Took my 2026 brand new Nissan Sentra to get the windows tinted. Got an appointment set picked it up…read morethe same day about 2-3 hrs later. I inspected the vehicle before I left. There were several issues with the window tint, seemed like the job was rushed that day. There was a lot of lint, gooey stuff and air bubbles trapped in the middle of the windows. Also scratches on the tint itself. I was told they were going on vacation and to bring the car back in about a week or two when they get back from vacation and they would fix it. Which I thought was unacceptable. I paid $500 for the vortex tint, which helps keep heat out of the car and keep your car cooler on the inside during the summer. So it was a pretty good chunk of money. I expected good quality service. I proceeded to wait about another week and a half before they came back from vacation. I spoke with the owner Tony, He did in fact guarantee that he was going to fix my problem and work on my car himself. I set another appointment date for him to fix my tint, I got my car back a few hours later and there were still bubbles trapped in the window a scratch on the windows tint. Drove it home and realized how many defects were on the windows. It was a little bit better than the first tint job they did, but it was still not what I expected for the amount that I paid. I also noticed a deep scratch that took off paint on my car on the inner part of the back passenger door, which of course they denied doing (mind you this car was less than two weeks old when I drove it off the lot brand new, so it definitely didn't have not one scratch on this car). definitely would not recommend taking your car to them. I had tint hanging off the window. I asked for them to just remove all of the tint and give my money back because I was very unsatisfied with the job as they were given 2 opportunities to fix my problems and they refused refunds. They also told me that apparently my expectations are too high and I should just settle for the job because that's acceptable work. They told me, "of course if you look too hard, you're going to find something, no tint job is perfect." I wasn't looking for a perfect excellent tint job. I was looking for a decent professional, minimally flawed job to be done for the amount that I paid, but I'll let the picture speak for themselves and you can decide if you want to take your car there and have them work on it how they worked on mine. This is my opinion. This is my experience and this is my results. I'm sure the owner is gonna come on here and try to discredit what I'm saying but the proof is in the pictures. I requested a refund, he denied it. I told him about the scratch. He denied it. I was definitely dismissed and told that my expectations were too high. I would never recommend this place to anybody. I may have a lifetime warranty, but I would rather take my car to another place to get another tint job if something ever happened to this tint, then go back to them ever again.

With a brand new vehicle I am extra careful where I go and automatic car washes could potentially have brushes that scratch your paint. Everyone knows this. A family member told me there is a touchless car wash in Ceres and so I came to check it out. They provide three different wash options: Better, Best, and Good. As of July 2024, the prices of each are $10, $13, and $16, respectively. They not only provide single washes but also limitless monthly programs! That is available for $23, $33, and $40, respectively. Per my family, the prices have only gone up by one $1 in two years, which is pretty amazing since we are in an inflation. I always go for the Best single wash. This service includes a complimentary free towel, car freshener, and dash wipe! Before the service, the worker also pre-soaks and scrubs your vehicle to get the grime off. The wash is very clean and thorough. You just drive up to the middle of the wash and let the machine do its work by going around multiple times. At the end is a slow blowdry. Not only the wash but this place has vacuum stations too! I highly recommend this spot for a touchless wash.

I had my windows tinted at this shop, and I must say, it was an absolute disaster. Not only did they leave my tint full of bubbles the first time around, but when I brought it to their attention, they had the audacity to blame me, accusing me of having OCD. After much insistence, they agreed to redo the tinting, but the result was even worse than before. The bubbles were still there, and now there were additional imperfections. It's clear that they either lack the necessary skills or simply don't care about providing quality service. I would strongly advise against anyone considering this shop for tinting services. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere where your money and time will be better spent. Update: I strongly advise against trusting this shop. They attempted to persuade me to retract my review by offering to remove the tint and then refund me, which I declined. Despite giving them a chance to rectify their subpar work, it only worsened. Lee, I regret to say that I can no longer entrust my vehicle to your shop I'd rather not have a refund than risk my car in your shop. I've already provided the receipt via Yelp, so it's perplexing why you requested it again via text. This review is genuine, with no ulterior motives. Your assertion that my dissatisfaction stems from OCD is baseless. My expectations for quality simply exceed yours. The review will stay you sound ridiculous. Your accusation of dishonesty lacks merit. I provided the receipt to you privately before posting it publicly. However, your requirement for a refund, insisting on an appointment to remove the tint you installed, became unnecessary as another shop has already replaced the substandard tint. Your failure to fulfill your claimed 100% satisfaction guarantee is evident. It raises concerns about how many others you've influenced to retract negative reviews. Your conduct is deeply disappointing. Your repeated assertions about my behavior are entirely unfounded and deeply concerning. I recently had my vehicle tinted at Eclipse Window Tinting and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with the owner, Lee. When I originally brought my vehicle in, I explained that I needed it completed by a certain time. The job ended up running about 45 minutes late, and it felt rushed. After inspecting the work, I noticed a very noticeable beard hair trapped