Worst brunch of my life. The service was so bad. The restaurant was empty except for one table at 1pm on Sunday. It took the server 15 to come to our table, drinks took another 15. I ordered a croquet monsieur. It was tasteless, with a salad that had been under lamps for a long time. Not sure how this sandwich had no flavor. I'd like to start off by saying that the customer service here is top notch! I came in last night (Tuesday) with my fiancé for a date night at 6. We made a reservation. It wasn't crowded when we got there, but it filled up a good bit by the time we left - I'd say a reservation is always a good idea. We were seated right away. The inside is super cool. Very vibey. It's inside the hotel Claremont. They validate your valet parking inside! Our waiter came over quickly to ask us what we wanted to drink. We stuck with water to start. We started with the bread service (just the regular although the burrata one sounded amazing). It came out hot and fresh with a side of whipped butter. Soo so good! The bread was soft and fluffy and just slightly sweet. For our entrees, we got two and split them. We got the chicken kiev and the gnocchi. When they came out, my fiancé cut into the chicken to split it up for us and we saw that it was quite raw on the inside. We informed our waiter and he was very apologetic and immediately brought it back to the kitchen. He proceeded to offer us drinks on the house for the mistake. We definitely did not expect that - but that was very kind of them and so much appreciated. We got a glass of Chardonnay and the dirty witch cocktail. The wine was great and so was the cocktail! They quickly brought out our new chicken and it was cooked through and delicious! Loved the mushrooms and sauce that it came plated with. The gnocchi was also too good. I love a crispy gnocchi so these were perfect. Super flavorful! Throughout the meal, we had a couple managers and staff come over to our table to apologize for the mistake with the chicken - again never expected really but so much appreciated! We ordered the crepe cake to go. Don't miss out on the amazing desserts! The crepe cake was delicious. Layered with cinnamon crepes, mascarpone, apple butter and caramel - it's the perfect seasonal dessert! And it's definitely big enough to split. We went for Easter brunch; it was wonderful! We had a great table next to a window at the bottom of the stairs. I had a La Charlotte which is a tasty champagne cocktail. We shared the daily Avocado Toast special- the texture of the avocado was like a mousse; we all enjoyed it. My husband had the Eggs Benedicts (the eggs were perfectly poached). My son enjoyed the Duck Confit and Waffles. The duck tasted like it was candied; he cleaned his plate! Lastly, I had the Heritage Pork Schnitzel. I love schnitzel and it was delicious with the egg and gravy with chopped eggs. It was a huge portion and I was happy to have leftovers. The very first time I came here I absolutely loved the food - the second time I went was about a year later and I'm confused bc my opinion of the food was different from the first time? Here is what we got: 1. Bread service I like the bread - it comes with yummy butter and tastes great when you are super hungry. It is kinda rich/buttery/more heavy than bread and olive oil you might get at an Italian restaurant? 2. Snap peas salad This was good - we got it bc we wanted some veggie based dishes. Not sure if it was worth 14 but at the same time it was the right quantity for 2-3 ppl. Flavor profile was diff from the main dishes we ordered so it didn't quite fit our meal as a whole (it was mustardy!) 3. Lobster risotto In the past I've seen they've done lobster risotto where the lobster was integrated into the risotto in little pieces? I remember tasting that and thinking it tastes good. But this time the lobster was one whole piece at the side of the risotto. The risotto was somewhat overwhelming for me (maybe it was the amount of cheese/dairy or salt?) and the lobster became difficult to finish by the end. The next day I was nauseous/threw up a couple times and I have to wonder if it was bc this dish just did not sit right with my body lol - it wasn't bad but I wouldn't pay 40+ for this again esp bc I'm sus that it made me sick? 4. My sister got the scallops. They were yummy!! Just beware the quantity is small-ish - bc we got the bread service and salad we were ok though 5. Crepe cake The first time I had their crepe cake I was in LOVE - I just love strawberry. This time when I had it, i had to take a break after a few bites bc it's very rich/creamy/sweet - so it kinda depends on your appetite for sweetness! It's big slice and meant for sharing. Also I loved their zero proof drinks that I had the first time (can't remember what was in them). So!! Overall!!! I think if I come here again it would just be for a dessert & drinks event - I don't think I'd get dinner again bc I think it wasn't satisfied enough with the food to feel good about splurging on it. I am coming at this review with a little bit of a different perspective. We planned an event here for a group of about 45, and I couldn't express more how great they were to work with. Valerie and her staff were so great from getting all the details together for the event to the service on the evening of. 1. The food was great! If you want an event with memorable food, choose Tiny Lous. We had a food cart just for our guests cooking pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs and sweet crepes. We also had apps, a tuna tartare on a homemade potato chip (so good, I ate a million), grougere and beef skewers. All delish. 