I keep hearing about this new place. Well...I finally got a chance to try it. I was not disappointed. Although it was a bit of a wait it was worth it. The staff was friendly and always asked if we needed anything. Even the servers that weren't assigned to us. The manager Shona came to our table, introduced herself and made sure we knew if we needed anything she'd get it for us. Did I mention BYOB??? Because they are new they don't have their liquor license yet. Our server let us know that we can bring our own champagne and they'll provide the oj. I haven't even talked about the food!!! Wow! The food was amazing! So tasty. I had the tater tot gravy concoction. That was the best dish I've eaten in a long time. No salt needed. Just perfect. My daughter had the pancakes. You know how some pancakes NEED syrup? Whelp these you can eat them just plain. I loved it. I will definitely come back. read more

We came to have breakfast. Such a fun place to come and eat. They offer breakfast, brunch and lunch. They have seasonal and regular coffee bar drinks. The food is a combination of Mexican and American diner food. We had the Machado Chiliquiles and The G.O.A.T. skillet. Our coffees were a cookie butter latte and a carmel brûlée latte. The staff is super friendly and pretty attentive. Our food and drinks arrived promptly. Very flavorful and hot. We will be back. read more

Let me start by saying that their customer service is excellent, our waitress was super friendly and checked in on us frequently to make sure we were doing well. The food is delicious, you can tell a lot about an establishment when they pay attention to every detail of your meal. I had the Cali Eggs Benedict with a side of fruit and their fruit was fresh, crisp, and sweet. Had the Fresca Sangria which was just lovely. read more

This was a must stop for us! We traveled 3+ hours to get to this restaurant and Shayna + Jennifer treated us so well. Shayna politely answered my questions over the phone and made our family feel so welcomed! Jennifer was our wonderful waitress- she was clearly determined to give us an AMAZING experience and boy did she deliver! She highly recommended the hibiscus lemonade and we ended up being offered this refreshing and perfectly sweetened drink. (So glad we were able to try it, it made the meal!) I ordered the huevos ranchero; it was the BEST I've ever had! Perfect kick to it and they accommodated my request for scrambled eggs and Cholula! My parents had the light & fit and the O.G Pancake breakfast. We all enjoyed our food. If it wasn't so far from us, we would be coming here every weekend! We came on Father's Day weekend and it was a good crowd in there. HIGHLY recommend for you to go. Management, if you're reading this- please let Jennifer know what an excellent job she did. Ordered the Benny from the block this time and although satisfying it just didn't meet expectations. The house potatoes were served cold yet overcooked. The Benedict was missing the avocado slice and I had to ask the server for it to be added on the side. The Benedict was tasty once the avocado arrived but overall the meal was just ok. read more

We waited about 20ish minutes to get seated. However, when we got seated, it took about 30 minutes to get our food. There was a huge party before us so I'm guessing that's why they took a while for the food. They placed some good Spanish music, wasn't too loud, and seating was as organized as it can possibly be for how small this location is. I ordered the creme brûlée latte, iced. Give it about 3.5/5. Wish it was a little bit sweeter. My husband ordered a regular coffee. For food, I ordered the chilaquiles with red sauce and chorizo. This was sooooooo good and spicy. Not too hot, not too mild. My husband ordered the French toast, and no complaints there. I will be going back to try more food and possibly their mimosas that looked popular. read more