underneath the front windshield tint directly in the passenger's line of sight. This is a brand new vehicle that had just been professionally detailed the day before, so I know it did not come from inside the vehicle. I called Lee a few days later, and he agreed to redo the windshield tint and scheduled me for Thursday morning. However, when I called today to ask if I could reschedule for Saturday due to a conflict, the conversation immediately became unprofessional. Instead of simply rescheduling, he started making excuses about how difficult my windshield was to tint and explained that during installation there is a short period of time where they "can't control what's in the atmosphere," implying that debris or hair getting trapped under the tint can happen. He also stated that if anything gets stuck behind the tint again, they are not going to continue redoing the windshield and that I would "probably just have to live with it." As a customer who spent around $500, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect quality work and professional customer service. Mistakes happen, but how a business handles those mistakes says everything about their professionalism and pride in their work. This was actually the third vehicle I've brought to Lee over the years, and while he's always had a bit of an attitude, I brushed it off as personality. After this experience, though, I can honestly say I won't be returning. I'll be taking my business elsewhere to have the windshield redone properly by a company that stands behind its work and values customer service. If I could give negative stars, I absolutely would. Unfortunately yelp requires at least one star, because based on this experience, both the workmanship and customer service fell far below what I expected. read more

I went to Eclipse two weeks ago to protect my car from the heat and add some needed privacy tints. They were very accommodating and knowledgeable over the phone, walking me through my options and offering me a great price. I was luckily able to be seen the same day, and the job was complete after about 4 hours. My car looks like it has a newer character to it now, and my commute feels cooler even on a sunny day. I can already tell my car will feel a lot better to drive during the summer. Since getting my windows tinted, I have been paying attention to other tinted cars on the road, and the difference is notable. Eclipse did a phenomenal job making sure the tint film adhered to the windows without imperfections. They really took the time to do it right the first time and it shows. No bubbles, no peeling, no gaps, just a solid barrier against sunlight and bright LED headlights. I had my windows tinted here over five years ago, and I can confidently say they still look as good as the day they were installed! Not only did they offer the best prices at the time, but their customer service has remained top-notch even years later. I came in for a windshield tint and got hooked up with a sunroof tint at the same time for being a repeat customer! I came back even after 5 years! My window tint lasted this long and was still in the perfect condition! I had to get my windshield replaced because of cracks nothing due to the tint. Eclipse tint knows how to take care of their customers and cares about the customer experience. Anytime I've had questions or needed minor adjustments, they've been more than happy to help. Messed up my tint. Cash only. Never gave me a receipt. Worst job ever. I just want the good citizen's of Modesto to be safe. This owner threatens and harasses you after they mess up your car. Ask yourself would any reputable business threat, insult and attack customers. They are amateur tinters. They don't even have the machine that auto cuts by your makers car, they do it by hand with a safety razor and the shop is run down. You guys don't have to believe me, but I warned you. Whatever this crazed guys says ignore. He's a dangerous thug! He's calling me a enemy for a poor job he did, hence my one star? I could only assume he's a deranged hoodlum. I'm scared for my life now with these threats! I include his response in case he deletes. He also insulted my religious stature! Pls people be wary of this shop! I have warned you all! If you are wanting to deal with a professional, curtious, genuine, timely, efficient, meticulous tinter...Lee at Eclipse Tint is the way to go! This individual tinted my Brand New Honda Accord 2 years ago. MY TINT CAME OUT IMMMACULATE! For me that is HUGE, as I am very meticulous, and have a fine eye for detail- sometimes scrutinized for being that way.I was truly impressed! :) Right before Halloween this year I had to remove my tint, due to a 'Notice of Correction'- anyone in the tinting family knows what this entails. Either way I remembered what Lee had told me 2 years ago at the time of the first tint... I called his office, heard a very friendly and welcoming voice. It was Lee; he had me come right down. I recently moved here to Modesto and was looking for a good tint shop. Jumped online and saw all the great reviews about Eclipse . Let me tell you. It's 5 stars for a reason . When I originally spoke to Lee about tinting and getting an exterior detail in my recently bought used car . (Wanted to make it look new again) I called other shops in the area before calling eclipse . He quoted me a fair price, then dropped it more because I told em I found him on Yelp. Then when I came in, he lowered it even more because he didn't have to spend as much time tinting back window due to rear defrost lines not being as thick as other cars . He could have easily kept the price the way it was and I would have been happy. In conclusion , ended up getting a great price, honest and fair guy, explained everything, excellent customer service. If I could give 0 stars I would! Today I called to get an estimate and I'm guessing the owner Lee answered. He gave me an estimate (way more expensive than what my second choice quoted me) so I said "oh, okay thank you!" and I got no reply just a hang up. He then called me back on a personal number (???) being rude as hell yelling at me telling me I shouldn't be calling around for estimates on window tinting and questioning if I was calling around for the lowest prices because if I was I shouldn't be etc. It was obvious he was mad that I didn't set an appointment and that other reviews about this guy being asshole and totally condescending towards women are true! I then asked what his