2. Service was great! Oh, Tiny Lou's. We hadn't been here since pre-Covid, so I thought that this would be a good choice for our anniversary dinner. "Good choice" is an understatement, to say the very least. When the soup arrived I wondered where the salt and pepper was as the soup was bland. The steak was cooked as ordered, having this dish before at a different restaurant, honestly nothing outstanding with this. I had an order of Brioche and it too seemed stale and not very good. I didn't order dessert since I felt I had already spent enough on the meal and didn't want to be underwhelmed again. Enjoyed a light meal at Tiny Lou's. The restaurant is located on the lower level of the Clermont Hotel on Ponce. The restaurant has a rotating menu of French and American classics. I started by enjoying the breadbasket which is a must order! The basket has about 4-5 rolls which are warm and salted. Served with a freshly whipped butter that all melts in your mouth($5). I also could not decide what I wanted so I ordered the Brussels($14 the serving was huge I knocked out about half) and took the reviews advice and ordered Pommes aligot. Don't deliberate just order it. Service was amazing! From arrival to departure I was well attended to with smiles and great recommendations. We had a great dinner at Tiny Lou's. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an ideal date night or small group dinner spot. Not only is the food delicious, but the vintage atmosphere is fun and unique. At the time of writing this review, Tiny Lou's is the latest Atlanta-area restaurant to open from the Charleston-based Indigo Road restaurant group. The other local Indigo Road restaurants include Oak Steakhouse (opened October 2014), Colletta (February 2015), O-Ku (December 2015), and Donetto (September 2017). Tiny Lou's opened in June 2018 underneath the lobby of Hotel Clermont. Valet parking is available right in front of the hotel on Ponce De Leon Ave NE. Parking is free for two hours with a receipt from the restaurant. Reservations are recommended and can be booked for free using OpenTable. If you book using OpenTable, you'll earn dining points which you can spend towards discounts at other OpenTable restaurants or an Amazon gift card. After entering the hotel, hang a right and go down the stairs to enter Tiny Lou's. You can't miss the restaurant's distinct neon pink sign. Tiny Lou's is a brasserie or casual French restaurant. It's named after Tiny Lou, a dancer at the Clermont in the 1950s. Like the Indigo Road's other restaurants, this one looks fabulous. It's hip and stylish, in an old-school way. I love the atmosphere - there's nothing else like it in Atlanta - and it fits in seamlessly with the historic hotel. The restaurant interior has an unmistakable retro vibe. Our group of four was seated in a candle-lit, U-shaped, button booth. The restaurant serves dinner seven nights a week and brunch on Saturday and Sunday. You can also order food and drink outside the restaurant at Hotel Clermont's lobby bar late night (after 10 or 11pm). All of the hotel's spaces are very cool and worth checking out. During our visit, the dinner menu contained 12 appetizers ($9-18 each) such as Black Cocoa Foie Gras Torchon ($18) and Beef Marrow Macaire ($13), 10 entrees ($15-32) like the Clermont Burger ($16) and Whole Roasted Loup de Mer (European sea bass, $28), and six sides ($6-9) such as Spiced Crimson Lentils ($6) and Butter Bean & Corn Fricassee ($6). There were also six desserts ($7-12) and a dessert cart featuring a variety of housemade pastries. The alcoholic beverage list was extensive. Here's what I tried: Cocktail: * Not My Hula Hoop! Everything was plated beautifully; even the tableware looked nice, including the Tiny Lou's branded plates, pastry dishes, steak knives, and glasses. There's a fine attention to detail here. Not My Hula Hoop! was quite tasty. It was made with handcrafted gin from nearby Old Fourth Distillery. The apps were fantastic, though the portion sizes were a bit small. The Duke Consomme came with two dumplings. The duck consomme (soup made with duck stock) was richly flavored. It was really good; we couldn't get enough of it. The Burgundy Snails were