Out for Breakfast and we were seated with menus (no silverware) . The waitress was nice and took our drink and food order in a timely manner. When the food was delivered, the only thing hot on the plates was the chicken on the Hot Daing plate. I tried to tough-it-out, but had to send my entire plate (French Toast plate) back to be reheated....which dried out my eggs and just put a damper on my experience. Loved this spot! We got great service and food! I would definitely be back! My husband got the guacamole burger, I got the mamas chicken fried steak, and baby boy got the biscuits and gravy! My husband said his burger was delicious! And it was HUGE!! It actually looked like it could be in a burger ad, we were impressed. My chicken fried steak was delicious!! You got the chicken fried steak flavor, but the exterior tasted like fried chicken batter! It was really good! Probably one of the best ones I've had. Biscuits and gravy was okay. Their gravy is awesome! But the biscuit was just a little dry. I wouldn't ding them too much for it though. I got their special St Pattys day coffee (the one with the caramel and Irish cream). I didn't know how Irish cream tasted and my server didn't seem to either so I just got it. Then when they finally made it, the girl delivering it said it was her fav and it tasted just like the Shamrock shake! This would've been nice to know prior because I'm not fond of those, but here it was already so I didn't want to send it back X) BUT it was pretty good if that's your thing ‍ I'm just not a fan of mint. Then there was a male server walking around (not our server) that was so sweet and despite being super busy, stopped to say hi to our toddler that was waving and brought him some creamer to stack to keep busy :) Then later he came by after our toddler threw his utensils on the floor and got him some plastic utensils. Not only that, but our lady server was super attentive and checked in on us periodically (but not too much to be pestering). For a restaurant where all the workers were rushing around from being busy, they definitely didn't make you feel like they were too busy for you :) We will definitely be back to try new things! Everything was really great Hoping their new Allen location will be just as great as that one is a little closer to us, but we'd make the drive out for these guys for their service alone :) read more

Great menu and good prices! My husband and I both ordered chicken sandwiches with their homemade fried chicken breast. The chicken was fresh and juicy. We both appreciated the generous portion of lettuce that balanced out the chicken. We ordered fries with one order and tots with the other, they were hot and fresh. Both of our plates automatically came with a side of ranch without asking. Everything on the menu sounds yummy and the staff was attentive and friendly, we will be back! read more

The food here is so Delishhhh! The parking lot isn't too bad on a week day but on weekends it gets super busy. Expect to walk a little. The ambiance is friendly and fast. Our server Jennifer was so on top of everything. The Service + food is what got me to leave a 5 star review. When you order the chilaquiles they give you the red or green option, If you like spicy like I do get the RED. My friend who got the country fried chicken said hers was delishhh as well and crunch stop by if you get a chance. The caramel brûlée latte is a good coffee to get to satisfy you're sugary taste buds. read more

We arrive on A Sunday morning relatively early (before 9am) and it was already a 20 minutes waiting time. After we been seating service was fast. They offer us the menu right away and bring our drinks fast . I really enjoy my cold drink but the chocolate abuelita coffee it was really good that I taste from my daughter. Very flavorful. In general all the food was very tasty and the personal very friendly eventhough that you can see it was a very busy day they took their time to talk to you and made you feel welcomed. I see that they offer several interesting types of drink and flights so definitely next time I been around there I will stop by again to try them because they look good. The ambiance is very relaxing and family oriented. Even good for a couple or for a big groups I saw they accommodate them with no problems. read more

This is me and my wife's second time here and so far we received good customer service and the food is really good. The restaurant has TV's (usually showing sports) and they have a front counter if you prefer sitting there. The restaurant's menu has a good selection for everyone. If you like sweet chocolate flavored lattes, try there Abuelita Chocolate Latte. Beware, it's very sweet but very good. The restaurant is kinda out of our way but its worth the drive. We will continue to repeat customers. I recommend trying it. My 2 cents! read more

Finally got a chance to try this place out! Toasted is similar to Sonder, but for breakfast. American style food but with a twist. You can tell that whoever made up the menu had a good time. I ordered the marzipan coffee and it was decent. Taste was good, I just didn't like the little bits of gritty almond paste on the bottom. My friend ordered the crème brule and loved it. I tried it but didn't appreciate it as much. I heard they had a lavender coffee drink at some point and I'm sad I missed it. For food I ordered the good AF eggs benedict, and it was...Good AF. Think of eggs benedict, but instead of biscuits you have a croissant. There is also crispy bacon bits and the best hollandaise sauce I've had in a long while. Paired with the potatoes, that breakfast fed me for the entire day. Toasted is a pretty solid breakfast place. I like the fact that they try and make the menu interesting. The menu is unique enough for people who like to try new things, but also familiar enough for those who like to stick with their comfort zones. It's that kind of creativity, paired with good service and ingredients that will lead me to come back another time. If you have a hankering for breakfast, stop here. read more

