Excellent service from the very first phone call. I called this morning for a quote to have one of our vehicles tinted and some old adhesive removed from a previous tint job, and the entire experience was easy, honest, and professional from start to finish. They were very straightforward about pricing and never once tried to upsell me on anything I did not ask for. I was looking for a basic tint job and adhesive removal, and that is exactly what they quoted me for. They were also able to fit me in the same day, which I really appreciated. When I brought the vehicle in, he was extremely personable, polite, and easy to work with. The service was finished in a few hours, and they called me as soon as it was ready for pickup. What really stood out to me was how they handled a misunderstanding regarding the adhesive removal. When I originally called, he understood that the glue was only on the front two windows, but there was actually adhesive covering the front windshield as well. That obviously ended up being more work than what was originally discussed. When I came back to pick up the vehicle, he explained what had happened and told me he was not going to charge me extra for the additional work because we had not communicated clearly about it beforehand. I really respected that. He could have easily added another charge after the work was already completed, but instead he was fair, honest, and stood by the original price. That level of honesty and customer service is what really made the experience stand out to me. The pricing was fair, the work was done quickly, and came out exceptional and I never felt like I was being pushed into spending more than what I came in for. I am extremely happy with the service I received and will absolutely be recommending them to friends, family, and colleagues who need tint work done. Five stars and very well deserved. read more

Outstanding Quality & Service! I'm a repeat customer of Eclipse Window Tint & PPF Modesto. They first did flawless 5% ceramic tint on my 2025 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro. I recently returned with my 2024 Silverado 2500HD Duramax for 5% ceramic tint all around and 25% on the windshield--another outstanding job! Top-tier products, excellent workmanship, clean shop, great communication, and exceptional attention to detail. The owner truly cares about his customers and their vehicles. 5/5 Stars - Absolutely Amazing Service!I cannot recommend Eclipse Window Tint & PPF enough! I recently brought in my daughter's 2007 Honda Civic. Since it's an older car, I was really hesitant and confused about whether it was even worth tinting. However, Lee was incredibly nice, patient, and walked me through everything. He gave me a fantastic price and did an absolutely beautiful job on the car. This isn't my first time here, either. I brought my 2022 Honda Civic to Lee a few years ago for tinting, and his work has held up perfectly. Over the years, I have referred many people to him, and every single one of them has been incredibly happy with his work. Lee is honest, professional, and highly skilled. If you need window tinting, this is the absolute best place to go! read more

Lee has been tinting my cars for over 20 years! I moved to Arizona about 6 years ago and haven't been able to find a comparable shop. Recently traveled back to Modesto to visit family and purposely drove the new car just so Lee could do his magic. Lee scheduled us on 3 days notice and knocked it out of the park. 11 hour drive was 100% worth it! read more

Great and speedy service, friendly, and VERY reasonably priced! Will definitely be coming back for any future tint jobs.

I had my SUV taken care of by Lee in early 2023 and had tint placed on every window. It was such a great job for a great price. I guess I never realized how important the tints job was until my front windshield had to be replaced. I drove around for about a week after it was replaced , but without tint. The sun was so hot and the rays were so bright. I immediately called Lee and scheduled an appointment, and I even drove down from the Bay Area. As soon as the front window installation was completed, my suv felt complete again. I highly recommend Lee to anyone considering tint! You won't regret the decision! read more

We brought our ford escape here to have all the windows tinted before the summer. Pricing was great and exactly what Lee quoted us over the phone. Tint looks amazing and smooth. While the pricing was affordable and the quality was reflected by their hard work, the shop stood out most for the way they take care of their clients. Eclipse Tinting is the definition of an above and beyond customer service experience. Lee was welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. We've not been able to easily open our back driver-side door for the better part of a year. Without being asked, Lee took it upon himself to fix it for us and probably saved us a few hundred dollars. If you want perfect and affordable tint and a completely guest centered experience, Eclipse Tinting is the place to go. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!! read more