excellent. The snails were served without shells. They were meaty and flavorful. The caper cappelletti pasta was an ideal accompaniment to help fill out the dish. The entrees were all solid. My favorite was the most basic one: the Steak Frites. Steak frites is a classic brasserie dish and Tiny Lou's version is comfort food at its finest. The coulotte (top sirloin) was lean, tender, juicy, and savory. I don't know what was in the "sauce du Clermont" (I should've asked), but it was buttery and delectable. The frites (fries) were like a better version of McDonald's fries. The Grilled Cervena Venison and Pan-Roasted Black Bass were also very good. High quality ingredients all around and each dish was well executed. I recommend ordering a side of the Pommes Aligot. These are cheesy whipped potatoes. Our order was phenomenal. Definitely ask to see the dessert cart, even if you end up not ordering anything from it. The daily pastries are neat to look at. I love the look and feel of this place. Tiny Lou's is located downstairs of Hotel Clermont and it feels so fancy when you descend the stairs and see its gorgeous interior. Their desserts are definitely beautiful and so unique too! Came here with a group of 10 on a Sunday morning to celebrate a friend's birthday. There's no sign outside of the building for Tiny Lou's - it's inside Hotel Clermont. Valet the car (complimentary with validation), walk inside and make a right down the stairs to the restaurant. The place wasn't packed at 1130am (not empty either) - comfortably busy I'd say. We didn't all fit at one table though - and they wouldn't let us push the tables together. Apparently it had something to do with the fire safety in the building. That part was a bit annoying since we had to split the group and sit at 2 separate tables; consequently unable to socialize with everyone. I loved the decor! Quaint and retro. Adorable pink booths. The cocktails were creatively named as well (see photo). The waitress came by promptly to take our orders. She was a bit short and impatient with us from the start though. Not verbally rude, but her body language didn't match her polite words if that makes sense. It was just her though - everybody else was great! We started with their take of the mimosa (delicious). The carafe has about 3 servings. Our party also ordered the duck confit waffles, crepes, chicken and waffles. Everyone enjoyed the food. Not the best I've had, but good. Portions, in my opinion, were just the right size. Although if I were to re-order the duck confit waffles, I'd get the syrup on the side. After we ate, they cut and served the birthday cake that my friend brought. *Not that many vegetarian options though - other than the salad, French toast, and side of eggs. When it came time to pay, our waitress made it very clear she did not want to do separate checks (still with the mildly rude manner). We just had her split the checks by table and managed from there. Tiny Lou's is a restaurant that doesn't offer much for brunch if you have dietary restrictions (ie. non pork eater) but what they do, they do well. My scrambled eggs with cheese were pretty good and I enjoyed the crisp of my potatoes however the toast left much to be desired and I thought it was odd that they charge you $2 extra for house made jam. After a couple of visits over the years, it's safe to say that I really really like this place. It's so beautifully designed, well-laid out for intimate dining, and it's just so damn delicious! I dined here with a group of six people last weekend and luckily, everyone was like-minded and wanted to share plates to try more of the menu. We split the following: - Pearson Farms Harvest Salad ($12): how can you not order a salad with peaches in Georgia during the summertime?! Shame on you if you don't! The green goddess dressing was particularly good. - Steak Tartare ($16): honestly, this was a letdown for me. I'm a big Brasstown Beef fan in general, but I don't feel like this was anything especially noteworthy. - Sonoma Foie Gras Pate ($15): if you like foie, you're in luck! This is served with a selection of mustards and a berry-fueled reduction that really elevates the dish. - Tartine Flambe ($12): okay, I'll be honest, we actually didn't order this - it was delivered to our table by mistake, but what a lucky accident it was! This was my favorite appetizer of them all! Part croque monsieur, part pizza, part heaven, and all of them wildly delicious. - Steak Frites: you can choose between a few cuts for their classic steak dish, which is always nice. Simple, satisfying, classic. Don't skip the frites! - Crispy Duck Confit ($26): my oh my, what a dish! I had my eye on this before we went to dinner, and was thinking the portion size might be too small. I was wrong! It's one duck breast with a leg, served over lentils. Perfectly crispy and rich, this was so yummy. I'm ordering it again next time! - Lobster Risotto ($37): I wanted to like the risotto more than I did, but maybe it's because I'm turning into a risotto snob (is that a thing?). It was a bit watery texture-wise, and not as creamy as I imagined it would be, but the flavors were there. There was also a lot of lump lobster, which I mean... lobster right? Last but not least is their incredible dessert menu! The pastry at Tiny Lou's is some of the best in ATL, and I'll fight anyone who disagrees! - Le Salon 1965 ($14): think about a carrot cake but make it the best one you've ever had. The cream cheese ice cream on the side is a special treat, too! I'd order just that if it was on the menu. (It's easy to eat too much here with so many options on the menu!) - Mort au Chocolate ($16): a flourless chocolate tort but better, somehow? I really like the candied citrus that this comes with. It's such a bright burst of flavor and texture with the creamy chocolate tort. They do offer corkage but can't recall what it is off the top of my head. Service is really great here. These folks earn their keep! The hotel's valet provides a convenient parking option for dining. Good luck finding any street parking around this area on a busy night! read more

The rooftop gave beautiful views of the city and conveniently has a bar! I've heard many good things about this place. I do actually think it's more of a 3.5 but I can't give half-stars. Let's get into it, yea? The ambiance is quite nice. Felt like I was in an old-timey restaurant with the decor. Really, really great. The server was fun and on top of his game. But let's get to the food! _ Bread service, burrata version $12 The bread itself was great, but the burrata was unnecessary. I do kind of wish we ordered the other version without it. But it was still good don't get me wrong! _ Heirloom tomatoes $15 It was... fine? I had a different expectation of this but the tomatoes were light and nice for the palette. _ Sonoma foie gras pate $15 One of my favorites of the evening. Loved the jelly on top and love that it was served in a small mason jar. They could've added a few more slices of the crunchy bread slices here, but that's okay. The flavor was great, perfectly salty, and had great flavor. I love pate, so this was a home run for me. _ Lobster risotto $37 Not sure if it's worth the price but this was really good. The risotto was creamy and nicely seasoned. The lobster was fresh and tender. _ Crispy duck confit $26 Hands down the favorite of the table. The duck really was crispy, and had a nice gamey flavor, but not overwhelming. The lentils were also a nice surprise and really, really good. Definitely recommend this dish and definitely worth the price. _ Tagliatelle $50 Unfortunately, this was just very underwhelming. I am pretty sure the justification for the price is because of the truffles, but we definitely expected it to have very thinly sliced/shaved truffles, and it looked like it was just finely chopped or dusted on top. The tagliatelle was... in my opinion not wide enough? and was drowned in the sauce, and maybe slightly overcooked. It didn't have much of a bite. Not at all what any of us at the table expected. _ Crepe cake $18 We all really enjoyed the crepe cake. Really good mix of flavors and is beautifully presented. The server told us an entire cake would cost $400. I'm honestly shocked. I've paid a few hundred for a designer cake before, and I just find it... incredibly expensive if that is the actual cost for a crepe cake. Then again, based on the $18 slice, I guess I could believe that...? _ Mort au chocolat $16 If you enjoy chocolate, you will probably enjoy this. I thought it was incredibly rich and dense. Very loud place with no sound absorption. The wait staff was pleasant and very attentive to the water glasses. The bread course was disappointing we ordered both choices and it was supposed to be brioche. It was not. It was just warm white bread. The gnocchi was bland and rubbery. The Beouf bourginion was way too salty. The truffle fries did not have any truffle taste and they were not crispy. I'll update once our STEAK FRITES arrive! We came on a Wednesday and the Poulette rouge was out! No more aligot! (You've seen the YouTube videos of the delicious cheesy potato goodness!) *Late Review Post* I visited for a birthday dinner on Aug 29th. The staff couldn't have been more kind or attentive. The hostess brought a birthday card to the table that everyone on shift signed (super sweet and unexpected). Our server graciously provided our table with two glasses of champagne on the house. Entrees consumed included the duck confit, Clermont burger and, pan seared diver scallops. We also had the bread service twice (thanks Food Network for the recommendation) and their mango crepe cake. I'm not a mango fan so it was just okay for me. The rest of my group loved it. I would go back in a heart beat. I dined here for a friends birthday dinner. It is located inside the hotel, downstairs. it was really nice & had a good ambiance. definitely a good spot for a date night. the wait staff was really attentive & responsive. we ordered a few appetizers - gnocchi, brussels, broccoli , and mac & cheese. they were all good. the brussels were a little too charred for my liking but everything else was good. i ordered the steak frites for dinner & it was a really nice piece of meat. a big portion size too. this is a bit pricer restaurant but a good spot & id come back. the parking situation is the only thing that gets a negative from me. it was tough to find parking but other than that, the experience was good. read more

