I can't recommend these guys enough. My experience with them is everything you want an auto repair situation to be. Professional, communicative, knowledgeable and timely. I had them replace the clutch in my 2004 Toyota. Drop off was smooth, their estimated time to complete was on point. Dropped off Wednesday morning and the the old gal was ready Friday afternoon. Last clutch I had put in, the mechanic had it for a week. They called on Thursday and let me know two of my motor mounts were broken, gave me a parts estimate and replaced those as well. Our Kia Sorrento was having issues with the transmission so we took it in to Kia which was a mistake and a waste of our time. They quoted us a ridiculous amount for a new transmission. We decided to call CTT for a quote and right off the top, the receptionist who answered the call was so nice and professional and good at explaining to us the process on getting a quote. We decided to take it in and they quoted us at almost a third of the amount Kia was charging us. These folks repaired the slipping clutch on my 2004 VW Passat wagon, which has a five-speed manual transmission. Now it doesn't slip and is REALLY sensitive. I mean, I popped the clutch and stalled the car twice because I'm still getting used to how it feels. I think they did a pretty good job at a reasonable price. I'm pretty sure I spent more on the repair than the car is worth, but hey, still cheaper than a new car, and I get 31MPG on the freeway... We were having a nightmare cross country trip when your car breaks down out of town and you know you're going to get ripped off trying to get it fixed. I had my daughter take her 2009 GTI to CTT after another shop told her she NEEDED a new transmission because her gears were slipping between 2nd 3rd. We got a second opinion from a shop that deals with transmissions everyday. CTT said, "appears to shift through all gears as it should at this time." I am so thankful for what these guys had did to my truck. I have a 2000 Ford Explorer 4.0 4wd with the 5R55E transmission. Went to go get the transmission fluids change and the oil place that did fluid change didn't do it properly. I asked for a pan drop and filter change. They just did fluid flush which irritated my transmission with no filter or pan drop. So I took my truck to these experts and they fixed the issue. Couldn't be happier to have my truck fixed. OMG!!! The statement he made is absolutely true! He stated it to me as i was picking up 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and he said that word from word. Because that is exactly what he did... I live in Washington state but grew up here, ion after arriving into town my jeep had some type of "stroke" did'nt, would'nt shift gears but i could speed shift it only to get it to go up to 55 mph, drove like it was in 4 part time.I was referred to them from SpeeDee oil Changers on Coffee Rd. (Another wonderful place) This wa on a friday around 3:30 (wonderful) JUSTIN:the first person i met, he was on the phone but was so polite to me and the person he was helping it made me feel better. Then he actually listened to me explain in detail what i thought was wrong with my Jeep. Like until i calmed down. (Impressive) After Explaining everything they do in just in the diagnostically i could say was "wow, ok"then he said "ill be the one working on your car." (This is where that mission statement in the beginning comes in) Because of that, Justin repaired my jeep. Just like it was his jeep. I'm a single mom that knows nothing about cars so when my car literally stopped accelerating one day I panicked and assumed the worst. I had a friend that had a feelingg it was the transmission so after finding this place decided to take it in and hope for the best. Not only were these guys super friendly but they took my car in that morning and to do the diagnostics. Knowing nothing about cars I assume they're going to tell me I need a whole new transmission but I got a call later that day from John who explained, in words I could understand lol, what he found and what they wanted to do and it was not only way more simple than a whole nEw transmission but for way less than what I was expecting to pay by far!! I told him go for it that I trusted their advice and he then told me the next beSt thing you can hear from a car repair place, that my car would be ready literally the next business day.
