Best Ice Cream I've ever had. This is a family owned ice cream shop. They created their own recipes and make the ice cream themselves. These hand crafted ice creams are velvety and delicious. They have a wonderful array of flavors. But what I like most is that they are not overly sweet, don't get me wrong that are sweet enough. But some places have factory ice cream that is so sweet and full of additives that it doesn't taste good. Here you just get simple creamy deliciousness with simple ingredients. The staff is friendly and helpful in this lovely little shop. It was a beautiful day so I was able to sit outside to enjoy my treat. It was the most relaxing moment of my week. This place offers outside seating and FREE SAMPLES! The guava seasonal flavor was #1 #2 was seasonal berry 3 leches and #3 was seasonal almond something, I can't recall the name. This is where I get my Sweet Fix when I'm in Bakersfield. They are located across the street from the Hyatt Place I was staying at, so I actually walked over. Located in the same plaza as Trader Joes. As I approached there was cute tables outside, and cute tables inside as well. Very family friendly. Jacob welcomed me in and helped me with my order. He informed me of their locally sourced high-quality ingredients, and how all the ice cream are made in small batches here at the store. Their ice creams are all natural, made from scratch, no high fructose corn syrup, pasture-grazed dairy, no preservatives or additives, no artificial flavors or colors. Their Italian ices are dairy free, fat-free, gluten free, vegan, premium fruit puree and fruit blends, with no preservatives or additives. I had a few samples and I could taste the quality in each bite. The texture was perfect! It was so hard for me to narrow it down, but Jacob let me know that I could pick 2 flavors for the small. Yay! As a fan of seasonal flavors, I got their Christmas Peppermint and Gingerbread Crinkle Cookie. Both were delicioussssss. My personal favorite is the butterscotch cookie. It is delicious but I've also gotten the rose champagne cake and the salted Carmel pretzel, both of which were terrific. My daughters love the cookies and cream, bourbon vanilla, and the season Frappuccino one. I love that non only is the ice cream delicious and smooth, it's all-natural. The staff is always friendly and greet you with a smile and say goodbye when you leave. They happily give you samples of whatever you want to try, and they give generous scoops. When we said we haven't, he explained everything to us. Great customer service. You can sample the ice creams before you buy them to make sure that's what you want. I stopped by Sweet fix creamery a few times now. I love the fact that this place offers seasonal flavors. So there's always something new to try on my last visit. I tried their summer seasonal flavor, which was s'mores, and it was amazing. During the winter time, I had the opportunity to try their champagne cake, ice cream and that was also amazing. They do offers free samples and the staff here is always very nice and helpful and will offer recommendations if asked.