Great environment very cute for a date night or anniversary! Food was amazing but definitely a bit pricey so I would save it for a special occasion or celebration! I got the scallops and they were amazingg but a bit spicy! My date got the swordfish and would describe it as "exquisite" but says he prefers the scallops. My wife and I went tonight to have a formal date for the first time since February when the madness started. We came here because a friend couple recommended it as they had strict COVID-19 safety measures. We parked for free on the back where the iconic Clermont Lounge is, went up the stairs and through the front of the remodeled Clermont Hotel, where they took our temperature with a non-contact infrared thermometer. The hostess greeted us and took us downstairs. We made reservations for 6 pm (Saturday) and the place was empty, which is ideal these days. We instantly loved the atmosphere of this place. Very classy and interesting. Service was quick and we really liked our waiter. She was very knowledgeable of the bar options, the menu and lots of fun. We started with a glass of Malbec and the Old Fashioned. We prefer Argentinian Malbec and this was French, and the Old Fashioned was OK, so we will need to try different drinks next time. We got the Gnocchi Parisian as an appetizer and it was delicious. We followed with the Steak and Frites and the Pork Chop and those were really good as well. We finished our date with the Fromage Lemon Cheesecake and the Samantha (Cornbread with Corn Ice Cream) and we really liked both deserts a lot. All personnel was wearing masks and gloves, and all tables were more than 6 feet apart. We felt pretty safe while having our date. So the food was really good overall (especially that Gnocchi), but what makes this place above everything else is it's atmosphere and excellent service. The revamp of Claremont Hotel to have this upscale dining situation right above where elderly strippers retire, is so on brand for Atlanta lol. You have to valet which is nice, but it can and does get full so be prepared if that happens. Tiny Lou's was everything I hoped it would be. Artisan cocktails, amazing food, wonderful plating. Small and intimate. Something about it feels romantic, mysterious, like you are dining in an episode of Mad Men or something. Met up with 3 of my friends for a dinner. Our server was personable without being over bearing and had great command of the drink menu. COCKTAILS: She suggested I have a drink (forgot the name?) that basically was what would happen if Lambrusco wine and a French 75 had a baby. Delightful and refreshing. They even have wonderful zero proof drinks for those who do not partake in liquor or are designated drivers so everyone gets to be fancy. FOOD: The server brought out a bread that was made in house, sliced, and stuffed with burrata cheese and butter. AMAZEBALLS. This made me ready to get that calorie count up and be 100% ok with it. Once my friends settled in we all got a few things to share. Steak tartare and hamachi crudo got the party started because we like things raw sometimes LOL. The steak was perfectly thin sliced and tender from a great cut of meat. Hamachi crudo made me feel like I was eating in a fine sushi restaurant. For dinner, I had a special which was a short rib. It was so flavorful and tender you could cut it with a butter knife...I was highly upset to find my husband eating my leftovers later that evening. My friend ordered the steak and frites...and check this out, they make their own in house truffle oil for those fries so you know the result was outstanding. We also tried the pan sear scallops which were a dream and all the items it is plated with serves as a vehicle of culinary amazingness. Lastly we had the heritage farm pork chop which is basically a smokey delicious creamy well seasoned bean high end cousin of pork and beans. All of this was mind blowing. DESSERT: as dinner winded down and my calorie count began making the results of my New Years resolution a little more than a hope, somehow we were encouraged to get a slice of the crepe cake and boyyyyyyyyy....it did not disappoint. It takes them a totally of 42 hours to get this thing ready to be served. Light airy without being too sweet perfection. It's