. It's probably because I was coming early-ish on a weekday. The restaurant is really cute, has outdoor and indoor seating, and has been quick to seat us. We sat inside both times and we're helped very quickly. They will give you bread and butter if you ask for it, but I don't think they do it as a standard. I tried the cheese ravioli and the garlic knots (I believe they are called). The garlic knots are very good, but they are caked in oil, I wish it was less of that, an more of the seasonings. The level of garlic was very good. It comes with a marinara that was also very tasty. The cheese ravioli were excellent. Soo creamy and cheesy. Not too oily or anything. The perfect amount of sauce. It also was a significant amount of food, I felt satisfied. I would definitely get them again. Overall, I think it's a nice restaurant with good food. Really great family atmosphere. I had lunch here with my family (including our puppy) earlier today. What a great dining experience! Excellent outdoor dining area, great food and super-friendly, attentive staff. When we arrived we were asked how many and then told you can sit there. The waitress wasn't friendly and would come over and ask what we wanted. I ordered bread and it was cold and hard. I noticed that she was very friendly with other customers and would smile but then come back and be rude . Our food was not good. The shrimp pasta had no flavor . The Alfredo was okay. I ordered wine and she didn't bring it until the end of my meal. I was really disappointed considering it was recommended to us. Wow I am surprised that Tomatina only has 3.5 stars - we love this place! We've come every so often and have alwaysss enjoyed our meals and visit. Most recently we DoorDashed pizza and pasta from here and loved it, which reminded me that I haven't rated them on Yelp! We ordered a Veggie Pizza and then a Make Your Own Pasta. Amazing place for some great wine and fresh food! My boyfriend got a local beer and I tried one of their Cabernets and it was delicious. It was a little chilly but we sat outside under one of their heaters so it turned out to be a nice evening. We started off with their pasta trio, which was meat lasagna, creamy pesto rigatoni and chicken alfredo. All three of these pastas were to die for, incredible! We couldnt pick a favorite they were all so good. We also ordered a pizza, the carne combo which was mozzarella, tomato sauce, fennel sausage, pepperoni, prosciutto and mushrooms! It was fresh and delicious. You can tell that they use high quality ingredients and everything is made fresh daily. I went here with two friends a few weeks ago and the service was terrible. Our waitress, who I was assuming was some kind of manager or owner since she wasn't wearing any uniform, was extremely rude. Every time she sat something on the table and we said thank you, she would just ignore us. She probably spoke 10 words the whole time. She was being friendly and polite to other tables around us as well. They weren't very busy and there were probably only 5 tables around us that were filled. The food was pretty good, except for the garlic knots. The Italian sodas were good (except don't get the mint one) and so was the chicken Alfredo. The croutons on the salad were pretty stale too. I would have been able to move past the things about the food, except for the fact that the service was so bad. I do not recommend this place to younger people coming in with friends. The families and older couples were treated nicely while me and my friends were barely talked to. We were seated immediately, parking was okay (paid street parking or garage,) with immediate super cozy vibes. You can order and pay from your phone which is such a great feature!! Given that, we still received amaaazing service from our waitress, Kirsha! We started off with their garlic rolls (rating: 4.5/5) and meatballs (rating: 5/5). Both were super delicious apps! Then for entrees we tried their shrimp pomodoro, shrimp campanelle (seasonal), and margherita pizza! The pastas were huge portions and sooo full of flavor (both ratings: 5/5)! However, our alcoholic beverages did not come out at all, until we asked a random server about our drinks. All they did was apologize, and we waited another 10 minutes for it to come out. There were no servers that checked on us, so we paid the bill through the QR code and left. The garlic rolls tasted like burnt garlic- I'm not sure if this is what they were going for but the flavor was very bitter and not good. The rolls were also not that great of consistency. It tasted like it was old, stale bread that they revived by soaking in olive oil. As for the rest of the food, I would compare it to tasting like something microwaved. Not fresh, at all. The cheese on the lasagna wasn't fully melted. I thought the quality of this food was worse than the Olive Garden. Don't waste your money here. Unfortunately, this place was super disappointing. I got their lasagna, which was not bad. Their bruschetta and mixta salads were good. I really enjoyed the candied walnuts in the salad. However, the garlic rolls were drenched in oil and had no garlic flavor. The only thing I could taste and feel was oil, which was very unpleasant. I was the most shocked about the pizza. Omg they are to diiiiie! So much garlicky goodness!! I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs (basic, I know) because you can't go wrong with it! Got pretty full off it. My friends ordered chicken fettucine alfredo (basic too hahaha) and the summer pappardelle. Didn't get to try them but both looked delicious.