Wow. Wow. Wow. Food was 10/10! We tried the pork belly bites, Chile Verde plate and the Machaca plate and they were sooooo good. To end off a lovely brunch with my husband we ordered the Oreo "take on funnel cake" and it was so bomb. Definitely coming back our waitress was so friendly and attentive. Ok so i won't remember my first visit here for the service or food but for the time i got to spend with my bestie :) We didn't let the bad service, slow service or mediocre food ruin our time. we had a blast despite everything ;) That's what this review is for. I've been avoiding Toasted for a while as my older son and his wife have been several times and it's been a fail for them . Mostly issues with inconsistencies, undercooked food and slow service. My bestie and I headed over here from dropping off my car at the dealership we hadn't seen each other in a bit and we so needed to catch up!! I actually couldn't believe he was on time usually he spends more time primping than me!! Haha no i'm not kidding either! And he's a picky bitch so i always let him choose where we go i'm just an easy going person at heart :) It was pretty busy not packed but busy. We were seated immediately so that was good however after that it was just meh...We decided to order before his 2 other friends arrived Aaron got a marzipan mocha and the pancakes, bacon, sausage, hash browns (extra crispy) and fruit plate. His coffee had undissolved marzipan in it that kept getting caught in his teeth and throat making it hard to drink he said it was good but that aspect of it was annoying. The pancakes were tough, chewy and had no flavour. He also had to ask for butter...He was baffled that the pancakes were served dry as hell. His hash-browns were ordered extra crispy and they came out limp floppy if you will, white, undercooked and gross! He didn't send it back because as we looked around lots of people looked pissed waiting for their food. The bacon and sausage were ok nothing special basic. I ordered the avocado toast it looked interesting to me and a side of bacon along with mimosa flight. Ugh the toast was "ok" it should've been crispier what's up with places giving limp ass toast crisp it up more it has to hold avocado and various "wet" toppings. It had feta and tomatoes or pico i guess the flavour was ok but for that price i can do a hell of a lot better at home. The feta was very dry like chalk. My side of bacon Lol was one piece idk how much i paid for that "side" of bacon that one skimpy chewy piece i'll have to look at my receipt but damn that's the first i've experienced that Lol!! Aaron gave me one of his he felt bad for me haha so that's why you see two on my plate ;)...I've ordered a side of bacon before and I've always gotten at least 3 pieces just sayin ;) Mimosa flight was ok definitely cheap champagne or prosecco in that as it gave me a headache almost instantly i may be spoiled a bit but i can tell it was cheap Lol...I won't elaborate on the flavours they were fine just wish they garnished them better or not at all those were definitely an afterthought because the cups were tiny....the mexican candy one the rim was ok. His friends food came out at different times Chris's biscuits and gravy came out literally 20 min before his omelette! Like huh?? Anyway the food was mediocre and as i'm writing this my son called me and asked what my opinion was!! He was curious if my experience was the same as his have been Lol! Very inconsistent service, very slow service, just not somewhere i'd want to come back to. It's too bad because it's so close to my house... read more

This was my first time here. They have such clever different kinds of breakfast and brunch items that I was almost overwhelmed with the delight. I had trouble choosing, and will definitely have to come back to try other things. I settled for light fair and had the avocado toast. it tasted fresh and wonderful. The waiter, Cesar, was in a good mood I guess because he was all smiling and let me have as much time as I wanted. He was attentive and made excellent suggestions! . So thumbs up for the service. I really enjoyed the music that was playing, it was a mix of latest popular in both English and Spanish. it looks really clean in here so I appreciate it. read more