a perfect marriage between breakfast and dessert. I was very impressed. It's been awhile since a place has knocked my socks off and made me want to tell everyone about it. Plus it's super cute for photo ops in there. All I can say about this place is WOOOOOW!!! I travelled in from houston and planned my entire trip around visiting the Hotel Clermont, especially Tiny Lou's. We were told the menu is changing in 10 days so I'm not sure if the foods I tried will still be on the menu, but let me rave about it! Upon arrival to hotel clermont, a very nice gentleman took temperatures to make sure we didn't have COVID. Being from Houston which is code red, this made me feel very comfortable knowing they are taking extra precautions. After walking in we were greeted by the sweetest hostess (I'm not sure if that was her position, but she was super nice!) and she took us to our table. My mom and I came to celebrate my 25th bday and the servers signed a card for me, which made me feel special Ashlynne was our server and apparently she was new. I would have never known! She was knowledgeable about the food and gave perfect descriptions of the food. We asked for recommendations and she provided the best options on the menu. And ya know what? She was right about everything!! REVIEW OF FOOD: Apps: -Black Cocoa Foie Gras Tourchon 10/10 very creamy and the pears fit perfectly with the dish. The homemade bread it came with was soft and flaky, definitely not what I was expecting but I'm a good way! I wish I could buy a dozen loads of this bread. -Gruyere Mac n Cheese 25/10 literally the best Mac I've had in my life, even better than mine and that's saying a lot. Their pasta is homemade and you can tell by how well the cheese sticks to the pasta. If you go here ORDER THIS!!!! Entrees: All meats are brined here, making them super tender, per Ashlynne -Steak Fritas 10/10 I thought this would be a steak patty or something, but it was actually steak and fries. The steak was more tender than a filet and the sauce they put on it was too delicious to put into words. The French fries it came with were so crispy and the best I've ever had. Better than McDonalds and whataburger!! Don't change your side I swear you're going to want these. -Pork Chop 10/10 this is brined in salt for 24hrs and you can tell. It was so tender and had such a unique flavor. It came with creamy mashed potatoes that seemed like it had grits in it. I'm big on texture so it was a little weird, but still delicious! It comes with corn, mushrooms and mini zucchini on top with some sort of sauce. OMG THAT SAUCE!!!!! Drinks: my mom had French wine which she loved. I had a lemon drop that was the perfect mix of sweet and sour. I think the second drink I ordered was the aviation (Ashlynne recommended) and it was very floral. It was a perfect mix of gin, lavender and a few other ingredients. A gentleman kept dropping off our drinks so I asked If was the bartender, but he was actually the manager and said "I wish but I can't take credit for those delicious drinks". As a person in the restaurant industry, I love seeing managers helping out their servers/bartenders and making multiple appearances on the floor. He was very nice and we had a great little convo. If I worked at a restaurant, I'd want him as my manager. Overall, this was the best time I've had all year. The atmosphere was very relaxed and had that oldie French vibe I was hoping for. The rooftop was beautiful so I'll add a few pics but we didn't stay there long. We were too stuffed lol. Sorry for the long review but this place deserves it! Great service and personal touches as we came for our anniversary. Received complementary bubbles for the occasion. Burrata bread service was fantastic. We stayed at the Clermont hotel and went for brunch in a Sunday. We absolutely loved our server. I forgot her name but she was super real with her recommendations and friendly which was the perfect brunch vibe. Their brunch menu is traditional with a French flair. Priced very fairly and generous portions. I would definitely go back for brunch. Super cute aesthetic in tiny Lou's from the walk in to the coffee plates. The deviled eggs are amazing if you're a fan of them normally with a nice truffle edge and the potatoes look basic but have incredible flavor. read more

Disappointing. We had the cornbread madeleines for the table. There were 4 very small pieces for $9. The halibut was dry and flavorless. White Shrimp and Lump Crab Brochette seemed to be missing the butternut squash. The lump crab tasted good, but it was presented as a visually unappealing brown tube squirted on the shrimp. Sadly, even the desserts were a disappointment despite claims of the best pastry chef in the city. The crepe cake had a strong artificial strawberry flavor. I don't know if the issue was a new chef, but the prices are too high to take another chance that they might improve. read more
