I called local dealerships here in Modesto differential shops. I drove by the rear end shop coming home from from yet another dealership saying they couldn't do it keeping my truck for two days and charging me 115 dollars. Anyways I called rear end shop the owner was super cool fit me in the next and was finished with it within hours. I would recommend that place to anyone with a four wheel drive that needs work and tired of getting the run around. Didn't charge charge me very much. The only negative thing I would say is that I was overcharged by about 10 bucks a quart for the amsoil after I bought separately no big deal. Anyways very hard to find good reliable shops like the rear end shop off of Patterson road in riverbank!! You guys kick ass thanks again

So story short my rear end heated up and destroyed my clutch for the posy. This shop was very cool and Willy the owner got me in right away and fixed the problem. I decided to upgrade from the OEM rear and upgrade to an Eaton Truetrac and they had it installed in one full day. I went to pick it up the next day by 4 pm and they even fine tuned the linkage for my transfer case which I also bought. I will definitely be coming back here. Thanks Rear End Shop for supporting Vets and the local community.

We were headed for Sonora for a "girls" weekend when we noticed the tire warnings on my Honda CRV were all lit up. We stopped to check and put air in the tires ourselves but her nails were too long and mine were too short to complete the job so we headed for Google. We are are so fortunate to come across the ad for this company and we ended up there completely at their mercy. We were afraid to drive all the way to Sonora with any kind of warning lights on. The manager, Danniel Mancilla, treated us so well and took care of our problem so effortlessly that both of us were amazed. We don't get this kind of treatment in the Bay Area. I was prepared to purchase 4 new tires from them if need be but he assured me that I was simply low on air because of the weather change after he checked the tires thoroughly. Not only did he do that but he recalibrated my car to get rid of the warning lights...all with little or no effort and a smile. We didn't have to wait...and it wasn't that they weren't busy...he just did it himself. And when I ask him how much I owed him he said "glad you stopped here and hope you will return". Amazing. I live in Fremont but I just may call him and go to Oakdale when it's time for new tires. Thank you Danniel and the staff at Oakdale Auto Care and Tire for making two damsels in distress very happy. First a had it in for coolant flush ( i have a 2016 Toyota corollla). They put the wrong coolant in . I didn't pay attention till a month later. I flushed it out myself to fix it. But any reputable shop should know toyotas require the pink Asian coolant or equivalent. What it says not to do is put Green Univeral coolant( which they did). And a month after that I wanted front brakes done.just basic pad replacement and resurface rotors. I just checked the pads myself when i took wheels off. So after they checked then and called me back.." oh its gonna need $1250 of work with new pads and new calipers. They said one calipers wasn't compressing the pad and it had 8mm still.haha BS. Either way 1200 for a front brake job on a simple car with readily available parts. Scam ripoff. He'll even stealership wasn't this much. Of course I didn't pay that. And showed them a quote from Les Scwab ( which i thought was high). For half the price. Guess I'll do brakes myself for now on too.

Frank holds high standards of service, knowledge and hard work and he insists on the same for his employees. His prices are fair, he's honest and his education is extremely impressive. After I totaled my car frank helped me choose one without hesitation (probably because I kept bringing my choices to him only to have him say NO YO ). After more than a decade of trusting my car and safety with Gateway and thanks to Franks help ... I finally purchased a new car and it Looks like I'll be a loyal customer forEVER The shop is open Mon thru Fri and his prices remain very fair. END UPDATE For years I have been able to rely on and trust the staff of Gateway Automotive. Today when my car died outside of the library I called the shop and Ryan assured me that if I towed it over they would take care of it so I did. I was immediately greeted by the staff and Ryan went straight to work. The problem was diagnosed and repaired in less than 2 hours. He was direct, accurate and incredibly helpful. I am grateful for his hard work. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I ALWAYS recommend this shop for the fact that they've never been wrong and have always been honest. Many times I've sent my friends to Gateway for second opinions and nearly every time their diagnosis was on point and way more affordable. It's hard to find an honest mechanic in this town... Gateway fills that need

Why is the owner not supervising these young technicians? They have very little experience and should be supervised by experienced in licensed mechanics. When I picked up my vehicle, the alignment seemed way off. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the work they performed, but they certainly took the two front rims and tires off the vehicle. All I can tell you is my steering wheel was jiggly back & forth driving over 60mph. As a result, I have to take my suv to a tire shop for a wheel alignment. Another $100 bucks.
