I would've recommended this place to my family and friends but was disappointed twice. The lady up front is super nice and helped me figure out my tint. But when I received my car my two front windows had dirt/hair on the tint and as I was checking my other windows I noticed they had ripped my seat covers that were expensive and didn't say anything to me. I had my brother call and they said they would fix it. I took it back again and they said they would take it to someone who would sew it back together instead they hot glue gunned it and I didn't realized it until this heat melted the glue. I'm just not satisfied with the way they treated this. I had even showed them a receipt of the seat covers that were damaged and explained that's the reason I'm upset cause it wasn't cheap. Solid team great work. They did full ceramic on my vehicle I have no problem with heat in the summer, my ac doesn't have to work as hard as it used to. My car was done in decent time but that has reflected on the job they did. Got my car back and my window switches were popped out of their door handles for whatever reason and not put back were they belong. I also found screws just laying on the floor that belong to other interior parts that they didnt put back together. There are scratches on some tint on a window that was never rolled down. I have previously taken all our vehicles to Tony's spot on Crowslanding and have never experienced any problems. We took my husbands truck to his new location on McHenry right next to Sonic there is another one on McHenry with same name next to Mark Nelson's office it is not that one so don't get confused! Anyhow my husband had gotten his tint done at another place that day but because my husband thought the guy knew what my husband wanted and that guy was talking tint language he let the guy tint his truck thinking he knew what he was doing and ended up way to dark, so Tony took care of us same day to fix the mess up. I had a good experience the first time that my Mother took my car there to get my windows tinted, but the SECOND time that I took my business there it was SO VERY SLOPPILY and POTENTIALLY HARMFULLY DONE. To begin with, my Mother had been trying to call and call and call to make an appointment and her phone call was never answered and after she kept trying to see if they would pick up the phone she got a text message which was so unprofessional. After she was finally given an appointment which was a whole week from the date she called, on her actual appointment which was at 2:30 she did not get done until about 5 pm. After being very happy to see my car after the service had been done that same night I happen to look on the top of the car and there was an opened and exposed razor blade laying there that someone could have easily cut themselves on, but we were going to let that go. The next day I went to vacuum my car and on the passenger side there was a SECOND open and exposed blade laying in the corner on the floor as well as a green tool. After my mother brought it to the attention of the receptionist in person she was told that all that she was authorized to do was give store credit and that she would relay the complaint to the owner because he was on vacation and would be back that Tuesday, I was not okay with that so I phoned the business and was told that "at least nothing happened. And that "there was a reason why you came back to us." That is not something that a business should say to a paying customer and on top of that only offering a $30 gift card for the scare due to them having a policy to not give cash refunds back. The level of unprofessionalism that the owner showed to a paying customer that brought them business TWICE is unfathomable. They made sure to express to us the fact that we came back for a service. I felt so unappreciated and unheard. The fact that my windows look nice ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT take away the level of UNPROFESSIONALISM that I experienced when there DANGEROUS TOOLS WERE LEFT FOR SOMEONE TO HARM THEMSELVES. read more

This business is at a new location 219 McHenry (same name) different logo. I posted my opinion respectfully on their wall and the owner deleted it or hid it from view because they can't deal with a difference of opinion. I'm going to assume they can't delete this review or they might have attempted too already. It's funny how the owner post their direct opinion but does not allow for me to reply directly to that post. It's was unprofessional for the owner to assume we were trying to scam her when we were referred and paid for all services rendered, regretfully of course. Their video footage is not clear on Facebook. The video shows we were looking at the car from the outside not the inside. In the shared video we are comparing to see if the tint was a true match from front to back window from the outside. My husband never stated he just got a new door panel because the old one was damaged. Please do not attempt to twist his words or change the story for your convenience. What he told you was that to replace a Mercedes door panel would cost between $700-$800. We already knew you would not own up to it, but we thought we would give you a chance to be an honest vendor, what's shocking to me is that you must not care about your business reputation. Because if you sincerely did, at the very least you would attempt to make things right instead of attacking a paying customer. I recommend that you seek to understand why a customer provides such opinion before attacking them unprofessionally. Anyone who knows my husband can attest that this car isn't driven daily and does not sit outside. What he explained to you was the lady in the long dyed black hair, I apologize for not acquiring her first name, but she recommended that my husband allow the car to sit outside for a couple of hours to allow the sun to bake the tint into drying faster. I'm not sure what was used to clean or prep the window, but the damage was due to the installation of the tint. The material is leather not fake vinyl or faux leather. It needs to be treated with more care and finesse which obviously your shop can not provide. Good, Bad or Indifference of opinion, I would never recommend your business to anyone, especially if they really care and value their car. Your shop is just not prepared to handle high end cars. read more

They left bubbles on my challenger 2017. I called they said to give it a month after it had been two weeks from the day the job was done saying it was the weather. Till this day the bubbles are still there didnt offer any suggestion or to replace tint. Bad service! read more

I brought my car here last month to get all my windows tinted. I was told by the lady behind the counter and Tony (the owner), that he stands behind all his work, and the tint has a lifetime warranty. After all the windows were tinted, Tony told me the bubbles in the film would go away in the next few days. 1 week goes by and there are still a lot of bubbles on my rear window where the dot matrix is. I call the shop and inform them about what I see and I'm told they can fix it with a piece of vinyl for $30. I told the lady on the phone no I should not have to pay for their poor installation and she tells me to bring the car by after 1 more week if the bubbles are still there. 1 weeks later it still looks exactly the same so I head over to the shop. Tony examines the window and tries to squeegee the bubbles out. He tells me, "there you go, that's as best as it's going to get"...as if he fixed the problem (it looked exactly the same). I told him there is still a problem and it needs to be fixed. He told me he can fix it for $25 now instead of the usual $40. Yes $25 is not a big deal, but I should not have to pay for their poor installation when Tony "stands behind his work". I asked asked Tony why the bubbles did not go away after a few days and he said this was air and not moisture so it will never go away on its own. I asked again how can a window be tinted like then I have to pay for the repair? His exact reply was "it was my fault that I drove off after installation" (even though I was told to give the bubbles a few days). Tony does not stand behind his work and still did not want to fix it unless I paid. I took pictures but it is very hard to capture on camera. The bubbles are very obvious in person.