name was and he told me his name was "Mike" but I'm pretty sure that was a fake name. I can't imagine doing business with this guy and regret even thinking about coming here! I got my windows done here but I would never go back to get any car done here again.. When u call this guy who owns the place is so damn arrogant it's ridiculous.. He's a smart ass and way to confident about his window tinting ability.. I mean seriously it's just window tinting not surgery.. As soon as you call and start talking to the guy he goes on about how he's the best and they are as close to perfect as can be blah blah blah.. If his attitude was more humble and friendly he would probably get alot more business than he gets now.. He doesn't know the meaning of being on time and don't get your windows done to early in the morning cause you gotta call him to confirm your apt.. But really you just need to get him out of bed.. The owner is always friendly, professional, and takes the time to explain the different tint options and levels available so you know exactly what you're getting. What really keeps us coming back is the consistency and customer service. Every vehicle has come out looking amazing, and the quality of work speaks for itself. Wanted to give this guy my business, but you wont tell what product you use because your competitors will bash that brand. I've called 10 to 15 places between the bay area and here in the valley. Not one has told me that. You say that you use ONLY the top line of the brand. Sorry, your top line might be of a low end brand. If you ask me that is what you use. The top of the line of a low end brand. There must not be a warranty outside of you. Hope that you don't go out of business or I move away. Classy move by hanging up on me when I said that I wasn't going to use you since I didn't know what I was buying. If you don't believe me, call and ask about the brand. During my first experience with Eclipse I came back a little earlier than he told me to pick up my car, and saw him working on another car. He had started mine but then a customer stopped in and requested warranty work. He very politely approached me and explained he stands by his work 100% and wanted to make sure everyone was happy. My car was still done in the exact time he told me despite squeezing in the warranty fix. Ive now taken 7-8 cars to Eclipse over the years with never any issues or even a single bubble or blemish to speak of. Lee is a straight shooter and does top quality work at low prices. If you want a foot massage while you wait or to know crazy details and information on the film, go pay triple the price down the street. I got my windows tinted this past weekend and Lee was very accommodating. I didn't know how long it was going to take so I had both kids with me- a 6 year old and a 1 year old. He was busy working on another car but since my son was asleep he let me pull the truck into the garage to get him out of the sun. While measuring the windows and cutting the tint for the truck he carried on a conversation with my 6 year old daughter and truly made us feel comfortable waiting in his shop. I was getting the windows tinted as a surprise for my husband and Lee gave great recommendations of what would look good and what he thought my husband would like. I've had a few cars tinted in the past from other shops where I live in Arizona and was on vacation with my new Mercedes but had not yet tinted my windows. A family member here in Modesto recommended Lee at Eclipse, so I called and he was able to get me in within a day. He helped me with the shades and he got me the ceramic tint. Got referred here by my dad and was not disappointed. Lee is a man who knows his craft and super informative about different films and applications. His prices are reasonable and quality is shown through his work. He even gave me a free windshield strip (from a misunderstanding on my part about needing an appointment) and was able to still find time and squeeze me in. Now my car looks great, and my baby girl will stay cool in the back seat. You can't go wrong here, amazing work ,transparency, and customer service. Lee has now done 5 cars in my family. Today was my second time coming to Lee and he has done an absolute amazing job on my cars. I get lots of compliments on the tint and he is also very honest. He will flat out tell you if he is able to tint the specific car you have. Unlike others that will do the job and not do it the right way. He tries his best to make time for my car when I call last minute and gets it done in the time frame he gives me. He's very good at communicating with you and the price is on point. There is also a lifetime warranty on the tint as long as you save your receipt. Give Lee a chance you will not regret it. He will transform your vehicle in no time. Did an online quote Thursday after closing hours and Lee got back to me within an hour later. Called him on Friday and had an appointment first thing Saturday morning. I had 4 windows done on my wife's 2020 Land Rover and had my back window redone on our 2018 Challenger. Both came out EXCELLENT and we are both very happy with the outcome. Just one warning and its nothing huge but Lee only takes cash so dont go in thinking you can charge or use your debit.. His prices are reasonable and the quality of work and his professionalism is top notch. These guys do a great job. I took my F250 there full of mud, mud everywhere! Also, I had a ton of water spots on my truck. The truck is only a few years old but was looking 10 with all the water spots and dull paint. They ended up doing a full detail head to toe including the engine compartment. The truck looks great!! They really made it shine, it literally looks like the first day I got it. I also had them tent the windows on my Wife's car, it looks great as well. I will recommend these guys to everyone and I plan on using them for regular washes as well! read more

Saw the great reviews, called and spoke with Lee. He was well priced and scheduled me an appointment at my convenience, showed up, he did the two front windows in my 2010 Silverado. He was courteous, gave me a great deal and fast. Truck was done it 35 min. Professional of this trade, when you do something and make it look easy, your a pro. I would recommend anyone to this shop. I am not sure why there are any negative reviews on this busines...but one should always remember, you cant please all the people all the time. I had a good experience. James read more
