This place is brand new that just recently opened in the midst of the pandemic period. We have been seeing this place under construction till the pandemic hit everyone. Finally we tried this place for an early lunch as they open at 11 am during sundays. The whole place is huuuuge! So social distancing is not a problem. Being on the side of Gibsonton river gives that perfect ambiance and florida coastal dinning feel. On these grounds, all boxes are checked. Let's talk about the food. We ordered ceviche, some sandwich with crab meat cake in it, wings with some crab meats sprinkled on too of it. Why i rated 3 stars only? Most of the food items we ordered are mediocre. Sorry guys, hopefully they can improve it. The only best tasting is the crab cake in the sandwich. The wings are grilled which gave it the smoky flavor and then tossed on typical chicken wings buffalo like sauce plus crab meat sprinkled on top of it. Personally, the taste didnt come together. The ceviche with some chips were one of the downer items. Will not recommend it until they make it better. Overall, its good place, good ambiance, good to bring friends or guest visiting tampa or florida. Have been wanting to try this place for some time. As you pass it looks like a fun place with beautiful views of you sit outside. The parking is a bit tricky to get to and once you find it, it's another hassle to find parking as it gets pretty hectic. I was surprised at how packed it was. I was a little reluctant to go in because it very busy BUT they do offer outdoor seating, which we opted for. Service was pretty friendly and everyone seemed upbeat. This is a very great spot for happy hour and good food. I was very impressed with the food. Tasty, fresh and decently priced. I'm from Maryland and as a Marylander, I approve and recommend the crabby wings over and over again. These wings were cooked to perfection and old bay seasoned!! OH AND on top of that, they come topped off with crab meat!!! This alone was a meal it self with a side of delicious fries. My amazing girlfriend also ordered the Alafia tacos. Her choices were the blackened shrimp, avocado and blackened cod. Her favorite was the shrimp but they were all blasting with flavor, topped perfectly, and cooked to perfection. Pina coladas were perfectly blended and extremely refreshing. A great selection of local beers and draft beers as well. First timer! Glad I've finally been able to check this place out! It's Huge! Love the double sided waterfall wall at the front entrance! Great spot for some photos. Wait time was 30min for a party of 2 at 3pm on a Friday. Luckily we found seats at the indoor bar and ordered from there. Happy hour is 3-6 and $2 off drinks! I got the pain killer and wow was it a strong one! Definitely worth the money. I love the cute tiki glasses as well. I got the taco trio-ordered one pork belly, grouper and cod. Unfortunately, the bartender/waitress never wrote down our order and I ended up with three fish tacos that all tasted the same. I also asked if it came with a side and was told no (weird) so I ordered a side of fries but then when it arrived it came with chips and salsa. I wish i would've known that from the get-go although I will say the fries were 10x better than the chips! Overall great atmosphere, drinks and views. Food was just ok. I was excited to see and hear this location opened. My mom was coming down from out of town and we were looking forward to meeting here to eat outdoors. However, I tried calling and sat on hold 5 different times when calling this location's phone number. It immediately went to hold, no one ever answered. I called the St Pete location to verify the number for Riverview and confirmed I had been calling the correct number. I haven't eaten there but the lack of doing a simple task like answering a phone call gives me great concern at the lack of attention many other aspects would receive. I hope to try at some point to change my initial impression. read more

Tried this place for the first time. I would always pass by when driving on 301 in Riverview. I got the street corn and visited with my sister and mom. I love street corn and it did not disappoint! My sister and mom enjoyed their food and the atmosphere as well. We will return for sure. read more

Can't tell ya how disappointed our party of 6 was. Poor service, never did get Ketchup for the fries. Can't believe the price of the ribs, for so few really small ribs. The fish and chips was huge but very greasy,, but had a good taste They are not adhering to the 6' distancing. They put a party of 5 right next to us within 2 feet between chairs. It will be sometime before we try this place again. Even being new they have enough restaurant experience to do a much better job and train the servers better. Bigger place than it looks and the outdoor bar is very cool. Not the biggest bourbon selection in the world but certainly for the "Tiki Bar" crowd it is just fine. I was very disgusted by my visit today. I've been here before and never had a great experience. Today I asked about happy hour & when I ordered a well drink the bartender Nick replied "oh on a budget are we" which shocked me to my core. I was shamed for ordering a drink on the establishments happy hour menu.... I was so stunned that I couldn't respond. Two other customers heard the comment and made remarks about it. Service was extremely slow when it wasn't even busy. I felt like I was being ignored and fighting for attention to put an order in. I do not want to return ever again!!!! I will start by saying this is a super cool looking spot! Super huge, lots of seating at inside and outside and great bar area! I was out with some girlfriends at another bar and we wanted to keep drinking and get some snacks. The food was good but we mainly ordered apps and not actual dinner meals. We ordered the wings covered and crab meat that were a hit, the crab cakes were delicious, coconut battered chicken tenders that I was disappointed with the lack of coconut flavor and texture, and the shrimp friend rice that we had to send back to get cooked more cause the rice was like little pieces of tires. It was better when they brought it back but still just meh. I don't think it's very expensive but could have better quality food. I would come here again for the experience and ambiance cause it's such a cool looking place! They have a huge parking lot as well! We tried Tiki Docks for the first time yesterday. I know they have been really busy especially on the weekends. We happened to be running some errands and stopped in for a bite to eat around 4pm. Riverview location. Sorry to leave a bad review but the food was substandard. Very overpriced and the service was slow. I do have a feeling the server was new and very courteous , so I can give her a pass but waited 20 minutes just to get our drinks (two beers and a white claw) and additional 20 minutes for the check. The ceviche is a very small portion for the price and was basically cut up shrimp and lime juice. Peel & eat shrimp was cooked in a lot of oil and seasoning. My wife & I both got sick from the food after we left. This is the second time we have tried the tiki docks and we will not be back. read more

Visiting family and I wanted to go out for dinner with a great view. They recommended Tiki Docks. I had the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken and the South Seas Sangria. My sister had a Margarita and Kokomo Burger. Our server, Eric was extremely helpful, his customer service skills were amazing, and when it came to recommendations on the menu, he was spot on. The food was wonderful, and we enjoyed the view of the boats on the river, the weather was great. We had so much fun, we plan to visit again before the trip is over. Oysters were full of large pieces of shells in every single bite, two teens got burgers, and the meat tasted very strange. Alcohol is very expensive and very weak. Nothing is even close to the pictures that Intice you to order. Three out of our party of eight were able to eat the food. Spent over $300 for food that was not touched other than one bite. We asked about adjusting the bill due to the quality of food, and they took off $5. We did not cause a scene, tipped the waiter well, and left. Will never be back. The atmosphere is the only plus. One of the most disappointing meals I've had in a while. We started by ordering the boat watermelon margarita. Don't expect a big drink. When I hear boat, I think that it would be big, but it was in a small plastic cup. Then the entree came our before our appetizers. I have came to this place 2 times in the last 2 weeks. Both times the service was very slow. Very understaffed and lack of training seems to be the problem. My husband and I decided to go to tiki docs for lunch on a beautiful Thursday afternoon and chose to sit inside because it was a bit windy. There were only two other tables with people and they were already eating so we thought it would be nice and peaceful. However after sitting for 15 minutes at least no one had come to get our drink order even though servers were passing us constantly.