I love me some breakfast! Morning, afternoon or evening, you cannot go wrong. Our neighbors let us know about this place so we planned a morning hike at Wind Wolves and stopped by Toasted to refuel. We got there around 1 and only had to wait for 10 minutes to get a table. Seems like this is the perfect time to swing by since they close at 2:30 and the crowds start to thin out. Our waitress Mia asked if it was our first time there and was a huge help. So many things sounded amazing. I went with the OMG omelette. That bad boy is 6 eggs, Tri-tip, pulled pork and hot links with jalapeños and cheese. My wife asked about the size of the portion and Mia let us know it was a big omelette and most people end up splitting it. Oh Mia, ye of little faith. Challenge! Accepted! (HIMYM fans know) My wife went with Benny from the Block, fresh biscuits, pulled pork, hollandaise sauce, guac and Pico and extra crispy hash browns. I subbed out my potatoes for an extra biscuit and asked for the gravy on the side since I am not too into biscuits and gravy. The food did take a bit to arrive but it was nice and hot! I have to say, that gravy sold me! It was perfect, with small little chunks of flavorful sausage. My omelette was good, not great but good. The Tri-tip was chewy and needed some more flavor. If it didn't have the chewy tri-tip it would have been a solid 4/5. The pulled pork and hot link in the omelette were KILLER! My wife even loved the hot-link. Biscuits were great. Their jam to biscuit ratio is a little off and they gave me two small containers of jam for two thiiiick biscuits but don't worry, I ate the second with that killer gravy. My wife's dish was awesome! 5/5 for sure. Next time I would just add more pico. One thing I do want to mention is the customer service here was on point. I overheard (a manager, owner?) talking to a table near us and apologizing for an issue that had occurred. (I think length of time waiting) They comped them the meal and profusely apologized. The table wanted to pay for the food but they let them know that is not how they do things and to just come back and give them another chance. That is the thing that keeps life long customers! Bravo! I am excited to come back and try a new dish! So many items on the menu looked amazing. P.S. I finished the dish. Mama did not raise a quitter! *clears throat* Thank you. Thank you. I would like to thank God. My wife for always believing in me. To my dog daughters, I hope you see this one day and know that anything you set your mind to is possible. Visited Toasted for the first time. We were quickly seated and checked on for drinks and menu questions. The place looked busy and had limited tables open (Thursday Morning) I can only imagine the weekend. The ambiance was nice, a lot of couples dining in and the ladies sitting behind us were celebrating a birthday. Although it was relatively busy, I noticed every sever tending to their guest frequently. Food was absolutely delicious! I enjoyed the Pozole Verde. My son enjoyed the Bacon Avocado Chicken Sandwich. My son had a chocolate milk (he's a baby at heart). My Mimosa was 10/10. Service was prompt. Food came out shortly after ordered. Food was priced fair. Paid $44.00. This is a great place for breakfast! They have a variety of unique flavored lattes, cappuccinos, and other coffees and drinks. They have a decent sized menu and many items have a fun twist on old favorites. The staff is friendly and helpful. We have had Ryan as our server twice and both times he has gone above and beyond. There are lots of tables and chairs, with roughly half a dozen booths. I highly recommend Toasted for breakfast or brunch. I haven't tried their lunch yet but I'm sure I will soon! read more

We were seated right in front of the kitchen, and my wife began noticing some concerning food safety issues from one of the cooks. She observed him handling ready to eat, cooked food with his bare hands, including picking up avocado from her California omelette so another cook could add cheese underneath. Shortly after, she saw him rub his nose and continue working without washing his hands. The final straw was watching him grab a pinch of scrambled eggs from a plate on the hot line and eat it with his fingers. At that point, we were completely turned off. We had already placed our order, but there was no way we were going to eat after seeing that. My wife went to the counter and let the server know what she had witnessed, and we left. It's disappointing because the menu looked great and we were really looking forward to trying this place. I'm not sure how this behavior isn't being noticed or addressed by other staff, but based on what we saw, it didn't seem like a one-time thing. I hope management takes this seriously, reviews their cameras, and reinforces proper food safety standards.
