Totally blown away! I had my suv towed there thinking i had to rebuild my transmission ready to fork over $2,800. Could not believe it when Ray from CTT called me and was completely honest. All my issue was driving it in 4 low at high speeds . Had i had it in 2 wheel drive or auto 4 i would have not experienced the jerking. They could have told me i needed tranny work, but not this place! 100% honest. Highly reccomend bringing your vehicle here. Its darn near impossible to find an honest mechanic shop, let alone a transmission shop. Couldnt have been more satisfied! Will never take my vehicle anywhere else!! read more

I couldn't be happier with CTT, they rebuilt my transmission for my 98 Pontiac Sunfire; the technician John was very knowledgeable, polite, and he was a straight shooter. He allowed me to come down and show me what was causing the issues with my transmission. I couldn't of asked for better customer service. The manager Justin, was very easy to talk to, he explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, he too was very knowledgeable, and he seemed genuine about helping resolve the issue with my car. I took my car in today because it was making a funny noise and the technician Joe was able to look at my car and let me know that it was a motor mount issue which had nothing to do with the work that was previous done on the transmission. Ray, Justin, and John are absolutely amazing. I have 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 6spd 4wd with 35inch tires. So my transmission started going out and I had gone to another shop and had an awful experience, to the point where I was really nervous about going to another shop. Everyone here answered my questions and really tried to make me feel at ease. When they pulled my transmission out they offered me the chance to come see my transmission all apart and explain what was wrong with it, which I totally did and it was worth it. They are very knowledgeable and John explained everything that was wrong and how they were going to fix it. Justin and Ray have incredible customer service and they walked me through the process and how long the repair would take. They not only fixed my pickup but they got it done earlier than anticipated. Took our 2007 van in. We thought it might be a huge transmission problem. With only 35,000 miles on it! The great staff at CTT looked through it, took it for a test drive and were able to diagnose a clutch issue. They explained everything to me in terms that I understood. Women often find it difficult to find an honest mechanic, one who won't take advantage of the often truth that females are not usually very educated in the art of mechanics. It is easy to charge women more or sell unnecessary services to us because we usually aren't learning about cars. Justin and his team looked at my car, stayed within the estimated time to diagnose and helped me understand and determine the problem. I saw this place as I was driving by and I decided to call and schedule an appointment for the next day because I thought something was wrong with my transmission. I spoke with John who was not only professional, but very nice and down to earth. I came in the following day and met with John. I had just gotten a major tune-up, a new radiator and a new distributor (all at 3 different times within the last 30 days) at 2 other shops as I was strandes out of the area. So the last thing I needed was a bad transmission. I was terrified that this was going to be the case. Ater taking it for a test drive and putting it on a lift, John found the problem...took all of about 10 minutes (if that). The old distributor coil had fallen through an area in the engine and was hitting my right rotar as I drove. I was soooo relieved and thrilled to death that John was so experienced and HONEST! I was really worried because I didn't want to be taken advantage of because I'm "a woman". I was very pleasantly surprised by John's commitment to look out for the customer's best interest and his honesty. I treat people the way I would like to be treated, and John does too! He treated me like family. While I am happy that I don't require his services at this time, I am also happy to have found this great shop with great people, and if I ever have any issues, I know where to go. I took my 2007 Honda Civic SI into another shop (that I won't name) after my starter went out. The shop proceeded to tell me my starter was out, as I suspected, but that it also took my flywheel out with it. The repair estimate was astronomical, even without the starter included. I thought it was a high price for a regular non-specialty shop and decided to consult with Clutch & Transmission Technicians (CTT). They were very friendly; Justin and Ray were empathetic and understood I needed my car back ASAP as it is my only means of transportation to and from work and school. The great staff at CTT looked through it, diagnosed the problem and explained to me the various options. They explained everything very clearly to me in terms that I understood. I appreciated their honesty, integrity, and thoroughness. The price was fair and it was ready when they said it would be. I have not had any problems at all since then. If it wasn't for the great technicians at Clutch & Transmission I could be dead. I had taken my car to a dealership for a routine oil change and tire rotation, they gave me a report saying the transmission was leaking. When I took it over to Ray he looked at my car and found that it was not the transmission leaking-- it was the wheel bearings, and my tire could fall off at any time. The dealership let me leave without even mentioning that at any moment, my tire could have fallen off and I could have been severely injured in an accident! Thank goodness for Ray. I will always take my car to him, and refer all of my friends to his shop. And the price for fixing the bearings was very reasonable. In addition, the shop is clean and everyone is very friendly. I would not trust my car repairs with anyone else. read more

Clutch & Transmission provided an excellent service. They serviced two of my vehicles on four different occasions, and each time exceeded all my expectations on turn around time and cost. Clutch & Trans serviced both my Suburban and Yukon XL 4x4 error codes very reasonably and one of them has been working for over a year and a half and still going. They are fantastic, and my vehicles are still running great. They are very honest, I took my Yukon XL in thinking that I have a transmission leak, and only turned out to be the water pump. read more
