We recently bought a new home out in the valley and even with dual panel windows and a 4 ton AC the house remained hot throughout the day. I did some research and stumbled upon Solargard. They offer a premium line callled Panorama Elite Window Film. I found about 4 companies who were certified by Solargard and I found Modesto Window Tint listed as one. Their pricing was the lowest estimate and fastest I received back. I sent Tony the measurements over text and he was able to get me a quote the same day! We opted for the Dual reflective Slate series. They offer exceptional solar rejection performance with a more neutral finish. They maintain views with reduced interior and exterior reflectance, while increasing privacy by day and offering minimal reflectivity at night. They also come with a lifetime warranty for residential. The house now feels much cooler. I don't have to worry about having the AC constantly adjusting as it maintains a cooler temperature than before. We will have to get blinds for the inside to close during the night as the interior lights will allow others to see in since light source inside is brighter than the one outside. Tony was very helpful and super knowledgeable. He was able to get the job done for my entire house approximately 39 panels! We decided to go with full privacy in the bathrooms while still letting light come in and the frost option was the way to go. Tony recommended that we go 30 percent down stairs and 20 percent upstairs to make sure the upstairs stay cool and comfortable. We did all the common areas in 30 to allow light to come in and went with 20 in the rooms to have more privacy. The day of the installation Tony and his sons come all prepared with shoe protection, and got the job done in about 4 hrs. They are very well detailed and organized. Sucks I have to give a rate when I didn't get any work done. I called to get a quote & make an appointment.. front desk answered and quoted me $295-$275 when I gave information of what was needed done she cut me off and just gave a price. I didn't get her name, nor would she let me speak to a manager when I requested because she had put us down for 2PM 3/9/2023 but said I called the wrong number. Upon arrival, everyone goes to lunch and tells us to wait until they come back. I understand, everyone needs to take a lunch but why book an appointment just to have customers waiting? I call and she tells me we called the wrong number and wrong place, yet I re-dialed the number I had called in the first place to make an appointment.. after explaining I spoke to her, gave her our names and phone numbers she "remembered" she had put us down and apologized. I understand mistakes happen, but was treated so unprofessional from the start. She tells me we can still come in, and then gives a whole other price then what we spoke over the phone, I feel that would've been different if she wasn't so quick to cut me off asking questions and trying to let her know what we need done. I wanted to give this business a try as I was recommended from a friend from high school unfortunately things didn't go as planned. Very unprofessional. How do you forget what appointments you book, and proceed to tell a customer they called the wrong shop? I went in to get my truck tinted about a month ago. The service was okay, the lady behind the counter seemed like she didn't wanna be there. FYI these people do not give out a warranty option for any front windows. And guess what happened a week later? I let my windows sit without being opened or closed for a week, just to make sure the tint was settled. But I rolled my window down once and it tore the whole tint back as if they cut it way too short for the window. I would've recommended this place to my family and friends but was disappointed twice. The lady up front is super nice and helped me figure out my tint. But when I received my car my two front windows had dirt/hair on the tint and as I was checking my other windows I noticed they had ripped my seat covers that were expensive and didn't say anything to me. I had my brother call and they said they would fix it. I took it back again and they said they would take it to someone who would sew it back together instead they hot glue gunned it and I didn't realized it until this heat melted the glue. I'm just not satisfied with the way they treated this. I had even showed them a receipt of the seat covers that were damaged and explained that's the reason I'm upset cause it wasn't cheap. Overall after the second time of taking my car the tint came out good read more
