I'd seen Nour Bar on Yelp recently and decided to try it out after seeing their Valentine's menu on IG. I ordered the Matcha Made in Heaven + the Hot Honey & Bacon Melt for myself as well as a couple of the Banana Cream Lattes and Mango Chia Pudding to go for my family. (The staff gave me a discount card for the wait time so I decided to use it to get the other drinks and pudding). Despite the Valentine's Day drink not looking like the photo advertised online, the drink itself was unique and tasty. The textures from the strawberries and cheesecake added to the drink were fun and the strawberries tasted perfectly ripe. The matcha was slightly earthy and sweet. The sandwich was filling and the mixture of cheeses with the meat was fire. It would have been even better with some avocado or greens added. My family said their lattes tasted like fresh bananas ~ they really enjoyed them. They also liked the chia pudding with Greek yogurt that tasted fresh and almost dessert like. Everyone here was friendly and accommodating. There's space for about 10 or less people to sit somewhere, but they had music going at a decent volume and a lot of ambient lighting. The concept of mixing supplements with the cafe is unique. Overall, I would highly recommend you check out Nour Bar. The drinks and dishes are made well with fresh, healthy ingredients and they taste much more flavorful (& not overly sweet) compared to most cafes in town. I'll be back! read more

It was a little confusing that the cashier asked me if wanted to add double or triple matcha because they were using different terms for it. Initially, I almost didn't get to try it because I was unable to find the business, but after reading other reviews, I found that it was actually inside of the supplement store across from Carl's Jr. They have protein powders and other products for what I'm assuming is fitness and health related, it's a small cute little store with a friendly team. I got the banana Matcha, which came out pretty quickly despite others being head of me. Off the first sip. It tasted a little like a protein style drink, which may have just been because I got oat milk, but the overall taste was super good! Place is cute, chic. My boyfriend loved the vanilla dream smoothie. He said it was the best smoothie he's ever had. I was jealous because I didn't get to try it, but we made plans that when we drive through Bakersfield we'll be stopping here. They sell nutrition products too! Loved this place, small and quaint but definitely deserves more recognition. Matcha's starting to grip Bakersfield and it's great. The flight is off the menu but I requested and they obliged which is great. My favorite was the einspanner and the horchata! The banana I think is an acquired taste but the banana chip was a great add. The strawberry puree is a little difficult to mix so you'll need to put in some time stirring. Finally got to check this cafe out! It's located inside of a supplement shop. They had a flag out front so it's easy to spot! They offer a variety of coffees, matcha, smoothies, and small bites. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it was great! The espresso was strong but not overwhelming and the drink had the perfect amount of sweetness. There isn't much seating and there's not much space to do work so it isn't a place I'd linger. If you're in the area and want a great afternoon pick me up I'd definitely recommend! read more

Okay this is a hidden gem!! It's so cute inside. I do with they had more seating and a bigger space. The workers are friendly and helpful! The barista server was so nice, welcoming, asked me if I had been there and talked me through a few of their most popular drink options. I went for their brown sugar shaken espresso with oat milk. Unrelated but I had a pretty bad headache prior, but I swear something about this drink cured my headache and soothed my soul. Not even kidding, their coffee is amazing-- it's strong, smooth and paired so well with the milk and sugar. I can definitely tell they use quality ingredients at this shop.
