END UPDATE For years I have been able to rely on and trust the staff of Gateway Automotive. Today when my car died outside of the library I called the shop and Ryan assured me that if I towed it over they would take care of it so I did. I was immediately greeted by the staff and Ryan went straight to work. The problem was diagnosed and repaired in less than 2 hours. He was direct, accurate and incredibly helpful. I am grateful for his hard work. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I ALWAYS recommend this shop for the fact that they've never been wrong and have always been honest. Many times I've sent my friends to Gateway for second opinions and nearly every time their diagnosis was on point and way more affordable. It's hard to find an honest mechanic in this town... I have a lot of empathy for the young guys working at this facility. Unfortunately, I was there…read moreuntil 6 PM because somebody quit and my car was pushed to the end of the line even though I arrived at 7:45 AM. Why is the owner not supervising these young technicians? They have very little experience and should be supervised by experienced in licensed mechanics. When I picked up my vehicle, the alignment seemed way off. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the work they performed, but they certainly took the two front rims and tires off the vehicle. All I can tell you is my steering wheel was jiggly back & forth driving over 60mph. As a result, I have to take my suv to a tire shop for a wheel alignment. Another $100 bucks.

He inspected our car and noticed that our ac compressor was very new but wasn't properly done by our previous mechanic. He recommended for us to go back to our mechanic since the part would be still under warranty and would save us the cost to redo the repair all over again. He helped us get tow service to get home safely. He went above and beyond to help us. We owe him so much and are soo grateful. Highly recommend this shop. They are very honest and kind. Most of the fluids on the Mazda plus a door fix. Waited a bit to see if any issues would come up , but 30 days later I'm still happy. Fair pricing , and good honest work. Small staff so don't expect answers right away, as he is always working on something. I always drop off my car and I get an update when ready in a few days or week. Gives me peace of mind knowing I have this place to drop my car off if any issues come up.
