I do have a feeling the server was new and very courteous , so I can give her a pass but waited 20 minutes just to get our drinks (two beers and a white claw) and additional 20 minutes for the check. The ceviche is a very small portion for the price and was basically cut up shrimp and lime juice. Peel & eat shrimp was cooked in a lot of oil and seasoning. My wife & I both got sick from the food after we left. This is the second time we have tried the tiki docks and we will not be back. read more

I walked a long way to eat at this place, I asked for their chicken wings which costed somewhere between $12-$13 for just the wings alone; combined with some fries and a drink and it costed around $23. On top of that, the food wasn't even that good, the wings were barely warm and were falling apart in my hands; and the fries were sup par at best. Oysters were full of large pieces of shells in every single bite, two teens got burgers, and the meat tasted very strange. Alcohol is very expensive and very weak. Nothing is even close to the pictures that Intice you to order. Three out of our party of eight were able to eat the food. Spent over $300 for food that was not touched other than one bite. We asked about adjusting the bill due to the quality of food, and they took off $5. We did not cause a scene, tipped the waiter well, and left. Will never be back. The atmosphere is the only plus. Was excited to try this place for the first time. I was extremely disappointed with the worst food we have had in a long time. Save your money. read more

We have been waiting a couple of years for this place to open. Definitely can't go on your boat because there are no docks. The food was over priced, small portions, and uneventful. I have came to this place 2 times in the last 2 weeks. Both times the service was very slow. Very understaffed and lack of training seems to be the problem. Prices don't match the quality of the food. The $12 ceviche was served in small cup on top of a plate full of chips. It was not fresh. I send it back and ordered grilled chicken wings. It's a cool new place and all but.. The ambiance is only so much of the $$$...the food is simply over priced. I was honestly surprised and disappointed at the (literally) miniature looking size of the grouper sandwhich and fish tacos. The sides are cheap so there's no excuses for it. One of the most disappointing meals I've had in a while. We started by ordering the boat watermelon margarita. Don't expect a big drink. When I hear boat, I think that it would be big, but it was in a small plastic cup. Then the entree came our before our appetizers. The street corn had hardly any toppings and the wings were charred to a crisp and were very bitter tasting because they were burned. The pineapple fried rice was very salty. My husband and I decided to go to tiki docs for lunch on a beautiful Thursday afternoon and chose to sit inside because it was a bit windy. There were only two other tables with people and they were already eating so we thought it would be nice and peaceful. However after sitting for 15 minutes at least no one had come to get our drink order even though servers were passing us constantly. We decided to leave and go to stein and vine where we always feel special. Sadly we won't be back to tiki docs after this incident. read more

Great location. Beautiful building and deck. Drinks are good. The food is average and really needs and overhaul with chef inspired items. So many places have better shrimp dishes and the fish dip is very average. Seems like all items added came from a can. Served with pork rinds which is disgusting. Great, fun atmosphere. You feel like you're in the South Pacific! The wait staff were very pleasant, but a bit slow due to a big crowd. We experienced a live entertainer, which was fun. The food, however, seems to be hit-and-miss. My daughter enjoyed the ribs, and my wife enjoyed the coconut shrimp. I had the skirt steak, which was overcooked but served cold, and the mango salsa rice though tasty, was also cold. The prices are mid-range. so, finally got to try out the tiki docks in riverview. the building is really nice, tiki-esque vibe all over, walls of water, "bamboo" covered walls, lava rocks, palapa style umbrellas, all on the river. our server hailey (i think) was GREAT, super friendly, not pushy and attentive. drinks are great and heavy handed with the pour. we had a couple of tiki drinks and then some tiki docks originals, all well done. for lunch we tried the coconut battered chicken fingers with coconut honey mustard.....they were fine, just one problem, we couldn't taste any coconut on the chicken or the sauce. we decided to try 2 of their burgers, split & share. first off, the burgers are hand made because they're not the traditional round patty, they are more elongated. cooked perfectly, juicy and tasty, fries were crispy and nicely salted...... we thought the prices were really reasonable. overall it is a good, fun place to have nearby. this place gets really busy early and stays that way for the whole day. despite being open only a couple of months, they have their stuff together and do a nice job. read more

I'm a dedicated oyster fan. I've been eating them for 50 years, all over the world. Raw, steamed, grilled, fried - you name it. When I saw raw oysters on the menu, I immediately ordered a half-dozen ($10.99). What I received was extremely disappointing - any of the 6 oysters would have easily qualified as the smallest oyster I have ever eaten. Truly pathetic! Not one to complain, I let it go, but for $1.00 each, they still would have been overpriced. I have eaten terrific oysters several times recently at other local restaurants, so I know larger oysters are available. These were fine for frying, or chowder, but please, not raw! My rating would normally have been 3 stars for such a disappointment, but the fish and chips made up for it , and pushed my rating to 4 stars. Biggest piece of fish ever! Perfectly seasoned, battered and fried, my meal drew compliments from everyone for it's size and presentation. Away from my meal, the restaurant gets top marks for menu selections, happy hour, service, and ambiance. Social distancing obvious, and well done. We will definitely be back, and hopefully the oysters will have grown by then. read more

I've been to Tiki Docks Three times and unfortunately all three times I've had a Terrible experience. Tonight was the icing on the cake. This place is too pretty to be messing up on the service the way they do. We got water after sitting for about 10 min. We requested lemon and the waitress brought us water without lemon or straws. Five minutes later the waitress passed by and we asked her again for lemon and straws. She returned and gave us the straws and again, forgot about the lemons. We ordered appetizers- the waitress brought us the wrong food. She looked back at her pad and said "oh, I wrote it down correctly but entered it incorrectly on the computer. I've been a mess all day. I had about 9 orders go back to the kitchen today". We understood that she may have been having a bad day so we were patient. Almost 20 minutes later she comes back with the right appetizer except this time did not bring the dipping sauces, just a basket of crabby chicken. By the time she came back around the chicken was cold (not to mention chewy) so we just put it to the side. The waitress was not attentive. She would come by, drop the food at the table and leave. She didn't ask if there was anything else we needed or how we were doing. Finally we ordered our meal & by the time it was received the food it was cold, we were out of water and at this point annoyed. So we left. Overall the Chicken was chewy, no condiments were brought to our table, drinks came without ice because apparently they ran out. It was an overall bad experience. The manager handled the situation well and did not charge us for anything brought to our table. I offered to pay for the chips and salsa, but manager insisted that it was okay and on them. I love the vibe but I don't think I'll be back again. read more
