A Sweet BOGO Treat! I saw a post from BakoEats on Instagram about a BOGO deal at Golden Spoon today if you mentioned the post, so of course I had to take advantage. What a treat! My son went with the cotton candy flavor, while I tried the pineapple Dole Whip and both were amazing! The Dole Whip was especially refreshing and such a perfect treat after school. Came on a Friday night with a friend and they had a steady line all night long. We waited about 5-10 mins and then got to the counter. Inside has some seating, kind of bare and was disheveled a bit, but someone was cleaning up. But We sat outside since it was a nice night. It is not self serve so they make your yogurt. You can ask for samples, I tried dole whip and peanut butter cup. I decided on dole whip and after seeing my friends regular ($7) which was huge I decided on a mini ($5) They fill up the cup crazy full and then for $2 you can get as many toppings as you want that will fit and not many fit because they fill it up so fill with the yogurt. I think they could ask the customer how full they want the cup with yogurt and if they want to leave some more room for toppings. My friend got cheesecake with strawberry and gram cracker topping but there was not a lot of room for toppings. The dairy flavors had a more tart yogurt taste, they were not that sweet. Reminded me a bit of the og bougie yogurt place pinkberry. But the dole whip was dairy free so it didn't have that tart flavor. Definitely the closest dole whip knock off live had! Slightly different texture to Disney but like 90% the same in my opinion. I'd be back when I need that Disney dole whip Fix! read more

Hands down the best yogurt place in Bakersfield! The staff are so friendly and helpful, always accommodating with questions. The yogurt and toppings are always fresh and delicious. The store is bright and cheery feeling and it's always so fun to come in a get some yogurt. I have been meaning to try out this place for a while. Finally went there on a Sunday with wife and kids. The place was packed. The lady who helped us was so sweet and patient with my silly kids. I think she was one of the owners. The place was packed, with some seating in the inside, but a lot of people just sat outside. I was quite surprised the serving size was sensible, with a lot of low fat and other healthy options. I had the salted caramel, which was outstanding. My family also liked theirs. Stopped by after we tried eggbred because why not? Lol... My fiancé had already tried it since she's originally from the OC. The inside is very open and spacious and looks very luxurious. The menu is kinda hard to read from a distance but not a deal breaker. Small menu compared to other places but a lot of good flavors in my opinion as it was kinda hard to choose. ***response to owner*** I didn't misrepresent anything first off, I clearly stated and still is unedited on the review other than I'm dropping from a 2 star to a 1 star and yes 100% that is low quality frozen yogurt and exactly what I stated in the very first sentence. Sorry my $30 as stated was $2 off, still $30 essentially but hey let's argue over less than difference of $2. $28 plus tax (8.5%) equals $30.38 plus I added a tip on top of that at 20%. Second the pictures are not AI they are unedited taken directly outside your establishment so don't act like it's not your shit product you're putting out there claiming it's AI lol. My main point here is frozen yogurt should be cheaper than traditional ice cream and I pay half the price for it and get double the quantity of not more. Both photos are there and listed and unedited. It was a sole whip with pineapple(3) and chocolate sprinkles. It's what you serve. The pictures are not AI quality hahaha. It's definitely low quality photos to match the low quality product and over prices for what you receive and I used actually local ice cream establishments as a a comparison to how it's over priced for what you get compared to real homemade ice cream. For anyone reading this review; definitely don't waste your money for a crap product they are putting out. Plain and simple. Absolute trash. People.... the simple response alone from these idiots say everything you need to know....stay away from this place at all costs. I was so excited for the Marketplace to have a frozen yogurt shop again. We went in the afternoon to celebrate the first day of school. Everyone seemed to have the same idea. The line had 20 plus people and they only had 2 people working. The line took awhile because the workers handle the yogurt and toppings. The thing I really enjoy about most yogurt places is that I have more control over the amount of yogurt and toppings, which this shop does not do. Toppings cost $2 which depending on the size of cup is great for a large but not for the mini. However, we really did like the cookies and cream and the peanut butter yogurt. I went during their soft opening week. The decor is "upscale " for a yogurt shop. It's gorgeous in there. Lots of flavors of froyo to choose from there seems to be a dairy free and a no sugar added option daily as week as many flavors to choose from. Theres lots of traditional toppings and they also have acai bowls I got the golden pb bowl with almond butter the almond butter drizzle seemed extremely fresh. Fruits were perfectly ripe and average size bowls. My only concern is the menu board is placed in a spot where I had to turn my neck and could hardly read it. I have my contacts on but I still had trouble viewing it so I just ordered the first thing I saw. It's a perfect location and I look forward to trying more stuff . Don't know why but I was expecting to have complaints based on past reviews and comments, however, I was very pleasantly surprised. This place was pretty clean, the workers were pretty attentive, and even though there was a long line, the wait wasn't horrible as the workers were going as fast as they could. The inside was very nice and clean, but unfortunately, I'm giving one star because of the customer service. My order had to be remade after the wrong topping was added, and when it was remade, the wrong ice cream was used. I had already paid, so I politely let them know and was very apologetic about asking for it to be fixed again. The manager responded with an attitude when asking what was wrong, and I also noticed the employee rolling her eyes. I understand mistakes happen, but I shouldn't have to feel like I was the problem for politely asking for the order I paid for. I absolutely loved Goldenspoon growing up since I'm from the OC! I'm so happy it's in Bakersfield! The two young girls this beautiful Thursday morning were amazing. I love that they both greeted me as I walked in, and the girl in glasses gave me a picture-perfect yogurt! I love that I can walk out and take nice pics of my yogurt compared to Yogurtland, where it's not as pleasing to the eye as goldenspoon.
